Never ceases to amaze me, just how humble you guys are, all up and down the paddock. I think top-level riders are some of the best role models in the world of sport.
Can't believe Monster didn't advertise and open this to the public. The PR/advertising/merchandising opportunities would have been incredible. Obviously, there may well have been insurance issues and other things I'm not aware of, but still... Even so, it was fantastic to see so many world class riders all on track at the same time. Brilliant.
It's bonkers!!! I'd of taken the day off work (which I rarely do) if only to get to sit in the stands. Just to be in the same county as all of these legends would be just a fantastic feeling. Let alone watch them pass time on a track.
Agreed. And coverage of the World of Ducati race also, I had to go hunting for that, should be publicised much more. Such unique events any motorcycle racing fan would want to see.
Your "touching the knee brings confidence" resonanted so strongly with me. As soon as I could reliably touch the ground I found loads of speed. I find your explanations really really helpful. I would love some more insights into your riding or even basic bike setup stuff. So much to learn. Still in need of a Goon Rider T-Shirt.
I remember Rins' recovery process after the Mugello crash - can you imagine getting on a Fireblade and saying "this thing is...super heavy and WAY underpowered."
For real, it was the same with Lewis Hamilton, when he made that video with Rossi riding bikes, a 7 times world champion in the most prestigious race series in the world and he was completely low balling himself and legit fanboying Rossi. 😅 This video by itself completely changed my opinion of Hamilton, felt like i´ve never been able to see who he really is behind all that media circus. Ever since i´m 100% rooting for the guy.
JR that must have been an amazing experience for you, with everything you've achieved, but at heart your like us mere mortals, you just love bikes and still a bike fan, you could sell thousands of tickets to watch that track day👍 good luck for the rest of the season, will be supporting you at portimao in August 💯
Great work buddy. What a day that must of been. Shame i didn't no, as only live 15mins from track. Could of got in. Shame Silverstone didn't do a trackday for bikes this year. Love this track.. finger crossed they come back next year.. 👍🏼🙏🏼
WAIT, you won 6 championships WITHOUT trailbraking?!?! I must have misheard that, right?! Otherwise this could mean soooo much freaking potential for faster rounds, this would be insane! How on earth have you been this fast all these years?! If this is true i´m honestly completely blown away, i can´t even wrap my head around how you dominated so many years with the best of the best without using a (i would think at least) essential technic to ride a bike fast. You obviously know way better, but in my head i am flabbergasted how much potential you could STILL have by applying tailbraking into your riding style... Can´t tell you how much i would love to see you giving it a shot! Anyways, best of luck as always and believe in yourself, you know what you can do! 👍
You have to follow other riders into a turn brakes on as deep as you can go into the V slower than you want then once you exit the V full power now your eyes will loose focus but that is how you take a corner.
JR, mate..you don’t lose talent, the Yamaha is just going to take a while before it all clicks…& when it does, you’ll be tussling at the pointy end.. Remember, you didn’t win 6 titles by being slow dude! It’ll come 😉🤙🏽 What an event though.. A shame it wasn’t open to public viewing
Still looks weird to see him in blue especially seeing as it’s not a particularly competitive bike this year and Yamaha are following Suzuki and giving up on Thou’s. Thank God for BMW, Aprilia, Ducati,Honda for not selling out.
All this riding style about leaning off the bike is all just for show Jonathan, it’s completely unnecessary to go fast. Guarantee I know someone (cough) who with a bit of practice can beat all of you at silverstone riding a motorbike properly . See how would you feel if your doing some laps around silverstone and a big lad 6’3 comes tearing past you leaning the bike to full angle while still sat fully on the seat ( as it’s made for) how would you feel Jonathan? To get over taken by a so called “goon” 😃😃😃😃😃
I’ve been on track days when ppl thought they were Rossi, Rea, Dunlop etc., imagine turning up when they were actually there…… dreams are made of this

So cool seeing Mark Webber spin laps on two wheels!
Don't sell yourself short Jonathon, you are one of the best as well mate...:)
Ultimate track day nice for all the riders to get together

When my 4 year old niece is out there I’m sure she feels the same way. Just kidding bub.
This video, but 10 times as long. That was....awesome.
I remember Rins' recovery process after the Mugello crash - can you imagine getting on a Fireblade and saying "this thing is...super heavy and WAY underpowered."

That’s got to be the ultimate track day ever…
6x worldsbk champion says he rides a bike at a “good level”…humility is clearly a skill for these guys as well

JR is awesome.
This is insane lol
Please organise this to be an annual event ❤
The floating front tire makes the engine a dilemma about whether to keep the throttle open or closed...
excellent.
A shout out to Josh Brookes for his second in the senior TT, not bad for a track guy, and his an Aussie, so I'm biased as.

I was hoping to see skinner on the two stroke wobbling around :L
man i gotta shower after a haircut.....hows he do it?!?!?
👍
Keep er lit bigman 🔥 👍🏻
Awesome vlog mate 👍🏽😎🏍 Nice to get a bit if behind the scenes 🙏🏽🔥🔥

No more thou’s in BSB in a few years, only qualifying Supersport machines 😢
Still looks weird to see him in blue especially seeing as it’s not a particularly competitive bike this year and Yamaha are following Suzuki and giving up on Thou’s. Thank God for BMW, Aprilia, Ducati,Honda for not selling out.
Webber 😂
I don't understand.. Why I wasn't invited? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great content Rea, with all superbike legends around, keep it up ✌✌
cuz you're running on streets
Would’ve been nice if they filmed more track action instead of pit lane and getting a hair cut.
Who was the guy who lost his virginity?
Buddy gave you the worst skin fade ever
