Sir ap aur apki form ki techniques gazab hai... Bas meri wrist thodi si kam turn hoti hai, the way u just explained in that trick of urs...but I am working on it. I am somewhat using that trick for standing dumbell curls for biceps and it really puts the effort right where its needed....

bro i hv heard from alot of trainers that one arm dumble row can cause hernias if you place one of ur leg on a bench, instead u should place both the legs on the ground place ur body in an athletic position, place one hand on a bench or a rack and perform the one arm rows.... wat that do is it divides the weight symmetrically on both sides of ur body which minimize the risk of hernia... and if ur leg is on a bench, then one side of ur lower body will have more weight than the other which leads to hernia
