    Niacinamide has honestly saved my skin. My skin used to be red and inflamed,a lot of pimples both with a white head and under the skin as well as my forehead was covered I mean covered in tiny bumps you couldn’t see unless in the sun and it would get so itchy. My pores were very large and I would get alot of seabum coming out especially on my chin and blackheads. My skin was very dry and acne prone. My skin now is almost perfectly clear with very little texture and no where near as dry. My forehead doesn’t have those bumps either 😁 It’s so interesting to here people don’t have the same affect

    The Ordinary makes unscented products, so shouldn't that immediately make it 5 stars? Do you expect them to put fragrance in it to make it smell better? Unscented is always better and preferred. I disagree with your judging of "smell" on these products...

    • @claudia99721
      @claudia99721 2 роки тому +33

      Well, in his defense, he never mentioned that smell would affect the functionality of the products and indicate that good smell would be better. I’m sure he only meant to share with the viewers what kind of smell u would expect when buying this product.

      Unscentes isn´t always better. This is a social media myth. Fragrance is very well tested in industry. Some people is allergic, but saying fragrance is always irritant is fearmongering. Also. fragrance is one of the most expensive ingredients, thats the main reason The Ordinary avoids it, to keep the final price of the products low.

    I guess the Niacinamide serum works differently for everyone but it work wonders for me. I noticed that it helps a lot with my skin texture. I also use it whenever I have pimples so that it'll go away faster since it is a bit drying and I have oily skin back then. Though, my skincare is more moisturizing focus now and I don't have much pimple as before, so using the Niacinamide serum is a bit redundant now haha. I still use it if there's pimples on my face though just not as much as before.

    • @lokylong28
      @lokylong28 3 роки тому +3

      Agreed. It’s important that we always take our skin’s feelings into consideration. It helped treat my oily skin and smoothen my skin texture, but I wouldn’t use it as often now that my skin is less oily, just to avoid the irritation

    The caffeine eye serum is great at reducing puffiness (I also love putting it all over my face in the morning), but it also made my dark eye circles worse. After trying quite a few other serums by the ordinary (niacinamide [did nothing] hyaluronic acid [meh] retinol 0.5) their buffet showed the best results (in terms of keeping my skin supple & hydrated all day).
    Instead I’ve turned to Niod’s products, also under Deciem - which are amazing! Their eye contour concentrate & CAIS is a life saver.

It felt like my skin was warm the first few times and there was one day I even had a bit of the allergic mosquito looking bumps on my face which cleared the next day. Ever since then I'm quite impressed as it has gotten rid of my newborn acne and it has also caused 3 pimples on my face which cleared in two days plus the weird thing was the acne that grew from when I was using the niacinimide all had whiteheads which was a sigh of relief for me as I used to get a lot of cystic acne so now I'm filled with bumps, holes and a lot of scars on my face. Btw I'm on period now and I do have 2 prolly cystic acne but looking at how little acne I have during this time of the month, I'm super impressed. Whiteheads clear up so much faster than just pure cystic and niacinimide has lessen the redness of my newborn pimple. Currently I’m using the ordinary niacinamide and it has been great in reducing oiliness in my face. Before this I’m having trouble with acne and oily skin but after using niacinamide my face not oily anymore but for acne I think it will take more time to see the result. FYI, the way I using it by putting 2 drop on my palm and pat it on my face. Don’t use many drop because it has high percentage of niacinamide and it can irritate your skin.

      @@qal7942 am & pm. tapi kalau dia buat kulit irritated try pakai malam je sbb mostly ramai yg pakai malam. Aku tak guna banyak skincare sngt. Kalau pagi aku pakai cetaphil cleanser, niacinamide, moisturizer n sunscreen. Cetaphil ni dah 3 - 4 tahun aku pakai sbb dia gentle cleanser tapi dia xde effect sangat la untuk kulit aku yg berminyak+acne+large pore+blackhead. So skrng dah tukar sikit untuk malam punya routine cosrx ac collection punya cleanser sbb dia ade 0.5 salicylic acid and dia xbuat kulit kering. Setakat ni blackhead kat hidung memang berkurang gila plus muka berminyak sikit je. Pastu niacinamide n TO retinol then moisturizer. Retinol tu baru 3 minggu start guna. Aku recommend guna cosrx ac collection calming foam cleanser + niacinamide untuk belah malam. Cosrx tu boleh beli dekat shopee kedai cosrx tu sendiri (shipped dari korea). Kalau nak beli time 9.9 10.10 11.11 sbb time tu harga dia murah. Aku beli RM30 je. Kalau beli waktu lain harga dia mahal n kat watson lagi mahal.

      Since you are 30 and above, I suggested you to try adding retinol on your skincare routine. Retinol is one the most effective ingredients but it's only for 25 and above. Retinol good for anti aging, pores, scars, ,wrinkles and acne. You only can use it at night and don't forget wear your sunscreen at AM.
