I am once again so sorry for the video being so late. This week has been crazy! I've been filming and editing a bunch of videos for you guys 😊
I made the crazy decision to bleach my own hair, and it actually turned out really good! Please note that I am not a professional and only did this for fun (and because I really wanted platinum hair)... I recommend going to a professional if you want any sort of bleaching service done to you hair! I did months worth of research before I did this!

I’ve been doing hair for a while and can I just say you literally did your research and freaking killed this. That’s all people need to do and it’ll go a long way!! Especially since your hair had a history, you understood how to work around it and avoid over processing it just from simply watching videos and researching. Love it queen

I've been doing my hair platinum at home for a while now and I have a couple tips. Sometimes it just looks a little orange when it's wet. When you dry it, it will look less orange. I would have recommended not putting more bleach on top of the orange. Thats what the toner is for. I think it would've turned out better with wella T28 as your toner or T18. I personally prefer the T28. It looks beautiful on you anyway:)
hey, thanks for the tip. however the toner wouldn’t have fixed the orange in my hair as it was pretty dark! it lightened up enough after the second bleach to get toned to my desired colour 🥰
If your hair is orange that means you didn’t bleach it enough. Toner will not get rid of orange. Ever.

That really turned out great.
You should of recorded how you mix the wella 14
1 bottle of toner then fill it up 2 times with 20 developer
you just add the toner to developer in a 1:2 ratio :)

How did you know what volume to use and and what toner to do I’m not blonde I’m more a brown blonde and want to be blonde blonde but idk what volume to get
20 vol is typically safe unless your hair is suuuper damaged. mine wasn’t so that’s what i used ! you can always go in with a second round of bleach if it isn’t light enough after processing, but i think that’s a lot safer than going in with 30 or 40 and frying your hair off accidentally

I want to bleach half my hair when i growup, but i feel like it'll feel really patchy.. does your hair feel sorta patchy?
what exactly do you mean by patchy? like does it look patchy or does it feel dry and damaged?

it felt a little dry at first, but i did multiple hair masks and treatments for my hair and as of right now it feels healthier than ever :)

Girl it looks great but think a more white creamy toned blonde would look better with your natural skin tone but still good! I can't stand getting my hair done at a salon anymore all I hear is it will take two to three sessions to get you there which is complete bullshit. I'm a level 6/7 dark blonde and been a light blonde my whole life but my old stylist moved to take care of her mom so finding someone else that actually knows what they're doing and not scared of bleach is impossible these days smfh

What do I do, my roots are yellow. The ends are white?
your roots might need to process longer with the bleach, you can try to do a second round of bleach with a lower volume developer until it turns banana colour
T18 Wella toner with 20 developer
It cancels out the yellow

What did it feel like while it was processing did it feel hot. I'm fixing to do this I've researched forever. I'm so nervous. Saw one girl getting hers bleached at a salon and she said it felt like a sunburn and the woman doing it just kept going. That's why I asked so if it's supposed to feel that way I won't freak lol
