I normally don’t love micro brands but this watch is clean. I love the bracelet and the knurling on the crown. That case back engraving is fire too

At first glance, it very "Globemaster-esque," but with all it's own style. Excellent gift idea. Then again....15 years from now, when his collection is verging on 25 different pieces and his bank account is minus $78,000, and his then wife is saying to him...."Do you really NEED another watch?!?".....he may not be thanking you. 😄It's both a blessing and a curse...cheers

@@BrandonMenancio To be honest - i think its pure watch snobbery (also of myself in this case 🤦🏼♂️). In the end it always depends on how a movement is regulated.
The Miyota 9 series is on par with the Seiko 6R series. It has a smoother sweep and usually thinner as well.

That's a good looking watch, Brandon. I personally went with Nodus (another American brand) around that price range, but this is nice. Enjoyed the review, as always. Would like to know more about the bracelet, though. Orion doesn't give much info on it. Looking forward to the next video..

You nailed it! Love it. Your little big brother is a lucky guy! Overall the watch looks absolutely rock solid while maintaining the perfect size. I really like the unique bracelet design. Since it doesn't appear to taper, how does it wear and is the clasp bulky at all? As for the hands--they look like great--sort of a cathedral/syringe hybrid. Rock solid inside to: The 9015 is no slouch, and I'd take it over an NH35 any day in this price range. As one SBGJ235 owner to another, keep up the great work!
Thanks for tuning in! I totally forgot to record more of the bracelet. I didn’t have the watch long. When I tried it on it felt great in the wrist. The clasp is large, but didn’t bother me. The bracelet felt really light and comfortable. Sbgj235 baby!

Talk about brands not doing in-house movements… another O brand (Oris) buys a TON of Sellita movements. Also, the Miyota 9015 movement is an upgrade from the NH 35 and not all that far off from the 2824 clones…
