    Great job Gina. You are a natural. Hank I was very busy with work so I just got the time to watch it. You gave very good instructions. Gina didn't have any trouble. Give her a week on the Tractor and she could take over!😁
    Just for the record I took my Hamiltonville Tumbler to Church this morning full of coffee. Love it. Great video guys. Mark. 🤠

    Long time equestrian here and now looking at getting my own little place. Thanks for the video! Other than for driving our little John Deer up at the cottage for basic yard work, I've been wanting to learn how to drive the big ones! You sure made us ladies proud:) Good job driving and good job not freaking out!😉

      Lol. You shouldn't have any troubles on a big tractor because of your horse riding skillset. Calm, in control, quick reflexes. You'll be great at it👍

    Haha, You beat us to the punch. My family was sitting around brainstorming on future videos; and one topic was teaching them to drive my New Holland Tractor. Another great video Hamiltonville Farms.

    Great Instructional Video! I sent it to my wife! I'm looking at purchasing the 4550 because I live on a mountain in Arkansas and plan on moving lots of heavy boulders and big trees. Love all the videos of Big Red! 😎👍

    Great Job! I know when dad was teaching me I was soooo nervous to let out the clutch bc I had flashbacks to learning to drive a stick shift car!! I was so relieved when I figured out it's not like that clutch, way smoother! I can drive everything on the lot now and the guys joke better than some of them! #farmHER #mahindrawoman #moveoverandletmedrive - Brandy @ Red Dirt Tractors

    I didn't hear the number 1 thing I'd want to know. What do you do to stop the thing if something unexpected happens like it lurches suddenly or you go over an unexpected rough patch and the tractor lists to one side and almost throws you off. Exactly what is the best/safest shut down manuver??

    • @HamiltonvilleFarm
      @HamiltonvilleFarm  4 роки тому +1

      Ah! Good point. The shut down/stop procedure will vary from tractor to tractor, but "popping the clutch" killing the switch, shifting to neutral are just some options. That's a great point. I'm glad you brought it up for people to read in the comments. I appreciate that.

      There is no flat ground where I'm at in Tennessee. All mountains,hills, & hollers. Found out the hard way, farmers have their tires filled with a water mixture. Man did it make a world of difference. Now how much to fill each one is a ongoing debate and the cause of many first fights, lol. I took ours to the local Co-op and let them know the terrain I was dealing with, and they gave me a couple of choices and pros & cons. It's like a new tractor, and I feel like I'm more in control vs the terrain. I'm not sure what your dealing with but I just thought I'd through this out since I was clueless being a lowlander from Ohio.

    Hank this was February 2019 2 years ago. Brings back memories. I really wanted this Tractor that’s how I got hooked on your channel. However there were Dealers around a 60 mile radius from me that told Mahindra to come get their Tractors off their lot! I know 5 dealers that did but really didn’t understand why. I think it’s because Mahindra stopped Honoring their warranty work. However I really was drawn to this Tractor and still am. Then you said goodbye to yours which shocked the fire out of me. I purchased 3 Tractors since then. 2 LS and 1 JD.
    Hope you and Gina and her Chickens are well. God Bless! Mark.

    When I see the ground being worked on, and the open field and trees, I just seems that I did life all wrong, something about that just feels like I'm supposed to be out there doing something just like that, working the land etc. Instead of in this office coup under fluorescent lights.

    She did very good by my standards and after a certain point all tractors are the same in the basics lol just having to learn the controls can be a job.. Any more for me I can run just about any brand and not have to ask anyone for help lol so I tend to forget what's its like for People who don't have any farm experience and what their utility tractors mean to them. I have 2 tractors on my farm just for my wife to run lol Case Tractors one is 160 horse and the other is 200 lol

    Hey there, first time viewer! I’d really like to be able to own and operate a tractor one day once I buy some land. My big concern is that I’m a short girl at only about 5 feet exactly. And the pedals seems a little far from the seat. Kinda silly question, but is it possible for shorties like myself to be able to safely and comfortably drive these machines? I really hope to hear from you and anyone else who can chime in. Thanks for the cool content!

    • @HamiltonvilleFarm
      @HamiltonvilleFarm  2 роки тому +1

      For sure. Find one that is comfortable for you. The seat is adjustable on most models. My wife is 5’ 1” and she does fine 👍

    I'd really like to get a gear driven tractor instead of a hydro. Just to get more power to the ground. However I do way to much loader work and I just don't think they're the right choice. I don't want to regret buying something that's a pita to operate. What are your thoughts?
