    for the midi routing part, you could easily make an instrument rack with the operator, add a parallel "External Instrument" Device and route the midi to SerumFX, no additional messy midi track needed.

    Put Operator in an Instrument Rack. Create a new empty parallel chain inside that rack. Add Ext. Instrument device, the choose MIDI out as the channel that has SerumFX. It will now pop up in the 2nd drop down menu along with any other plugins on that channel that receive MIDI input. No need for another channel in the session! Continue adding parallel chains when you need additional MIDI triggers from that MIDI source

    Is Serum FX separate from regular Serum? Or can I run operator through regular Serum as well? :)

  • @MrBillsTunes
    @MrBillsTunes 5 років тому +1

    FYI, you can trigger SerumFX easier than that by putting Operator in a rack & running an "Ext. Instrument" device in parallel with it & sending the MIDI from the "Ext. Instrument" device straight to SerumFX so everything's on the same channel (just a bit neater - I prefer to do it that way so you don't have blank channels all over the place in the end).
    If you're confused, here's a rack: www.dropbox.com/s/bf1vpguigfkt63k/Richard%20Generator.adg?dl=0

    Yes underbelly, for triggering the Serum Fx, You use a technic less agressive than '' social média triggering '', on the bottom left of Serum Fx there's a button called '' LATCH, when It's engaged you can use the LFO's. Before knowing it, i was duplicating the midi info and send this clip from another midi track. I never use the '' envelop''section in Serum Fx, But i think this is where your "social media" technic can be usefull to also trigger Fx by serum' s envelop.... Operaptor rocks !
