In my 20's I had an Irish Setter that learned to walk next to me w/o a leash. I could even run n she stayed right there n lightly bumped my leg about every third or fouth step. All my pals who knew setters were super impressed with our skills
Awesome dog and training. I would add that it's more likely a stranger is going to come up and pet the dog without asking, or while unattended than randomly throwing food at it. :D Would be good for the demo to show that.
Love seeing shots like this, as that's me a few years ago with my dog Thunder. So looking forward to getting back out there and shaping a new dog in my life.. First thing that comes up beside the normal imprinting with Food and Toys, Potty training and such, is what I call "people places and things.." Familiarity with as many things as I can put him through, towards building a well-balanced social animal. This is critical for his future growth and training.. It will be what we are up to much of the first six months of his life and beyond. As any trainer worth their salt will tell you, it never stops.. For someone like me, you are always working your dog.. Great feel to this one Ivan Balabanov Whats the old saying "a picture speaks a thousand words.." #GoodStuff !
***** Well deserved my friend, when it's good training it's good training.. My guy is doing well by the way. Getting him into IPO, wish there was more Ring support in my area but it's far and few between out my way. A lot harder to put the tittles on the dog and get the job done with Ringsport, without a lot more travel and such. Increases your cost overall to get the job done. Time and cost in travel etc. Meaning I have decided to go towards IPO with my guy instead of Ring.. (My gut and instincts would love to get into Ringsport, but the support overall here in the states just isn't there yet, I hate to say..) Last few months I've been getting my feet wet with Sch and have finally decided on a club in my area. I sign up with a club and pay my dues this weekend in fact.. Keep an eye on my posting, more to follow on this front as we go through the year I'm sure.. Thanks again for chiming in Ivan, it is appreciated.. MF.
It's nice to see a dog actually taken out where there are unexpected things, such as that dog, and completely off leash. See a dog performing in the real world, what it'll have to do with a real family. Also, nice to see no e-collar either.
Just a quick question but I notice most Belgian malinos videos when the dogs at heel they look up at the trainer constantly is this because of food based training Great to see a well trained dog
i’m 2 months late but it could be treats or training style, But in this moment you could say it’s a training style becuase dogs like the malinois are very big on eye contact to know what to do becuase without it they are left clueless of what their owners want
Serious Inquiry: How would the dog respond if, when it was lying down on the other side of the crosswalk unattended, a child or unthinking adult ran up to pet it? Not looking to offend, discredit or upset anyone, truly just curious what response one could expect from the pupper.
Very impressed with your training..Quick Question? Why are the dogs in most videos always breathing heavily like they need water? Is it hot where you are? or did they just finish a training regime before video shoot?
impressive dog, impressive training ruined by poor video. Shaky footage, poor editing (especially the background noise and the choice of music. Horrible overall but amazing dog!
That girl dropped food, and he didn't even look at it. That's training!
My dog do it easily
@@Masterdogacademy how
My dog does it extremely easily. Just gotta put time on him.
An amazing breed, the Malinois. Higly trainable and very intelligent.
Yessirrr
Anyone wanting a dog should take the time to consider the importance of training..and how it makes having a dog so pleasurable....great video.

The girl dropping food was part of it
Fantastic, such control!!!!!!!

Ayla Aktan thanks
***** Yep, how are your dogs around other animals? Such as horses, cats, little animals? (Family ferret per say)
They can cost as much, if not well over, a nice care.

Dogs are individuals and different dogs will react different. Some dogs this would t be some to do with
Great work
are your dogs trained in bite/protection as well?
My Belgian would have failed the biscuit drop test!
Mine too! And the walking off leash!

Malinois dogs are double coated, like most shepherds and from the traffic and palm trees, I'd say this is LA or some southern Cali city.
@@loganhuff4657 Mals come from Belgium where it usually isn't hot. They were also kept outside in winter
Good point
Very nice👌
Gotta love St. Pete
Best trainning 💖💖
very nice n amazing. Hi, please how to train it all if Malinois from the age of 3 months? Can you show you a video on how the training?
How much does this dog price
How about a kitty cat or squirrel as a distraction. When I see no response- I’ll be impressed.
My dog does
Did you instruct that woman to drop that food for your dog? If not, I would have been pissed.
Im sure that was part of the training.
Training what’s gets best of you
The sausage did not eat strong intelligence
The tittle say Protection trained Belgian demostration only i saw very good obedience but nothing protection demostration.
Wowww
untouchable
Wow. Dog is stuck to him.
She looks thirsty
Your dog is sooooo good but... Off leash, no!
Obviously the dog works well off the leash. No reason to put them on one if they're obedient enough to listen.
Can I buy the dog because he good s I going to rob him
