Do you think with Kawasaki & Bimota working together in WSBK, will they be champions once again? 🫣

Probably not until they have a competitive V4 engine. The inline 4 doesn't seem to cut it anymore on the stop-turn-accelerate GP circuits.

I stopped paying attention to new bikes once the Rs660 came out 😂 such a joke! I’ll be riding my early 2000’s liter bikes til I die!

With the new Bimota partnership, Kawasaki will be able to easily make changes and develop their bike to be more competitive, the Bimota might end up being more of a prototype bike than the ZX10RR.
I just see this as a way for Kawasaki to get around WorldSBK rules, without the commitment of making the same expensive performance updates to their current bikes

There revs were taken away back in 2016 to slow them down. All they have to do is give them back there revs.

@@KMRF510 I think they must have gotten that back already, it's just that while WorldSBK was sandbagging the Kawasaki, BMW and Ducati made big steps with their M1000RR and V4R.

Bimota produces expensive high end products to sport bike markets. The product can be tailored more for racing than mass production. Bimota has concentrated more on frames, suspension etc. Kawasaki is an expert in engines. Both technically and market sense marriage looks good. Maybe we’ll see green Bimotas in the future 😅

how silly are you, kawasaki have shares in bimota, , and its about building a one off bike to beat the rules. and only have to make so many , 150 i think, not thousands like the zx 10, this will be a top bike and be a top spec

Kawasaki, like all Japanese manufacturars,as well as all the others, have to make money to survive. Why spend a lot to make a good bike just so that micky mouse dorna/fim can castrate them. They only want Ducati's on the track to dominate with Spanish and Italian riders. Ducati has a history of racing with other companies money as well as separate rules for them to have an advantage on the competition. Currently Volkswagen/ Audi owns them and pay the bills for new production lines, development etc. Wont be surprised if it is German tec as well. Ducati are riding on their backs and pretend to be this Italian masterpieces. As a company, they could not survive on their own and was always the property of somebody else, like most Italian motorcycle brands. Most Ducati fans have never owned one or even ride on one because of the high prices, running cost and unreliability. Ducati is just a name used by Volkswagen to write off a bit of tax money. Nothing wrong with it, its good business but for Ducati to pretend to be something they are clearly not is BS. Bimota, another failing Italian brand is now under Kawasaki's wing to survive. If they use it to get one up on Dorna, why not.

    Great video 🏍️🏍️🏍️
The motorcycle racing landscape has changed so much in the last few years.
Honda and Yamaha dominance in Moto Gp plus a few good years for Suzuki, now the European bikes Ducati, Aprillia and KTM.
Kawasaki dominance in world superbikes, and now Ducati and BMW.
Even the superbike/senior TT used to be won by Honda quite often is now a BMW class.

Technically they didnt leave if its called Bitmota By Kawasaki lol. That's a power move. Theyre using someone else to do the actual work. Kawasaki has 3 electric bikes.. thats where theyre going. I own a Kawasaki Ninja and im planning to go with Suzuki next.. not because of my Ninja being bad, but because I would like to own more than one brand.. just like Kawasaki is doing currently.
