As a visually impaired person i always cross at pedestrian and pelican crossings, i have to other wise I'd get knocked over LOL, that's when the food delivery bikes sometimes stop i had one the other day swear at me whilst crossing at the green man just because i was in his way ! great videos really enjoy them and I think to myself how on earth did some of them pass their tests.
7:00 I suspect the "correct" answer is that if you're turning right you wait in the left hand lane until the right turn signal is green even though you're holding traffic up.
Another great video, Tony!! I'm like you and drive the speed limit...so nice to pull up next to a speedster at a light after they left me in the dust. We don't have speed cameras where I live, but I just don't want a ticket as my insurance rates are high enough as it is!!
6:00 the light will never change and go red, because the broken down car is on the sensor and so the lights will never change until the car clears the sensor and another one drives over it.
In the US, it is legal to steer with your knees! Doesn't work well with a standard transmission, but they don't seem to be making those much anymore, so people do it legally,
A very entertaining video Tony. Driving standards have deteriorated alarmingly in recent years and people are getting away with behaving badly. That and pedestrians and you have a recipe for disaster. Take care and catch you soon 👍👍👍
Another great entertaining video. Tony, I notice comments saying the man of the broken down car at the traffic lights is a pedestrian and noted you had pointed out he is the driver! Technically he is a pedestrian since he is out of the car. The problem I see, it is not always possible to take a detour, so have to take the right turn. In this case for the strict rule followers, go straight ahead around the Epsom Town Centre, following the A24 one-way system circling back. In some London LTNS, that option is not available!
The only trouble with going around the one-way system is that there is roadworks just down the road to the hospital which affects the one way system. Going round that one way system and back to where you would be turning right could put an extra 15 to 20 minutes on your journey I can't see many people doing that.
youre absolutely right why they should close the 2 right lanes so cars must stay left along the carrigeway the right lane is for emergency services and bycycles
If my 1st comment doesn't pass the Censors...... I forget the timestamp but it was regarding being driven around by Mum or Dad. It brought back a memory..... Circa 1976 if I recall....... Returning towards Didcot we were overtaken by an Escort MarkII about 50 yards before a blind bend. Driver of Escort was immediately recognised as the Father of a lad that I was in Primary School with. A slightly mad 🇮🇹 with ZERO patience. We caught him up 2 miles down the road stuck at a set of 🚦 rofl. Good vid as per, Tony.

That last one is the same when it comes to waiting behind a cyclist. I often see drivers squeezing past a cyclist when it's not safe, I will wait patiently for a safe opportunity, then lo and behold a few minutes later I catch the driver up at the next queue. Heck, I often end up cycling past drivers that have aggressively overtaken me when out on the bicycle.
i often find cyclists riding on the road (and NOT the ready made cycle lane at the side of the road) 4 or more of them together in a peloton looking for it, they generally have some chelp when you challenge them, but are adverse to stopping and discussing it further.
@@davec8730 why would you challenge them? Cyclists are allowed to choose the road or the cycle lane as they see fit. I can just imagine you in a supermarket bothering an old lady, telling them they could have used a basket instead of a trolley for their small amount of shopping!

Enjoyable viewing as usual Tony. You do get a vast assortment of dodgy drivers. The 2 worse today in my humble opinion was the woman contortionist using her vape in her left hand whilst performing a dodgy manouver to reach her mobile with her right hand very dangerous to say the least. And the man on the motor bike overtaking the car on its right whilst that car was waiting go right. Thanks for the entertainment
The trainee Aldi Driver, smoking one of those disgusting vape things in the car, it's a wonder She can see. I can do that stretching exercise for the TV remote, but I never have that in the car. My Mother used to say "better late than never" when somebody went flying past us.
Well, it would seem that watching you channel regularly saved us from an accident today. Picture, if you will - We were driving along heading for an island, when I noticed (what turned out to be an Audi) heading towards the same island fast from our left. I figured I'd better say something, so warned my step-father slow down, and, as you can probably guess, the Audi just shot out without looking, and we just about stopped in time to not hit the idiot. So, thanks for your educational videos! 😉 (True story from today)

In that first clip, those bikes were using you as a safety-car. Their biker-senses were tingling, they didn't want anything to do with that Trainee Audi Driver.
Someone on a scooter tried to pull up next to me at a mini island, I'm at the giveway line, I saw his intention and moved to the right to block him from his intention to pass me on the island which was not safe but he still managed to squeeze between me and the bollards and tapped on my window to complain, I just drove off, he followed me and bashed my car later when I stopped to turn right 👿👿

The video with the car broke down at the lights the idiot pedestrian was telling the learner driver to get into the outside lane why the hell didn't he help the poor sod who was broke down push his car to a safer place, some people beggar belief.
The reason the Mercedes was driving at 30mph is clearly because there's a red light at the roundabout with a queue. The driver has probably just taken his/her foot off the accelerator and using engine braking. There's no point in arriving early at the back of the queue using more fuel and then braking. It's better for the environment, saves fuel and the brakes.
The biggest problem came about when they decided to do away with the tax disc on the windscreen, because they always gave us info about any changes if I remember right.
The learner driver at the lights, should either have gone straight on and taken an alternative route, or stayed at the stop line, as they have committed two offences, contravening red traffic signal, and failing to stop at stop line. Either way, very poor instructor skills.
You obviously have little experience driving no hands, mate. Cars often pull to the right. If she is in the outside lane driving no hands, she will swerve into the inside lane not the kerb (Unless there is another vehicle there of course...). Simples! "Hope that helps"...

Toyota once had an advertising campaign where they used the catchphase "The car in front is a Toyotta". I always found that hysterical. Whenever it came on the TV my father would say "Well he should put his king toe down and stop holding us up"
