As a black man who was a huge fan of Tha Boondocks, it's actually refreshing to see Blu's shocked and stunned reaction to the dialogue in the show. It's as entertaining as the characters.

I loved this show, my first episode I was 17 and it was guess hoes coming to dinner
White, hispanic, black, asian, dont matter. This show is off the chain, everyone loves it except woke people. Shame it didnt continue.

Boondocks is a one of a kind I don't know of any show that is this funny but also talks about the type of things it does sometimes have a serious tone or message.
Wow! I never thought of The Boondocks being similar to South Park, but it makes sense. Both South Park and The Boondocks touched social & cultural issues on an intellectual yet humorous level

One of the things I loved about Boondocks was that it's one of the few, if only American "for adults" cartoons with high quality animation and lifelike character designs, instead of deliberately bad/simplistic designs. Yet it's comedy and insight is still sharp. Truly a show gone too soon. Also the frame @9:09 is taken straight from Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon. Boondocks' style was heavily influenced by martial arts films and anime.
All I can tell you, Miss Blu, is buckle up!! 😅
