You keep whining about 'Disney Writers' but the bulk of it was written by Ryan Reynolds. From the interviews he has done Disney was fairly 'hands off' with their notes. So your beef is really with Ryan Reynolds and his writing. Can't say that I'm in love with the constant salt. Not a great first impression for a new viewer.
You're right. In future videos, we will work on keeping our thoughts on the movie until after it ends. We love the Deadpool movies and this one included! It seems you guys were overly critical about the movie. Not to say you're not allowed to dislike the movie if you did. But, it did come across as too salty because perhaps you might be looking at this the wrong way. In terms of whether or not you felt that Disney just put everything in there just because they can, that is pretty much true for most films, but this does not apply the same way to this film because Deadpool & Wolverine, despite being a Marvel Studios film set in the MCU and distributed by Disney, is a self-contained story. Disney and Feige pretty much took a backseat for this movie, though they were still involved overall. This movie is supposed to be a "final bow" to the 20th Century Fox Marvel Era. If you noticed, 98% of the cameos in the movie are from the Fox era. Not counting the TVA, the only real MCU characters was Happy Hogan, and Hunter B-15. Even Chris Evans' cameo was as Johnny Storm, a Fox era character. The movie was written by Ryan Reynolds along with Rhett Rheese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, and Shawn Levy. Rhett and Paul also wrote the first two Deadpool films. The only new addition is Zeb Wells, who I suspect was most likely involved in adding all the comic and MCU lore bits/references, because he is comic book writer. (comic fans have a lot to say about him but that's for another day). Shawn Levy said that they tried as best as they could to make sure that it stays as a self-contained story. Shawn and Ryan made it very clear they don't want this film to be a commercial for another movie (a jab at pretty much all MCU films since Avengers). That's why there's no set-up in the post-credits scene. As for Hugh Jackman returning as Wolverine, he actually approached Ryan about wanting to return as Wolverine around the same time Ryan was about to tell Feige that the movie wasn't gonna happen since they still couldn't crack the story. But definitely see your point about it being a goodbye letter to the old characters. Just hope the future does these characters justice as we both love the originals
Per Ryan's interviews: Ryan had been trying to get Hugh to join him ever since the first Deadpool movie. The answer was always no. Then Hugh announced his retirement from playing Wolverine. That's when Ryan sent Hugh a copy of Deadpool 1, and watching that convinced Hugh to change his mind. Then he called Ryan and said that he was excited to be in Deadpool 3 if Ryan was still interested. It was great timing since Ryan was just about to talk to Feige and pitch ideas for the movie. Hugh said that Feige encouraged him NOT to return as Wolverine, by the way. But our boy Ryan went ahead and messed with Marvel/Disney's big plans for their own self-destruction. Also, regarding the writers, both of the previous writers for Deadpool were let go by Marvel, and then two Marvel writers (women, but I've forgotten their names) were assigned to help write Deadpool 3. Ryan wasn't having that, so the women were let go, and the two previous writers were brought back.
Fun fact: Tyler Mane, who played Sabertooth, is a retired professional wrestler. After training with Stu Hart in Canada and working the indies, he started with WCW, teaming with Kevin "Vinnie Vegas" Nash before moving onto the now defunct UWF after Nash left for the WWF. I also like to think 'pools comment about "driving angry" was a direct call back to the Bill Murray classic Groundhog Day, which had a scene with Murray's character trying to teach the titular groundhog how to drive, including the instruction, "Don't drive angry." That the truck in which they were riding was driven off a cliff before exploding should in no way detract from the groundhog's driving skills, which were deemed, "Not bad for a quadruped."

You seem to not understand the importance of TVA. Well it's hard for people with limited brain powers to understand. But tva was Ryans idea not the studios. And it's the best way to combine the fox universe.
Even with Ryan writing it we still just don’t like the TVA as a concept overall, it just gives easy cop outs for bringing characters across movies. Most of the movie we enjoyed though so apologies if it seemed like we didn’t
@@joshandcasey TVA is not just a copout to introduce characters if you finished the whole story of Loki you will understand it. TVA is metaphorically the writers of the stories within MCU. Just like comic book writers.

Sorry you felt that way. We will work on holding criticism till after the movie is over moving forward. Still enjoyed the movie though! Laughed quite a bit! Seems people just want to focus on the one 'TVA' criticism.
We are aware. We still thought it was hilarious. It was just clear to us that Disney had certain 'stipulations' about what needed to be included (or excluded). Compared to the first Deadpool which felt a bit more fresh. Still a fun watch though!
I really don’t care if someone doesn’t like a movie I like or vice versa. Movies are subjective. The issues are a few. 1. Boredom. There is no energy between you two. Everything that you say whether you like it or not, you both seem sleep. 2. Research. A lot of statements you’ve said weren’t true. You said Disney writers had something to do with it when it was 4 writers plus Ryan Reynolds. 2 for sure worked on the last two movies. Hugh Jackman actually came up with the idea of Deadpool and Wolverine meeting up after he saw the first Deadpool. 3. Don’t complain unless you can make it funny. When you complain without humor, you sound like you’re whining. 4. If the movie has to do with the comic book, 9.895 out of 10 those characters on screen probably are in the comic book. The only characters not in the book are Nicepool and a couple of the Deadpool corps.
You are right about the complaints. We will make sure to hold off on commentary until the movie is over going forward. In terms of boredom, we were both laughing quite a bit throughout and still found the movie very funny, so I am not sure where you felt that we were bored. We always do research afterwards. We just want a fresh reaction with little interruption. Hence why we don't do research beforehand / during. As for the writing, we know they wrote it but am sure Disney had a hand in it. We just didn't like those elements personally, but that doesn't mean it was a bad movie at all! We liked it.
Fair point. When I was saying I was bored, it wasn’t because I didn’t notice you were laughing. It’s because when you’re speaking period, there’s no energy. Good UA-cam examples are Octokrool, Media Knights, and Cinebinge to name a few. Remember you’re on a media platform. Entertain yourself and the people watching you. Not trying to pass any hate. Just showing love.
Damn! You guy’s level of saltiness about the TVA &/or the Loki series stuff is truly awe inspiring ffs!? 😅🤷♀️🤨Why!? I’m genuinely curious to know why &/or how you guys got to be so intensely opinionated on the matter? ……I very much enjoy it all….tho I have only a few tiny qualms with it but greatly enjoyed it otherwise 😉👍😅
We still really enjoyed the movie! We just dislike how everything has started becoming 'Disneyfied" as of late. It felt like a corporate attempt to push their TV shows and content from Disney plus. If you have never watched the shows, the whole plot line would make no sense. We just preferred the rawness of the first Deadpool. Granted, we will make sure to hold our thoughts till after the movie going forward.
Heads up - Channing Tatum grew up Deep South. This is an accent he grew up using. It’s actually correct. And did u have a problem with the bad girl being a girl? And English? She’s also from the comics. Most of what you’re ripping to bits is accurate. You decided to rip this up because it’s under Disney. I lost count of the times you said so. What a shame you just couldn’t enjoy it… you had to feel all superior. I’m sorry, the action is atrocious? Ok, I’m done with watching you two. You went into this hating it before it started. Oh wow, two men with bad opinions full of arrogance and know better than thou attitudes, what a surprise. Lighten up guys, it’s never that serious. As they say, not everyone needs a microphone in front of them 😂
@joshandcasey Ever thought to watch a recap video &/or Lore explanation &/or Timeline one by any chance?🤨 I’ve done so a lot so I can at least have the lore knowledge to be able to keep up with these storylines.😬 Cause imo going into a movie that’s part of such a huge universe and NOT understanding the most references as I possibly can, is a bummer and just kinda makes me sad really ☹️ Especially Deadpool movies…as you know that the majority of the movie is call backs and 4th wall breaks so the more you know, the more you’ll catch ffs! But without having to watch some of these shit movies/shows Marvel’s has put out recently 🤦♀️😅 A lot less time consuming and since there are sooo many videos like that…they are everywhere nowadays. Also…LOKI was absolutely freaking awesome my dudes !?☝️🤨 how dare you !😉👍😅

@@danielhead8123 he was good, but we may give the edge to Taylor kitsch (if he had done the accent of course)
The gambit in wolverine origins sucked ass
Why do you say that? I actually didn't mind it (just he didn't have the accent of course).
49:03 that’s the same line from the first blade movie. 49:25-49:29 nobody messes with blade. 49:48 😮
Ah, didn't catch that! Been a minute since seeing it!
Now I really hope Channing Tatum comes back as Gambit in the MCU solo film
Me too
Would not be surprised if it is in the works. How do you think Taylor Kitsch compares to Channing?
Nothing wrong with deadpools suit its just brighter colours more like the comic's
@@danielhead8123 nothing wrong at all
This is the first time I think I've come across reactors disliking the Loki series. Sort of surprised by that.
Wolverine is 5' 3" in the comics. Thus the "comic book accurate" quip. You guys are critiqueing this film like it's oscar bait rather than a fun ride that delivers.
@@Linerunner99 it was definitely a fun ride! We enjoyed it! Just felt the plot could be improved. However, we will hold off on any criticism till after the movie ends going forward. Thanks for watching!
4:48 They did. He’s literally listed in the credits as Dancepool.
49:40 The Russian (no other name given) was played by Kevin Nash in The Punisher (Thomas Jane version).
That's right! Good catch!
Your guys movie snobbery setting is set a little too high I think. It's a Deadpool movie. You think you could adjust it just a little bit for this
We will work on keeping our thoughts until after going forward. You are right. Nonetheless, we still loved the movie! Just it felt like Disney had to push it's shows and other things compared to the first Deadpool, which was more raw.

Only one of us hadn't seen it before (as stated at the beginning). But not sure which parts you are referring to?
Even thou chanun tautun done a great job...just imagined if a young jean claude vandam played gambit. Right around the time he done street figher and hard target.

6:48 The job interview scene is from 2018, so yeah, definitely before Endgame.
It's welshpool because ryan Reynolds brought a Welsh football team
yes! Wrexham A.F.C. i think.
there is a town called welshpool in wales too. a footballer played welshpool in the movie.
Must say first Deadpool was best just because you could see more of Ryan's gorgeous face . Other films he's been in are far better. Not really into Marvel or any comic book stuff only watched the 3 DP because ryan is in them. Loved Red Notice, The Adams Project, Free Guy,6 underground,The Nines,Smoking Aces far better films.
The opening song is by nsync
Indeed! We get out 90's boybands confused sometimes haha
Welshpool is an actual town in wales.
No way! That's fantastic!
Dogpool is kinda like the screaming goats in Thor: Love & Thunder, you either love it or hate it 🙂
lol very true!
Cassandra is in fact part of the xmen universe
Thanks for letting us know!
Read a comic, this is all accurate, Reynolds wrote 95% of this movie. Maybe read up on Deadpool and Wolverine and you can understand the things they do.
It seems people seem to be missing the fact that we really did enjoy the movie! It was a fun time! We just didn't personally care for the TVA plot element. Not sure why people are so upset by that? Though, admittedly, we will keep any criticism we have till the end of the movie in the future
Watch the behind the scenes and the bloopers.. Jackman is just as jacked. Unless they CGI'd that too. Doubt it.
He's definitely jacked. Just saw some videos out there of VFX artists talking about some 'enhancements' being done in post haha
Stopping early in the viewing. The “Disney-hate” groaning was just too thick throughout. React to the film, comment with opinions at the end. Moving on!
Wow you guys are negative. Not a reaction channel i will be subscribing to!
Sorry to hear that. While we did share our criticisms (which we will be holding back on going forward) we still laughed quite a bit and thoroughly enjoyed the movie!

This reaction was a struggle, and I gave up after 15 minutes.
Sorry you felt that way. We will work on holding criticism till after the movie is over moving forward. Still enjoyed the movie though! Laughed quite a bit! Seems people just want to focus on the one 'TVA' criticism.
This was written by Ryan. Watch the credits at least
@@JasonKennebrew-r1y we appreciate the honest feedback! We will definitely take your notes going forward. I think we both felt we laughed a lot haha

I’ve done so a lot so I can at least have the lore knowledge to be able to keep up with these storylines.😬
Cause imo going into a movie that’s part of such a huge universe and NOT understanding the most references as I possibly can, is a bummer and just kinda makes me sad really ☹️

A lot less time consuming and since there are sooo many videos like that…they are everywhere nowadays.
Also…LOKI was absolutely freaking awesome my dudes !?☝️🤨 how dare you !😉👍😅
@@sandrakiefler4649 haha agree to disagree. Certain elements were good, some were not. We just love Marvel in the days before Disney. Or as Ryan put it humorously in the movie, "Steady since Endgame".
@@joshandcasey Disney has owned Marvel Studios since before Iron Man 2 though. Every MCU project produced by Disney except Iron Man and Incredible Hulk, and they've all been overseen by Feige except for the Hulu YA shows. Some of the Phase 1 films were distributed by Paramount but they were already under Disney oversight from jump.
Saying that they've been "Disney-fied" since Endgame is factually wrong and some of their best/well loved projects (WandaVision, No Way Home, Moon Knight, Shang Chi, Guardians 3) have been post-Endgame. Not saying everything has been great -- Secret Invasion and Quantumania were definitely subpar -- but there's been a lot of good stuff since Endgame.
