thanks for watching everyone! I'm not sure if I'll do more full album reactions (still figuring out my channel's "thing") but I wanted to make this as a thank you to everyone who watched my videos (bladee specifically) and has supported me so far. It really means a lot. Here are the timestamps for everyone on mobile: My Agenda: 1:20 Yayo: 3:17 Boylife in EU: 5:27 Violence: 7:03 Outta my Head: 7:55 Dance in the Dark: 9:50 Acid at 7/11: 11:50 Starz: 13:45 Hellraiser: 16:50 Butterfly paralyzed: 18:10 Dogboy: 19:57 Iceheart (my fav reaction): 21:40 Pikachu: 23:40 Low: 24:05 Sunset Sunrise: 26:30 Put me in a Spell (second fav lol): 27:45 Final thoughts: 29:40
Fun fact: When lean Said ”janitor Lean i found keys to all the locks” in acid at 7/11, he was referring to hurt that he did 2013 where he said ” got keys but i’ll never find the lock”. Pretty cool.
like the 12th time i wach this now, this makes me love this album EVEN more some how! dont really have any friends who like Lean so reacting with u is nice, somehow the 12th waching this i almost cryed, LEAN IN MY HEAART
im fucking tilterally crying over this reaction. When the plugs hit in dance and the dark, while seeing how genuine your reaction is made every fucking hair on my body stand up, and made tears flow outta my eyes. This is the reason i love watching music reviews, to be able to feel that first listen again, through somebody else. Its amazing man, thank you so much.
Great hearing positive drain reactions from someone who’s been listening for years! Seems like most bladee/sadboys reactions positive or negative are by reviewers who have just recently heard of them and know little to nothing about them. Subscribed!
Nice reaction! Starz got me emotional too, and that BEAT got me wanting to walk among the stars. This album really shows how much he has grown as an artist at just the age of 23. Keep up the good work!
I loved it because every single one of your reactions were just like the emotions I felt while listening to Starz: sometimes funny, sometimes really depressing and like introspective, sometimes like I was traveling back and forward in time, it's crazy. I have to agree tho, Leandoer's vocals just keep getting better and better. Nice video mate :)
On the comment you made around Yayo, it's definitely the speakers you were listening on that made the mixing sound weird. This album is mixed in a very unique way where if you listen to it on monophonic speakers (phone/laptop/small bt speakers etc) most of the backing vocals get completely smothered and it sounds way different. For example in the verse of Dance in the Dark he's triple layered at least but you can pretty much only hear the lead vocals in the video. Just a heads up. Love the video, Starz is one of my favourite albums of the year for sure and it's honestly a near masterpiece, it did take me quite a few listens tho (Iceheart also being an instant favourite lol). Lean is well on his way to becoming a legendary artist and I'm very glad to be tagging along for the ride.
Sub. Really hope ur channel blows up I'm so happy I found it. I've been into lean for like a year and listened to all of his stuff and just now I am getting into bladee
Have you listened to the version of yayo with playboi carti? The one thats in the album is kind of a last minute change because carti’s label made them take his verse off the song.
This whole reaction is just a vibe!! Tearing up over the songs now fuck this album just slaps, my favourite lean album yet! Have your opinion bout the first half changed after more listens? Peace man
My rating which I just typed out: 16 Dogboy 15 Acid at 7/11 14 Hellraiser 13 Yayo 12 Butterfly Paralzyed 11 Iceheart 10 Put me in a spell 9 Violence 8 Pikachu 7 Low 6 Dance In The Dark 5 Outta My Head 4 My Agenda 3 Sunset Sunrise 2 Boylife in EU 1 Starz I feel like the bottom 5 tracks were relatively easy to add to the list. The rest however... man. The difference in my liking between nr. 11 - 1 are next to nothing. They are so fucking good its not even funny imo. The bottom 5 tracks however, I like a lot too. Dogboy coming in at #16 feels a bit to skinny and repetitive, same goes for Acid at 7/11. The line "I sold my soul when I was very young" from Acid however, is my favourite line of the whole album. Hellraiser feels like Icedancer without the top tier trappy feel, as it pauses a bit too much and feels conflicted with itself; Do I jump around or do I take in the message? Amazing lines in it tho. Yayo, same thing: Trappy drums with many pauses with a very eerie vibe. Butterfly Paralyzed nears the part of the list where I don't really have things to criticize, but I will say the type of genre it plays into just isn't my cup of tea. The vocals on it though are freaking amazing and immersive. Icedancer is a great banger. Now, Put me in a spell might be a bit controversial to place at #10 but my reason for this is purely because Agony exists. While I absolutely adore the track, I can't help but to compare it as a bit of a weaker version of Agony. The only gripe is the vocals of "Put me in a speeeeeeeell", where the intro vocals are 10/10 agony level and the outro synths are just something else, so fucking great. Won't ramble on about the others. They are perfect as I interpreted them and every hour I might switch rankings between them. Dope reaction vid!
nice ranking! I think I liked the second half more because it's more accessible for a first reaction, but my rankings will probably switch with more listens as well
Very respectful opinion, very acid and dogboy were probably my favorite at least to vibe to but I still think acid could have been so much more at the same time.
To me its 1 Butterfly Paralyzed 2 Dogboy 3 Sunset Sunrise 4 Dance in the Dark 5 Boylife in EU 6 Acid at 7/11 7 Iceheart 8 Hellraiser 9 Low 10 Outta my Head 11 Put me in a Spell 12 My Agenda 13 Pikachu 14 Violence 15 Yayo 16 Starz
