On the hydrostatic when using the PTO do you engage the PTO and then bring up the rpm or do you bring up the rpm and then engage the PTO?

I always recommend engaging the PTO at lower RPMs to reduce the stress on the implement and the tractor. Start low to 1/3 throttle then slowly raise your RPMS to 540.
