Love the editing. I enjoyed the tape a lot. As you put it very uneven with the vibes but it’s a tape abs more unpolished then his albums BUT the highs on this one are next level. Summertime blood, trip, bliss, starz2therainbow, all the things, and what seems to be a underdog waterfall has a amazing ambience to it. Thx for the video Matt

I actually think poison ivy was the most cohesive project by yung lean despite it being a mixtape. Overall I like the direction but I wish it was more cohesive and it was hard for me to enjoy some of his singing. Also Dec 24 makes a great background noise lol
It's awesome you like Yung Lean too. He's a gifted artist and I'm glad he never went the mainstream route. Hopefully he'll force the mainstream to branch out and try new stuff. I'd like to see that for sure. Also the other artists going the same route. It's an amazing time to be alive in some ways.

I enjoyed it, especially Thaiboy and Ecco.
after listening the album a couple of times and exploring it well, i think the songs that most people have problems with like gold, starz2therainbow, waterfall, letting it all go, visions, they work much better in the album context. as standalone they are kinda weird or empty feeling, but listening them in between the bangers, bliss, trip, all the things, lips, summertime blood they make more sense. they are the a small break to make the highs even higher. lean definitely has better songs than anything in this album but I think it is his best album to date. there are no fillers, every song fills a purpose and just works one after the other. also i love the duration of every song, everything gives you something new without overstaying its welcome.
