BMW Z3 M54 Air Box, Intake Boot, Idle Air Control Valve, And Throttle Removal.
This is the beginning steps in the process of removing the cylinder head on my M54 engine on my BMW Z3. I will include tips and tricks and during removal of these components. These steps are in preparation for removal of the intake manifold and the cylinder head.

It’s been awhile since working on my M54 e46. I need to refresh all intake hoses, o-rings and gaskets on my M52tu so this video is helpful.

Hi Steve, That is great! The intake tubes are very common to dry crack but thankfully easy to install and find at a good price.

Nice video. Been there done it on my 05 E46 ZHP. Wished I had replaced the two lower plastic water lines under the manifold when I was in there replacing the starter. Greetings from the Old Jarhead in WNC

Great to hear from you :) Most of the time you never need to do those but with any overheat they can melt, deform and clog.
