this is the finish product, it's possible that those tools are used during the proofing of the behavior. Those are good tools in the hands of a great trainer btw
Funny how people talk about different dog breeds and how aggressive they are but not 1 person noticed what was going on even with the cameraman. I'm guessing some of them have dogs too. Lol. The 1 dog noticed just as I was about to turn off the video. 🤣🤣
My shepinois pup walks just like him, has the exact same gait. I thought there was something wrong with him cos I thought he'd move like a gsd. The vet looked at him and asked if he's a malinois cross breed i said he is and she said well that explains everything. She thought he was a bit under weight but his body is more malinois than gsd and he's more stocky than a malinois.
Awesome! Love how well behaved he is...even passing a few other dogs barking at him he doesn't even flinch! Next time ask him to walk on the wall next to you. 😁
Did you have a collar or leash in your pant pocket ??? what a Obediendent dog, he trust you, and you must indeed trust him, How old is he ? How long have you had him ? has he ever bite anyone ?
Great video. Do you think a Belgian or Dutch Shepherd could be trained to safely mountain bike off leash on uncrowded trails mid week? I’m currently researching breeds for family pet, obedience, agility, hiking, mountain biking, and bikejoring. I’m leaning towards a German Shorthaired Pointer. But my wife wants a dog that can be protective while on hikes and when I’m working at night and she’s home alone. The only experience I’ve had is with Rottweilers. But I want a more active breed. And also a medium size dog that is agile and can run for long distances. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. FYI, I’m years away from getting a dog.
If my dog wasn't reactive I could do this - can't trust her to make good decisions if a stranger gets too close to her (or me) though :/ I only let her offleash in the countryside away from other people. If people approach she goes back on leash until they are past us.
Same with my pup, he's reactive to everything on the lead that I wouldn't dare take any chances off it. Funny though off the lead he sticks to me unless there's a dog then he wants to play but he's never taken any interest in cats.
Our training is primarily +R based. If needed we are very comfortable using other approaches depending on various circumstances but the main objective is always the same - a happy comfortable dog that knows how to behave in public and at the same time have fun. Excellent behaviour, and all without an e-collar, or a prong collar. Love it!
Thank you 🥂

Loved when he walked by the leashed dogs and she had to say something about hers.

my maligator would have gone up to everyone to say hi and see what they were eating.
Amazing. That Mal was so well behaved yet his head was up the entire time and his eye last 100% alert. Scanning everything. How old?

Look into a Israeli Cannan Dog or South Korean Jindo.
