What Do Climbers (@Suckatslab) Eat in a Day

  • This is all I eat in a day as a climber. I didnt leave anything out, and this is a very average day!
    I boulder 4x a week and lift 5x a week. My resting metabolic rate is roughly 2900 calories. I am a bit over 6 feet and 180lbs.

    Very nice, I eat very similar things. Good to see that you're not overly strict, it's important to enjoy what you eat, for the most part.
    Something in my diet that are seemingly unhealthy? I often have cinnamon buns or crisps in the evening, one of those things I never want to let go off completely 😌

      Haha crisps for breakfast! Yes!
      I have been strict in the past, and I saw good results. It isnt worth it right now for me.

    Nice👍I'd be interested to know what your average daily exercise load is. I feel that's at least as important as diet when considering health. Running a company and having kids doesn't always give the time for a decent exercise load, so I tend to lean more heavily on the diet side of things. Currently on keto (again) which works well for me but isn't very convenient sometimes.

      Sounds like all of that would stretch your time! Good work on having a good diet tho... thats hard. Ive been in a job search and have a lot of free time, so my excercise has been up lately. I climb for roughly an hour/hour and a half 3-4 days a week, 20-30min mixed cardio (cycling, running, stair stepper) 4x/week, and a lifting regiment 5/week (legs, chest, back, arms, posterior chain day 😅). Seems like a lot, but I love the gym.
