"You're gonna tip him over!"
"We have a winch Jamie, it's no big deal"
Matt, I respect your ability to send it lmao.
They shouldn't have attemped a rescue without Ed.
Lol correct answer yes dear I will be more careful.
Only time I've ever seen Matt in a bad mood. He's human after all. Quickly apologised. Now there's man with good character. Don't ever change Matt. You're a great man!
Well why don't you just marry the man then
@@stewybrooks Why don't you
I knew something was up with Matt, he’s always been calm collected under any amount of pressure, always having a laugh and a giggle.
He’s a much bigger man than most as he apologised AND on camera.
Total respect for you and if I lived in America, I’d love to work for you.
Matt: "I think I'll take the day off. My guys can handle everything just fine".
2 Hours later: "Matt! Come rescue us!" LOL

That's the life of a small business owner - getting calls on your day off that something broke.
What day off?
"I am sorry Randy"
"For what"
"Losing my cool when you guys sucked at this"
Lol.
That was the best damn comment I have heard in years.
Man this one was gold! Lol
This is a time when you'd like for youtube to have laugh emojis! That one was emoji worthy! 😂😂😂
And I don't sweat much for a fat guy.
Best apology ever! You owned your actions, while diplomatically, tactfully, reprimanding your crew. Great video, as always.
“You see him come around that corner on two wheels?”
I died laughing!
You know Matt is dressed all fancy-schmancy when he has the pink Winder hat on. Must've been a special date with the Missus.
That’s why he was cranky.

Sadly like some people's normal.
Worst I’ve seen him
You know you’re a good man when when you just barely get normally upset about something, but even that is so out of CHARACTER that you immediately apologize about it. THAT’S how you get up to an enormous audience on UA-cam.
He is one of the most competent comidians ........ in the business. I think JOE Rogan........ is worried, mmmm, maybe not. ......

Yes Bob :::::: You are driving force --your own self.... Practical advice... Logically appplied. thank You....
I just hope Matt charged that customer real good for the recovery. Cause frankly, I find it freaking insane that he has to even have to do that. People need to keep their vehicles on the road where they belong, pickups were never made to be rock crawlers and stream crawlers. I don't feel bad for the customer at all, cause he's a grade A moron. But I do feel bad for Matt and his recovery machines.
Hey fancy meeting you here! Love your videos!
Jamie: He almost rolled over be careful! Matt: “we have a winch Jamie it’s not that big of a deal” absolutely had me cracking up!!! Thank you for that.
4x4’s allow you to get out further before getting stuck
And cost more👆🏻
@@williamskinner896 well, ya get what you pay for.
Unless your matt I'm pretty sure he could take a the banana anywhere he wants to go.
The other part of that problem is 99% of stock 4x4s are not off road capable. None of them come stock with locking diffs. Most are posi trac or open diff whick you might as well not even have 4x4 with. So yeah it will get you about 20 ft further but if you build your axles right you can go where you want.
Watch the Jeep when he starts out one wheel is spinning the other is stopped locked up axles would never let that happen. Got to have locking diffs
Breaking stuff while the boss is away is always a good career move.
4x4s break, it’s not their fault that Jeep is rode hard and put away wet
Ryan needed a little love there. Good on you Matt for giving the guys grace, eventually. That’s a great team. Cherish what you’ve built.
@@KRISJAHPPR88 that’s too bad. Thanks for the info. Fame and money is not everything it appears.
I died a little inside when they tried to start that ranger without checking anything under the hood...
Same here..... would have been smarter to empty the airbox and pull out the wet filter. Probably would have fired right up.
Jared Lazaron yea he said the battery shorted out ..I was thinking the cylinders filled up with water
Hydrolocked it right up. That wasn't a battery issue.
@@chevyman288 Hydrolocked it for sure.
As someone with a ranger, they hydrolock like all kind of hell, so that's a pretty safe bet. Good thing the motors are basically bulletproof and dont care.
“Did you see him come around that corner on two wheels” 😂🤣😂🤣😂 Holy shit that got rowdy once Matt showed up 😂
I feel guilty for laughing so hard. Matt is hilarious when he's irritated. I aspire to be so calm when things aren't going well.
I feel like this video went back to the roots of the channel. Appreciate you showing everything that's going on, the successes the failures, and less cuts in between scenes.
So glad I found this channel, love the videos! It’s a new gold mine of entertainment! Keep posting while I watch these old videos!
This video really just shows how damn good Matt is at what he does.
I see the problem - they guys brought the right equipment and the energy of youth but forgot Ed for some wisdom

No. You don`t leave that dirty ranger in that river with that nice clean, clear water. Nice to see there`s a stream that`s not poluted yet.

Lol I was looking for this message
...and the airbox, probably gulping water in from every which way.
the water is not even over the bumper, way below the air intake and the heads are well above the water line for water to be any risk of getting in from the exhaust
Yep that was the sound of an engine hydrolocking.
Does anyone else get just as mad as Matt when they run over the rope?? I start yelling at my computer screen, haha.
You're one of my favorite UA-camrs I wish you all the success in the world keep making people smile and doing what you do.
I dont think you need to tell anyone to stick around to the end. Anyone watching this channel is all about it. I just found it a day ago and Ive been watching it endlessly since.

"We've got a winch, Jamie, it's not a big deal!" That's one for the t-shirts.
No, it definitely isn't. Funny how so many commentators think that every single thing, no matter how unamusing is a great suggestion for a t-shirt.

Millennial Falcon. I think that's the one that wants a trophy for just attempting the Kessel run.
wasnt the millennial falcon parked next to the interplanetary pinto??? :-)
6:45 Dude shouldn’t have tried to start the vehicle while it most probably had water in engine. It was almost out anyways IMHO. Hope the engine survived. Who is that guy btw.????
It turned over, at that point it wasn't hydaruliked. but if a vehicle has gone that far in, check oil and air filter for contamination.
Anytime a motor stalls due to suspected water.
Must take off air cleaner to check for moisture. If yes
Check oil
Pull spark plugs and fuel pump relay and crank it. This ejects water from the cylinders. Then put it all back together.
This is the best way to salvage an engine after deep water.
Then change every other fluid.
@@51WCDodge It will turn over few times even if there is water inside the engine. Both of those vehicles had their exhaust inside water.
@@bannedone3ice138 yes, my classic one was following a Unimog in a Land Rover 109. Oh the water is only half way up his wheels! Fortunatley the God of Lost Causes was looking the other way. I hadn't even put it in 4 wheel drive. :-)
Good to see people that have the ability to think through an issue and work a problem in the world. You're a good crew.
LOL Good old Ed tuning around and smiling at Randy, priceless.
I think he's looking at Randy and saying with his eyes, "the boss has had a couple"!
"That AC is really just for the front seat ?" 🤣 Great recovery Matt ! 👍😎🤦♂️
Crazy to see how much you've come in the past 2 years...from just the basically stock tangerine and banana to massively improved versions of those, the Morrvair, the Samurai, and the heavy Wrecker...
Matt needs to make a map of the area so guys can take their stock vehicles to get them stuck.. Amazing where guys will take them not thinking about getting out. Great job team Matt
I don't think I've ever seen Matt in the backseat of the banana or any vehicles. Lol now he knows the backseat doesn't get any of the AC. Thank you for putting up these videos as often as you do. I look forward to your daily adventures. How is the Covair coming along?
Ha! One of the best ones I’ve watched, good humor, dramatic irony, and some great one liners! That water looked cold!!! 😆
Added your channel to my list of true binge worthy youtube, thanks for all the great content. It's satisfying watching you solve these complex problems on the fly, its tow surgery.
Man Matt’s a good dude, coming to the rescue in the goin to town shirt!
That Babylon trail aint too bad, but going river rafting in a Rubicon? HAHA ... Anyways along this trail is two large sloped rock walls covered in dinosaur tracks, and then a petroglyph panel which includes what appears to me to be 2 Spanish Explorer glyphs, one of a small horse, and the other a Jerusalem Cross (same as the cross seen on old Spanish gold coins) basically a large "plus" sign with T tops on each arm. These may attract more customers for Matt.
"Matt makes this look easy, UA-cam is gonna find out how tough this stuff really is"
Proceeds to royally mess everything up and needing Matt to come and save them, and he does, and makes it look easy...
Well, he wasn't wrong. And Matt is a class act! everyone gets frustrated every now and again, and when you're having to rescue your employees and your customers on your day off because your Jeep breaks down on a 100F+ day I'd be a bit snappy aswell. And he still apologized to the guys for his bad attitude..
Bossman is fully responsible for the quality of the tools used .............. I think the boys need defending , they basically did the recovery , and then the old banana let them down......
I would just like to thank you and your crew for hours and hours of wholesome entertainment.
I would literally move from Kentucky if I could work with Matt every day. He’s such a great guy and he’s hilarious
I remember a time when we used to "clear fell" scrub towing a chain between two Cat D9's. It's now done with a "Yankum rope" between a "Yellow Banana" and a Ford pickup...
Don’t think trying to start it when it was nose down was a great idea.
Ya, hoping it was flat.
At least check oil for contamination , open air filter and check , spray with water displacer, or in that heat just leave for 20 minutes. Then if no nasty signs , turn over.
@@51WCDodge Pull spark plugs before turning over as well

Love how the old XJ Jeep is always coming to the rescue and saving all these newer jeeps
Justin York
Lol!!! Your comment says it all, and then some. It pretty much sums up what is wrong with Jeep today. The big wigs at Jeep don't appear to know what they're doing, how they're doing, or even why they're doing it - at all.
I drive a lifted 2wd, I've saved way more JKU's than their owners want to admit.
The old jeep is custom made to rescue others 4x4 trucks or suv. That been said. The old Jeep has different suspension.gear ratio differential is different. Bigger tires and so on. So is not stock.
Honestly life would be so much better if everyone had this entire crew’s good attitudes. I’m sure they get frustrated and upset at times, but they can laugh it off and stay United. Matt For President!!!!
This is one of my favorite channels. It you ever want voice over work done let me know dude! 👍 Like a Mike Rowe type narration here and there throughout. Love it man!
So, this is what happens when you give Matt caffeine.
Its gotta be hard trying to use somebody else's cobbled together equipment as an employee.
Then to have them say you abused the equipment when all it ever gets is abuse. That’s like using a hammer with a taped up cracked handle isn’t it? Then getting a rash of shit when the tape and zip ties break using it as a hammer! 😂
Totally. Looks like the crew did a fine job...it was the work on the yellow jeep that failed. Take some responsibility if your work failed in the field, whether or not you were there
@@niceortwice6044 i believe matt took responsibility in the video while in the jeep, saying his work is always in a compromised state.
You’ve said a mouthful, I used to have that job !
Yeah especially when the brake caliper bracket was welded by Matt. Having anything like that is straight up illegal in my country and while it may be legal to have that kind of stuff on the road in USA Matt should be buying parts designed, tested and certified by a real engineer for vehicles he has his employees driving. Super thankful my country has sane laws around this stuff, would hate to lose a loved one to an accident caused by an unsafe DIY modification. You can modify cars here but they need to be engineer certified.
I grew up on a farm & ranch & we used to pull out 18wheelers loaded with 42 round bales on 56’ 3 axle drop deck trailers & 55’ X 102” cattle trailers stuck in sand & sometimes we could pull items out with a JD4440MFWD however later on we would use JD 8960 articulation w/triples or D9 if we could get it in , but in the 60’s & 70’s we used the Farmal M or a JD 4020 but we always took great care when pulling & we never pulled people out commercially only other farmers or ranchers. But our family farms had been farming & ranching since 1881 & we never were allowed to pull anyone out that wasn’t farming or ranching & stuck due to legitimate reasons, and during harvesting time we were always 24/7 so we took great care to always be hooked on, in case a cotton module or other apparatus ignited, many times we pulled other tractors, farm 18wheelers, etc with dozers of available, MFWA tractors or 4x4 farm tractors and we had to work under stressful & extremely dangerous conditions. But this I learned from growing up in the 60-70’s, and it got to where at times it was only myself in a farm 18wheeler & my young sister in a JD 4x4 w/an implement, but we however all the children grew up on the farm & we could adapt improvise innovative to whatever dilemma we were caught up in & we weren’t even 15 yet but we’d pull out our own vehicles & since I can remember we always had Motorola farm radios even in mother’s Jeep Wagon. But I never to this day ever did 4-wheelin since we depended on all our farm pickup, and also they were always 1ton dual wheel w/flat farm beds & toolboxes & our Willeys Jeeps were handed down since the 40’s & had PTO military winches & all our farm trucks had Detroit Lockers & a PTO winch in the bed & a 24K hydraulic winch on the front brush guard , but I always wanted to purchase at least one electric winch like what you fellas use, but since I always was around huge farm 4x4 farm trucks & tractors, I always wanted a Z28 or TransAm, I never thought about taking a truck on a date, I would use mother’s Jeep Wagon or Plymouth GrandFury we purchased from government auctions, but I always worked at buying a sports car, so in 1979 when I got my agriculture drivers license at 15, I purchased a beautiful 1976 black transam w/a 403 Pontiac 4 on the floor . I paid $3888, and it had about 60K miles , it had round head lamps, it was a few years older than the Smokey & the Bandit car on the big screen, but I put alumacoat Blackjack headers & a descent cam & great manifold & 750 double pumper, and I smoked fellas with new corvettes, but hardly raced it because I was making payments on the loan I got just to put the great radial tires & all the goodies for 3.5 K , but I bought the car with my savings, so I always took care of it & sold it for $7870 in 1984.
