It's got slice marks from where Laura was trying to carefully cut it off the tree that impaled Logan. One is shallow from her first cut, too gentle, a deeper one from the second where she tried harder, but still too gentle, and the third where she just screamed and hit it hard to get him off of the tree. We had already seen her sever metal limbs from the cyborg hitmen earlier in the movie. A tree branch should have been easy to cut. She was trying not to hurt Logan further to get him loose.
Yes, he was married to Andie McDowell who just played Arthur's (Joker's) attorney. He was recently in Scream VI. His best role to me was Dirty Steve in Young Guns: "Hey dawg, dawg. . .You see the size of that chicken!?💥 😆😂🤣 The horse was even like "😰What the hell dude!!?"
