@@Nowaha. 3D doesn't mean it takes longer to make, what takes time is the animations, the graphics, the AI and all the little details they add. And all of those things create bugs that make the development even longer
tbh im the same and its actually harder to be serious than to keep smiling, like I cant change my face and have to think and try really hard to change my smile into a serious one because even been I think im serious im freaking smiling xd
I can tell you could make a even better game in 10 minutes, but let's face it, you're a teacher, you're here to teach us things, so you explained a lot. If you did this without giving any explanation, you'd finish it in probably 6 or 7 minutes. Which proves your point even more. Nice video.
The original game probably took way longer because they are coming up with the gameplay mechanics. Brackeys didn't have to think creatively about anything in this challenge as he was replicating the already built game.

he did have time to do it because he had all he needed on his left monitor.. Thats easy.. I can do it in 5 minutes if so. I just copy and paste everything after I made my first try without speedrun.. LOl what a crap video. Just for money and view.
Both VS and Unity take like 18 minutes to full load on my PC and take like 87% of my RAM. So I changed to ROBLOX Studio until I get a better PC, it's nice, it's easier than Unity, but games are lower quality.
u can find these sets and full keyboards if u google wasdkeyboard. there are plenty of other sources .. ebay amazon.. these are cherry MX caps for mechanical keyboards. i have some in white with hearts and symbols from the zelda game .. :)

For all people that have problems with the rotation of the Hexagons: Try to use instead of "rb.rotation = Random.Range(0f,360f) ;" in the Hexagon Script this: transform.rotation = Quaternion.Euler(0, 0, Random.Range(0f,360f)); This should work hopefully :) ! Im not sure, but I think if it works the rb (Rigidbody2D) reference in the Hexagon Script is unnecessary x)
On the right monitor he uses unity, on the left he has split screen, visual studio on one side, file explorer on the other to easily edit the scripts/files
