Jana, you are such a blessing🧡 I usually make my own soy yogurt and never tried anthing new. This recipe is amazing. You dont even need to blend the oats and you can have it as an overnight oats if you want..but healthier! I will put it in small jars and make different variations. It's brilliant,THANK YOU!!!! P.S. I was just looking for ideas on how to change my usual breakfast and there you have it! Kisses😘😘😘

Thank you for the wonderful recipe and the informative articles. I'm still living in a difficult situation and nutrition has been really bad. I definitely have pain in my gut. Can't wait for my situation to change (hopefully in the next few months) and start making your delicious recipes. ♥️♥️♥️
Excellent recipe. I've been mixing equal parts oatmeal and water with probiotics for some time now, but I like the idea of blending it at the end with fruit (once in a while) This is such a convenient grab and go solution for me. I've safely left the mixture out for 2 days, but the sour flavor gets pretty strong. You can tell the probiotics are modifying the starches in the oatmeal because even cold its texture is softer and creamier as you described.
Thank you Chef Jana, ever since I gave up on Dairy products, I've felt missed out on enjoying a yummy yoghurt, ymmm.....I like your Mixed berries sweetened with banana type, but I'm also thinking of Coconut, Mango, the list of fruits to use here is infinite! 👍and greetings 👋for your family and you from central Mexico! 🤠
this is great! i miss yogurt. I haven't tried any of your recipes and I pray they all taste good because you know being plant based is hard!!! but I have subscribed because you are doing videos on stuff I miss ex,. honey, yogurt, cheese also can you try to do a substitute for aquafaba??? because its a great vegan substitute but its not healthy for you if you research about canned chickpea water. Also, have you considered experimenting with heart of palm and jackfruit and pea protein? p.s. Love your banana peel videos because I too have thought about that before discovering your videos. KEEP up the GOOD WORK!!! one day when I have time I plan to try some of your recipes but you do get an A+ because you are doing videos on what plant based people are missing. I hope you incorporate more gluten free recipes as well :)
There's rye flakes too, rye has more fibres while oat is richer in proteins. (To have something to change with from time to time). Using one these products together with pulses or beans, you will have the feeling to have eaten A BIG STEAK, it will last for MANY hours 😏😏
Looks like a nice dessert with the berries blended in. And maybe some whipped coconut cream on top? Oh, that sounds delicious. I'm going to have to try that once I have access to a regular kitchen again.
I wish I'd known about this when in college and all I had was a teeny toaster oven and hot plate. You need neither! Just water and a clean cup or bowl will pull this together.
Question I have the probiotic capsules. Do I follow the exact same steps but I would add the capsule and put it in a dark place with the towel over it? Does anything change when using the probiotic on this recipe? Another question is there any way it can be thickened up a little bit with any type of I'm not familiar which one to use but maybe tapioca starch chickpea I mean is there anything to firm it up to get it a little thicker. Thank you for the recipe I will try it after getting directions from you
I wouldn't add starch unless you were going to cook it. Try it before you start modifying things. The probiotics go to work on the oatmeal's starches and convert them. I've had over-night oats (boring and it was just wet oats) but, the action of the probiotics leaves the result that seems (to me) to have a more traditional oatmeal texture. It's as if I cooked the oats and left them too long to cool--almost, but not quite. I disliked the overnight oats with just water and love them when they've sat with probiotics. Adding frozen berries would thin things out and add liquid--I think that's what got your attention. Try it with some raisins or golden berries. Yum!

Soy is extremely healthy for both men and women as long it is non-GMO or organic, It’s also very important to eat both probiotic and prebiotic foods as they work together
True except for the “non-GMO and organic” part. There are no scientific evidence to any advantage of those. This is just a belief that has no connection to reality.
@@galitjustme695 But it seems reasonable that round-up (GMO) and the pesticides used in non-organic compete with the probiotics which is why the general directive is to give the probiotics a chance without fighting pesticides and herbicides.

@@ChefJana If the raw oats were heated up to an internal temperature of ~160F would black, green, and yellow spots be less likely to grow? If the fermentation happens even after it is refrigerated, would a yogurt be achieved if the oats and water were refrigerated from the very beginning?
@@cylon5741 No. Bacteria doesn't really care whether its hosted by food that was cooked and cooled, or, uncooked. True except for the “non-GMO and organic” part. There are no scientific evidence to any advantage of those. This is just a belief that has no connection to reality.
Yes, but quite a few people are allergic to soy and find it hard to be vegan because so much is soy-based.

Boil some water and put the bowl in it for about 5 seconds, that'll do it 😊
