I think that you're right about the closed exit on the roundabout.
The Volkswagen that gave you the w - - ker sign ! Was very brave only doing so as he drove away. This happens a lot they’re very brave inside there tin box.Keep up with your great videos and please keep the audio as is because you are spot on some people couldn’t give a shit about any one else and the sad thing is that they can’t see what they have done wrong .

Tony, in my head, you are always driving behind/in front of me, just waiting for me to do something stupid and call me out on it!! You have improved my driving because I don't want to get scolded!! Mind you, in 55 years of driving I have never had an at-fault accident, so I'm either doing something right or everyone else is really on their game!

To be fair, I spend half my time avoiding pot holes and sunken manhole covers, as I cannot afford to pay for damaged wheels, tyers and anything else that our crap roads throw up at us.

People cutting corners is habitual; i call it lazy driving, cant be arsed people. They always do it, same as bad lane discipline, no indicating generally ~ and thats even in automatics , where lets face it; they dont actually have a bloody lot to do driving a car except mess with a phone or do their make up.
Drivers who cut corners are driving to fast 🤔simple 👎

The Golf driver is giving himself the sign as he had forgotten to indicate upon exit!

Had to take my son to school along an Epsom & Ewell road the massive pot holes were there all the time he was at that school and their council website is virtually impossible to report them on. Love the Bourne Hall pond so lovely
I just thought I'd mention that a postman today cut the corner going into the doctors surgery by so much he was actually more on my side than his own. I blew the horn to warn him I was there as he obviously didn't see a 1.5 ton bright red SUV and he gave me the "get out of my way peasant" look instead of apologising for driving like a dick. Professional indeed!
Yes Slow down around schools is a traffic safety slogan in New Zealand as well but people still don’t understand that schools are where children are and they don’t want to be run over

Thanks to you, I can never look at an Audi in the same light. As soon as I see one I think "always an Audi"! And yes, I DO drive a German car, not an Audi, but I can drive properly, well most of the time!!!

20:34 I did something similar myself recently - managed to sit through a whole green cycle waiting for a filter light to turn on and it never did! I think I'd somehow got confused about the type of traffic light (probably expecting a separate light sequence for it or something), when I was looking at the lights the whole time. Thankfully there was no one else behind me so I didn't hold anyone else up. Shows it can happen even to the more observant among us though! Needless to say the next cycle I made sure to actually move forward to trigger the filter light!
There's a set of lights near me that only uses the filter light if there's enough traffic to trigger sensors further back from the lights, so you have to just go with it.

The Kia driver overtake ,tight squeeze was a typical im not arsed about driving safely as long as i get infront of the car infront of me. So many idiot drivers are an accident waiting to happen.
I think the accident would have happened there and then, if the van driver hadn't been alert enough to stand on his brakes.

Love all your clips, my partner George and I watch everyday with much enjoyment, we now notice and comment when out driving it's always an Audi 😂
I think the golf expected to be able to pass you on the roundabout with closures, notice how he hugs the centre line, and closes on you for a while afterwards.
That 405 bus is just as bad when it drives round the wells!
I think you might have misjudged the white Merc driver when he turned right at the lights. I suspect he wanted to be certain his exit would be clear before moving onto the junction - just in case he ended up blocking it due the lights sequence and weight of traffic from the opposite direction. It appeared that as soon as he could see the last of the oncomers, he moved forward. But you were right about the lack of indicator fluid!

That's the point I made earlier! LDC was right initially. Car should not have pulled out until his way was clear. He assumed the car was carrying on but you shouldn't base your manoeuvre based on what you Hooe to happen!

with regard to buses, if they try that s*** with me, I just stop. I aint going nowhere, if I've got priority, I dont give a fluff what you're driving. I aint got no schedule to keep to. I'll get out and sit by the roadside if I have to. F** em.
Yes been there done that and got the tee shirt. Also had a load of verbal for holding drivers up behind the bus. Though it does depend on my mood. Well I guess it is my privilege to become a grumpy old git.
that's what i did a couple of years ago. it was a side road, cars parked along the other side. the van should have waited and let me pass, but he didn't. so i stopped my bike right there in the middle of the road and just stood there. eventually he reversed into a gap, then we both went on our ways.
Audi's are notorious for having rock hard suspension as the roads in Germany are so smooth, here in the uk they have to weave around the manhole covers to make it bearable. I'm sure that's why they drive like they do as they've got to get out of it asap!
The lorry @ approx 23.50 looked, to me at least, as if he didn't actually know that that was the exit he wanted. The impression I got, was thathe was planning to go all the way around the roundabout, looking at the signs on each exit, but when he saw that one, realised it was the one he needed to take. 🤷♀

Yes, YOU had a green light and, having turned right, I agree there are NO traffic lights on your side. However, there ARE lights on the other side (the side the woman began to cross the road from). As she began to cross, there was a beamer at the lights (lights that DO exist, so says street view, on t’other side to where you & the Peugeot are). The beamer seemed in no hurry to move off & I’m wondering if it might’ve been a red light (and, consequently, a green man).🤔
In fact, I’m surprised you didn’t remark upon the ‘full house’ of, a beamer, merc, cyclist, van and … an Audi, all waiting (seemingly) quite patiently. Another council planning/design flaw, perhaps?🤷♂️

Hey Tony, One day make a trip up here, the roads are diabolical pot hole central, Its like weve had mortars explode on our roads, Im guessing its the same all around the country, gawd only knows what road tax and Petrol/Diesel duty goes on. It certainly isnt road repairs.
I go to Sheffield Park quite a lot, down in Sussex, and the road down there is abysmal. As soon as you turn off the A22 you could be in a third world country.
@@IndigoJo Kent is no better. A road near me was recently closed for 2 days for "Urgent Repairs". I used it the day after and it was obvious that absolutely nothing had been repaired.

14:03 Silver car at fault for not signalling. Cyclist at fault as he went through a red light at the crossing. Black car also at fault for pulling out in front of the cyclist and into a well marked 'KEEP CLEAR' area.
You will see a lot of German cars dodging manholes and pot holes due to having run flat tyres which are very hard giving a massive jolt if you don’t see any road damage

I try go avoid manhole covers, i drive a lexus ct 200h which is a nit low and I have arthritic probs, so they give ne a lot of gip,wait til hou get old lol

I commiserate with you having to put up with those numpties all day, every day. My old mum always used to say " The things you see when you haven't got a gun" ( she mainly used it for the actions of German tourists abroad- long story). Also that VW banker had no right to make that action. I think he thought you should have pulled over for him to overtake you. We've all got potholes, our roads are all terrible. They put in a patch which immediately comes out the next lorry that goes over it. We have a lot of container lorries driving round us in Northamptonshire. So enjoy your streams, ta mate.

At 5;40 the 'toy car' ...with both the right hand lanes going straight on, an advanced driver, or one with a smidgin of foresight, would have moved into the far right lane to facilitate any driver in a toy car, or any other entering from that side road, entering the other straight ahead lane, wouldn't they, or in your case...not
Hmmm now why would I want to put myself in the wrong lane to help someone else out who is in the wrong lane I'm in the correct lane for where I want to go why would I do that why would anyone do that.

You got the sign because you had the nerve not to let him overtake you on the roundabout. As for the car bike one your first thought was correct. The car started to pull out before it's exit was clear and therefore should not have started to exit.

13:25 Both the car drivers and the cyclist were in the wrong but the guy who turned right without indicating until the last minute and the guy who pulled out on the cyclist were the most at fault for that stand-off. The cyclist had right of way at that junction, and that doesn't change just because he'd just gone through a red light, and if you know you're turning, you indicate in good time, not at the last second.
Did you fart while in front of the Golf? Maybe he was waving away the smell.

Bike lanes and disabled parking bays - loads of them but not many cyclists or disabled drivers using them!!!!
After watching dashcam footage from all over the world it is quite obvious that drivers licenses are far too easy to get and keep. The majority of drivers should not be allowed to be in control of any vehicle bigger than a matchbox car.
The worst drivers seem to be in the most expensive cars, but you don't need to be intelligent to have money, you just need a rich daddy.
Sometimes Audi drivers buy a Kia by mistake, that's why the Kia cut the van up.
11:45 the selfish VW, you get to your exit and it closed, there's nothing else you can do. The Aldi was next to you so you slowed to let that finish its turn but the wreck was still behind and should have noticed the exit was closed. They should have thought, "ah that car now hasn't got anywhere to go I'll have to stay behind and let it go off here" Simples! Apparently not!

Once you saw the closed exit on the roundabout, you kept left, correctly, and took the next left. Nothing at all wrong with that. So what ever annoyed the driver behind is a mystery!

Apart from the fact the Golf looked like he was trying to straight line the roundabout and overtake you but he couldn't get to the filter sign before you, you did nothing wrong.
The VW number plate did have the letters FURY in it, so maybe he's got anger management issues😂🤔😤

@@robinkey4499 I think you missed my sarcasm. The road was a 40mph limit for a good part of it, and I was saying that the other driver was probably annoyed because LDC wasn't doing 60mph. If you keep to the speed limit you will probably get flashed or abused.

TBF I have had a journey or 2 where I dodge every bump I could but that was when the wife had a C-section and every bump hurt her. But probably shitty suspension in my shit box unlike their manly cars

13:28 - you were right the first time. The car should not have pulled out as his exit route was not clear and he made the mistake pf assuming the car in the road would carry on a head and clear the way. You should never drive on assumptions and what you hope to happen, but drive according to what is actually happening.
20:00 - absolutely pointless use of the horn and not in accordance with HC rule 112 as you used it aggressively. You cold have used it correctly at 19:57.
20:35 - there was no point in the car moving forward as he could see there was a long line of traffic so he did the right thing and moved in one move by waiting for a gap.
24:40 - as you say you must always keep a good distance from vehicle ahead. All the information that he was going to turn left was there as he moved to the right and slowed down but it took you a while to twig that.
That first Audi, I think the driver must have been tiny, because he was all over the road. He probably couldn’t see over the dashboard to keep it straight. As for the bloke calling you a w**ker, I couldn’t see any reason whatsoever why he was so rude to you. Thanks again for the great entertainment. You always keep me laughing. I have started calling idiots ’ knobhead’ now, thanks to you! 😁

Having come across closed exits on roundabouts a few times myself (usually at night, just to add to the fun) I can empathise with you. I suspect the other drive the W:anchor:-signer was a little miffed by the fact that a car in front (you) did not seem to obey the normal rules of lane usage, but surely would have seen the lane closure and realised you had no alternative. If I was that driver I think it might have been a case of, in the moment, "oh, what a dick!" followed a second or two later by, "oh, ok, no harm, no foul" an dnot a minute later by a rude gesture - ONLY when your paths were diverging, almost as if he feared being 'road-raged' by you!
At 17:15 Was that Nick Ferrari (LBC presenter & Spud from Sidcup) driving that silver VW Polo YP17 XBZ? Classic case where a driver deliberately steers to the kerb, to prevent a cyclist filtering, forcing this female cyclist into the oncoming traffic!
You mentioned the cyclist in pink not looking behind her, there is an explanation for this, but it is dificult to explain in text only. If you observe, it's not the easiest cycle to manoeuvre in traffic.
What is more enlightening, an ordinary cyclist, in leafy Surrey, riding a heavy steel non aero cycle, is beating the traffic!🤭
At 12:30 Clearly the driver was in a "URY" and you were driving at the speed limit! Road hog!!!!
Oh you beauty , I know something about "Potholes " state of the roads etc , well , 1 Council Leeds , has come out with an estimated report that it will take 19.5 YEARS and at a cost of £288 Million , to fix the roads to an acceptable standard . and when have estimates by the council / government's been even remotely been around the estimate , either time or £ Money .

Maybe the driver of the blue Golf has such good vision that he could read your lips when you suggested that he might be "effing bell end". He is obviously not manly enough to take criticism.
My guess re. the Golf is twofold. Number A, you weren't driving at 78MPH through the lights. Number B, he's a Golf driver and as such is far better than everyone else on the road. He is in fact a trainee Audiot and he's also very manly as he drives over potholes🤣🤣
Hi the London dash cam i don't know if you have the dpd company dash cam videos they are dangerous one of my grandmother's took in a parcel for a neighbour the driver reversed over her and she was in hospital for four months

20 minutes in white Merc. Dont enter a junction unless you can cross without stopping - Highway code; not that you see many people obeying.
Of course, they might have been on their phone, how often do you see a Merc obey ANY traffic laws?
Dropped drain cover avoidance - not saying this is why the two featured were making such a meal of it; but those of us with badly damaged spines do try to avoid them if possible, as the jolt can send searing pain up and down through the damaged areas; right down to our toes.
In my case, L1, 2, 3, and 4 are all fucked; and even a dip in the road can cause sharp pain on a bad day.
(Waiting for my latest x-ray results, to see if I need further surgery)
Just a reference if you are turning right at a junction you have no choice but to block it and you are allowed to do it.
