I know, right?... I have missed it so much and was a bit tired of the agave/maple syrup substitution, to be honest with you... Oh, and next will be a single ingredient that's also a superfood that's capable of substituting flour, starch, oil, sugar, and creams in recipes 🤯 You're going to love it 😍

@@ridgleyhawthorne715 I get my recipes online. There are lots of dandelion recipes. I substituted clover blossoms for dandelions. With the apple honey, I bought cider from a farm market instead of blending apples and straining them. You can substitute any edible flower for the dandelions. You may need more, or less, sugar. I'm thinking of trying pears instead of apples.

I stumbled across a fruit combo that tastes almost exactly like clover honey. I made syrup from ground cherries and a syrup from elderberries (just juice and sugar) and combined 1 tablespoon of each and was shocked. The story behind it is that it was the first time I foraged elderberries and it was a very underwhelming experience but before I threw it out I figured I would try combos with other juices and preserves I had previously made.
Another couple interesting combos is prickly pear syrup and elderberry syrup tasted like cherry punch and autumn olive syrup and elderberry syrup tastes like cranberry sauce.

One concern is the texture, which looks fine. The other concern, a very important one, is the nutrient and micronutrient values. That might be an issue with replacing some kinds of honey for people. The dates honey look yummy and as healthful as possible with all the sweetness. Besides that taste is an issue. These both look absolutely delicious. There are a number of considerations but these look super. Thank you.

I’ve been mostly vegan for about seventeen years. During my first fourteen years of veganism, I made no allowances, whatsoever, quite happily. About to tee years ago, I became quite ill with a virus, and wasn’t being helped by simple elderberry infusion as I often had been. Since the, I’ve made allowances for consuming small quantities of honey and propolis tincture when I’m ill. While I suspect many vegan pseudo-honeys are perfectly serviceable in cooked dishes and as garnishes, I’m certain they do not have the medicinal properties of honey, even it the vegan pseudo-honey were cautiously made with with local, medicinal flower blossoms, it would not match the medicinal power of honey, which has the anti-microbial boost of hydrogen peroxide.
I’m not proud of this allowance, since it makes me a non-vegan, but it has meant that I’m able to recover from illnesses a little more efficiently. I also never, ever crave the honey and propolis-tincture containing syrup I use after my recovery. My mind and palate instinctively shuts down at the idea of consuming it if its medicinal functions are no longer required.
