You're good in front of the camera bud. Nice use of the file to debur the hubcentric part of the axle to get the rotor in place. I think most people would resort to some form of plug in tool to gnarl everything up. Even though your drums worked great for "one" hard stop, the disc rear will help with repetitive hard stops.
Hey also an FYI- Strap those axle hardlines down to the housing as tight as you can with very large zipties- I would suggest the large "handcuff" style zipties that will not break. If those lines vibrate up and down as you drive even a tiny bit they will develop into leaks in no time.
Ive done 4 of these change overs. Just cut the backing plates off. Alot less work and take less time to do these awitch overs. The only time i pull the axkles now. Is to do seal xhanges
Hi guys, I have a question about the haynes brake system, I need to bleed my truck 1995 c3500, however no oil is going to the rear drums, do I need to have that tech 2 scanner do bleed it?

I would slap pads then shoes , they work great on my 1991 GMC 1500.

May I suggest an adjustable proportioning valve to finish this off.
