When I first started I watched a lot of tutorials on UA-cam for Unity. I also just googled anything I didn't know how to do and usually found a solution. As for staying persistent as you could see in this video I basically just started new projects when I got a new idea and worked on it until I got bored or another idea instead. I am in the second year of my programming journey (I also started in unity when I was 14) and I hope it goes as well as it did for you, also those were some pretty cool projects, and I can really relate to how you made your projects.
I’m 13 years old and I started programming in unity and I hope I will be as good as you some day and maybe you will hear about me some day as a good programmer ( I’m sorry if my English isn’t perfect I’m from Poland 🇵🇱 so I’m still learning it ) have a nice day .
That year I installed unity for the first time in my laptop too but got too lazy to make the effort to learn how to make games. I was too afraid of wasting my time for nothing. Now I'm studying something else (totally unrelated) but your video is a perfect example of what my own experience could have been. It's somehow motivational. Anyway, nice job. You have my sub! :D/
16 year old here, wanting to make my own game so I could relax in my own world, but I'm too scared to learn how to model, cuz i started watching blender tutorials last year but i had gotten too lazy to continue :(
Do not worry! I attended a C # course organized by a good friend of mine when I was 18 years old. Then my father who worked a lot at the time. He said he forbade me to take a bus there because I was just going to the city to drink and smoke. I have been drinking and smoking ever since but I have a regular job as a maintenance man. I wanted to be a programmer by heart and I am now 30 years old and I have a lot of work to do but I am still learning and practicing programming with it! Do not give up your dreams! My father realized late that he was wrong! Since then, he’s a disabled retiree and he’s asking me one or two logical programming bases because he doesn’t understand. I help him but he forever regrets not letting me study. If you think just show your parents this comment and I really hope they will understand!
was fun to watch, i started learning unity in april, currently im working on a game that i'm planning to release on mobile, i hope i ll get to finish it:D
Genuine question. I'm around your age I think (late 19 years old). I've programmed for about 2 months now. Never stepped inside of game dev though. Would you feel, if you were in my shoes, that you were starting way too late to start programming/creating games? I envy people who started early like you, and I personally feel really discouraged by it, like I'll never be able to catch up. Is there too much to learn where I'll just waste my time even trying, since I'm too old to learn in said time?
I don't think there is any right or wrong age to start programming/gamedev. Some people don't start programming until they are 50+ years old. Its never to early or late to start. There is always something to learn when programming. Its almost endless and no one knows everything even if they have years and years of experience. Just keep at it! Good luck! :p

Awesome work, this video was very inspiring. You are a great developer
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks!
I’m 13 years old and I started programming in unity and I hope I will be as good as you some day and maybe you will hear about me some day as a good programmer ( I’m sorry if my English isn’t perfect I’m from Poland 🇵🇱 so I’m still learning it ) have a nice day .
Nice! Good luck! :p
I’d love to see a multiplayer FPS remake!
Check out my channel! I am making a new one right now!
Thanks! You can always pick it up as a hobby some day.
I NEED to see a improved version of that autonomous car one, it seems so interesting!
I might work on it again some day
Is it just me who wants a remastered planetary pioneer
:p
This game is no mans sky but he made it in 2015 but no man's sky was made in 2016

It’s basically eve online
the side step just kill me ! keep it up
:p
Holy my mans could have been rich its basically no man's sky
lol, predicted the future! :p
This inspired me to look into making games! The coding looks so intense though. Is it difficult?
Its not that difficult once you get the hang of it. There are lots of coding tutorials right here on UA-cam. Good luck!
In the very early stages of learning javascript in a school class, you're a great motivation!
Happy to hear that! :p
I started Using Unity 3 Hours ago :D
Yay! Have fun!
Same. The only thing I know so far is how to make a cube move.
Make videos on your progress
@@Imbecomingreal i haven't make any progress yet :( things i know is just thing on the tutorial

5:49 He literally invented superhot here lol, Superhot released a month later.. He must have seen a trailer idk.
I saw Superhot when it was in alpha. So I was just inspired :p
You made a very simple version of the game super hot (your version think time) a year before super hot released. Really awesome work man
Thanks!
5:40 he made a prototype to the super hot game
Yep :p
16 year old here, wanting to make my own game so I could relax in my own world, but I'm too scared to learn how to model, cuz i started watching blender tutorials last year but i had gotten too lazy to continue :(
Yeah it takes a lot of work to make a game
Blender has a real intuitive modelling experience, but it is also highly advanced.
xzippyzachx, great video my guy
Thanks!
Can you make multi player FPS game for android pc
I am making a new multiplayer fps that is for pc
Great can’t wait to see it
Wow this guy Know unity better than me
I can barely make a cube move
The first time I used unity was in 2018
Nice!
damn bro. you have made better games in one year than i have in 2. keep it up
Thanks!
Nobody gonna talk about the fact that he literally created teslas self driving system before they did
:D
I wish I can afford a pc it’s my dream to be a computer programmer but my parents don’t really support it 🙁
Some day you will be able to! :p
Nice! Good Luck! :p
5:08 you needed to show epilepsy warning
Haha yeah there was a lot of lights!
No like literally 😂
“My code was getting messy so I got lazy and gave up.”
Story of my life.
Pretty much yeah lol!
Planetary Pioneer must be one of my favourite of your games! Great work!
Thanks! :p
@@xzippyzachx heyy!

Good luck! :p

I mean yeah! :p I do live stream and show my face. lol

Starting Godot as a sophomore and can appreciate the amount of time it takes for game dev. Good job on all of your projects!
Thanks! I need to try Godot engine at some point. I heard good things about it.
