I was also there, standing very near the stage, maybe 15 or 20 feet from Robin. It was fantastic and it sounded great. He is a living legend and it was honor to see him play again. I think it was my 7th RT concert.
Wow ... that's a lot of Trower concerts! I think the last time I saw him was in the `80s ... but what an honor it was to see him again. He plays with such passion and soul. The vocalist was really good ... but no one can replace James Dewar, God rest his soul.

Robin puts on a great show ...and listen to this you can tell the vocals were mixed horribly !!! Richard is such a great singer !!! I will always miss Jimmy Dewar ...and I loved Davey Pattison as well !!!
Fantasic concert ... have always loved Trower, but the house audio was horrible. It was the Mic's mids that were badly overdriven. I had to leave after an hour.
JR Bird I agree. They had his mic just saturated as hell and he's a good singer, sounds just like the original guy. I kept thinking that the sound guy would fix it but he never really did. It did get a little better but... Robin Trower himself was truly amazing as this video clearly shows
It was horrible sound ...that night ......they had no idea how to mix trower !!! .....but I loved his show and Richard Watts is a fantastic singer ...he does the songs justice ...but so did Davey Pattison ....
Greg Henderson The vocals sounded awful. He is such a great singer but the sound guys had him saturated on the front end and he was distorted as hell although he wasn't very loud. The Center Stage is a easy room to mix too. Overall though, the show was great besides that. Robin Trower was awesome!

Greg Henderson i saw this show in Indy last friday and couldn’t believe how crappy the sound was. I still loved watching Robin play tho.
