So you and others missed the whole part of the video where the narator said the CSI guy was in prisoned for planting false evidence in another case. Nice . You people are pathetic .
I have a hard time believing his fiancé knew nothing about his other relationship. They all worked at the same restaurant and restaurant staff is incredibly cliquey and they love gossip.
Well, if Michelle knew about Jessica, Jessica would’ve also known about Michelle. Would Michelle have discussed marriage with a cheating boyfriend? Would Jessica be excited to tell her cheating boyfriend that she was pregnant? And wouldn’t her family or friends mentioned that info to the police/media and that would’ve made his motive easier to prove?
His dad thought he was an attorney?? 🤣 he gave his son the best advice of his life… he definitely deserved the 80 years he got instead of the ridiculous plea offer he rejected. 🤣 karma is real! ❤
That's the beautiful thing about this case. This monster could have been released before he was 30! Barely a slap on the wrist for the brutality of the crime. But because of his family's own arrogance Christopher Edwards is rotting away in a prison cell for 100 years. *mwah* chef's kiss. RIP Jessica.

Thank you for giving us cases that didn’t get much coverage. Everyone is doing the same things and it’s just redundant. Your channel is a breath of fresh air.
When I heard period blood and seen the mattress pic, I was pretty sure he was guilty. When I heard that his father said, "could not convict his son without a body" instead of, "don't take the deal because you're innocent." I was all in on guilty.
That photo of the mattress pic was proof. Idk if you've ever seen how much blood a period produces, but.. it ain't that much, even over the course of an entire week.
Tbh, as a girl with endo, if it was not for my mattress protector, it would look like I had been murdered every month .. I joke with my bf that if I ever went missing, he would be the top suspect due to the amount of 🩸 everywhere 😂😂😂 lolll
@@The_Lazy_Crafter Awww🥺 I'm sorry you have to go through that, I had to watch my sister and it was heart wrenching. With this case, would be too coincidental that his gf is missing and there's fresh blood with no sign of sheets anywhere, not even in the washer. If it's period, someone's definitely cleaning that up not just flipping the mattress.
Why would his family persuaded him to not to take any deal? There’s something completely wrong in Christopher’s role in killing her. Why his lawyers explain him the implications of not taking a deal and if they did, why his father persuaded him to do the contrary knowing Chris will serve life in prison? His father is as guilty as he’s, both of them should be doing time.
First come the parents, then the children. The son behaved as he did because something in his upbringing told him that it was ok. It's the way he was raised.
Agree. Its like someone needs to tell young men..or women- that given the choice - most all humans would hope and pray you chose to break their heart over taking their life.Just a reminder Incase anyone trying to decide between the two.
I'm pretty sure he didn't give a shit about breaking anyone's heart. He already had a pregnant fiancée. It would have been next to impossible to hide Jessica's baby forever. Even if he told the truth to Jessica and broke it off, she'd probably want child support, etc and his fiancée, Michelle, would probably leave him. Even if she stayed with him, he'd be on the hook helping to support his child with Jessica. People who think they're smarter than the police figure murder is the easy way out.

I wouldn't be surprised either but then thought it couldn't be his dad because that man would've been smart enough to get rid of or clean that mattress right? I mean that was a ton of blood that hadn't even tried to be cleaned or covered with some new sheets or something. Seems like something a teenager would do.
@@merimasviland8006 Does she tho? Tell me you wouldn't have noticed that stain on the side of the mattress or that there wasn't a sheet on it for days and there used to be all the time.
I would love to hear how his family, who is so thoroughly convinced of his innocence, would explain away Jessica's massive blood stain on Chris's mattress (as well as the blood splatter on the walls and ceiling) that he so blatantly tried to cover up. It may not have been the strongest case in the world without the body... but if they're going to run around exclaiming his innocence, I'd really like to hear how they would justify those mighty inculpatory blood cleansings.
Right?! That mattress was absolutely saturated! How is his father ignoring that and accepting some story about a period 🤦 it's so insulting. A miscarriage, MAYBE, but a period? Ugh. His father is a terrible human being and I rarely say that about the parents because most times they're victims. Not his!

Thank the lord that Murders are messy, especially the desperate, passionate ones. No matter how hard you clean, the damage is done, and you've only made it even more clear that you're covering up something and the law hones in.
I went to school with Chris, and my little sister's best friend dated him. He was a very quiet guy, and very shy unless he was friends with you. Never got in fights and wasn't aggressive. Unfortunately, his life at home was known to be unstable as far as where he lived. He was bounced around between family members as a young kid. When this tragedy happened, I was surprised but not completely shocked. It's so awful what happened to poor Jessica, and I wish that Chris would just let her family have closure and tell them where her body is.
I'm currently reading the autobiography of Kurt Cobain, who also got bounced around between impoverished relatives throughout his youth. But instead of taking his angst out on others, he turned it on himself. Not saying being a junk1e and unaliving yourself is an ideal solution, but it's miles ahead of murder.
The whole case was filled with circumstantial evidence. The supposed blood stains found in the car and on the sword, were clearly planted. I find it hard to believe that he would keep the supposed murder weapon, with blood on it, just laying around. I'm not saying he did not do the murder at all, only that the case against him was very weak. The Cops, Prosecutors, Judge, and Victims Family are a bunch of Vindictive A-holes. I'm sorry Jessica is gone, but I have to say, if they were hoping he would say where he put her body ( if he really did kill her), that's out the window now. They don't have a hope in H*** of him saying anything now!!! And they deserve to never know where Jessica is, just for being A-holes. I have very little sympathy for her Family, because of how Vindictive they have been, and how happy they were that he will die in Prison. Now they can suffer the rest of thier lives not knowing where Jessicca is. KARMA!!! 😃😃😃 RIP Jessica. ❤🙂 I hope Chris is doing okay in Prison, and that he can hopefully get his Sentence reduced or overturned. ❤🙂
@@gailobright8070wow you sound like an absolutely horrible person - and not a particularly clever one either, when your reckoning of the case doesn't account for the massive blood stain, confirmed to be Jessica's, on this loser's mattress. A circumstantial case is not the same thing as a weak case, and the state doesn't actually have to prove the exact method of murder when the fact of a murder having happened is so clearly established and the motive and opportunity are so clearly concentrated in one person. The CSI guy planting evidence is awful and does have some implications for the specific theory of the crime and the means of cover-up, but the case was never hanging on those pieces of trace evidence in the first place - compared to the massive blood stains on the mattress, ceiling and walls, those little traces were insignificant. I'm glad the judges presiding over his applications for appeal/retrial had the brains to see the obvious in this case.
How ironic that the dad's uppity attitude 🙄 helped bury his son in conviction..... as usual Kevin, your choice of content and delivery, always bring food for thought.
@@barbrothers2 not really. they mentioned in the video several times about his they couldnt understand how someone of his stature could move the body without help. Showing where the body is would only make them wonder about who helped him get it there.
I'm stuck on how he, and his family can sit there and argue that there were other suspects, and that they zeroed in on him from the start. Really? You don't say! Could it possibly be because of the MASSIVE blood stain on his bed? Or the blood spatter all over his room, especially on the ceiling, that he covered in paint?? You know, the blood that matched her DNA?? 🤔🤔🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ Good grief! They probably did help him get rid of the body! Anyway, thank you for another riveting story! Plea deals absolutely blow my mind, as does the theory that without a body there is no crime. I understand the victims families reasoning for plea deals, and wanting to find their loved ones body, but the extreme leniency of the proposed plea deal for this particular case is ridiculous and disgusting!
But a plea deal is not leniency if the accused is innocent. I'm not speaking about this case, but in general, the police don't offer a plea deal unless they don't have enough strong evidence to assure a conviction. That could mean innocence.
Thank you for covering this case. I wonder if Christopher's dad thinks twice now before handing out advice? My heart goes out to Jessica's family and friends. I hope her remains are found one day so that her family and friends can lay her to rest in a place of their choosing.
It realy dose not matter as she is gone forever, we all need to remeber the beloved person, a grave is just a grave and will disapear one day or another
When you live in someone else’s basement and you don’t have money nor the ability to support a child then USE PROTECTION!!!! This applies to both parties, holy moly.
@@Theranchhouse1 I hear you but unfortunately we don’t live in that environment anymore. Growing up in the 50’s and 60’s they married very young. If a couple didn’t wait and she got pregnant SHE would be shamed for getting pregnant and were often sent away, disowned, forced to marry or worse. Yes, anyone can choose to abstain. I feel like the older generation easily says wait til marriage because it’s what they did and it was the norm and expected in those days. Kids got married at 16 and 17 yrs old, too young in my opinion to understand that commitment. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a fan of one parent households and families struggling financially and emotionally.
You gave this case absolutely perfect!!! I've heard others and pick yours!!! Great job Kevin. Praying they find their bodies, so sorry to the families. 😭
I was also a local when this case happened...(East Coast now), but I do remember how sad it was. This was also around the time of another big murder case in Douglas County... the Pasinetta Prince murder. It made big headlines in Omaha as well. Actually her murder occurred in February 2006, a few months before this one. Unfortunately it took detectives three years to solve her murder even though it was more clearcut than this case. Sad all around.
Hi Kevin! Hope you had a wonderful weekend 😊 Looking forward to learning about this new to me case! Thanks for always covering the lesser known stories, all victims deserve justice and to have their story heard ❤
Wow, to be working so many hours and juggling two girlfriends at the same time is one thing, but to have both of his girlfriends working at the same establishment and neither one knowing that the other was dating the same guy as she was is something else. I used to waitress at a couple restaurants back in the day, and everyone knew everyone else's business who worked there; perhaps because we all were friendly, and maybe these two, Jessica and Michelle, didn't converse with one another? You would think another coworker would have mentioned something -- gossiped, so to speak -- to one or the other or both of these ladies about who was dating whom within the restaurant, not even knowing that they were both dating the same guy/bartender. Anyhow, obviously still watching the video, but just wanted to chime in with that so far and thank you for the upload as well! Hope you are enjoying your weekend, Kevin.
Yeah that's very weird. My partner has another partner and honestly we both take up so much of his time that I don't know how the other one could possibly not know.
He stated that they met at a restaurant they worked together at, and showed a pic of the lone star restaurant at the same time. I think it meant like a previous job though, not the same restaurant
I can’t tell or not if the logo for your channel was edited since the last video. Coming from a Logo Designer myself it’s super cool and works so well! Great video also. Thanks JTL!!
I worked with her at Target; we closed together during her last shift. Also, I was in chemistry class with Chris-I tried to talk to him once and he just sorta smiled nervously and didn’t say anything
With the mattress and the fact that Chris bought paint to conceal the blood on the walls along with his other pregnant women being at his place the very next day I beleive she has more to do with the case than his father ever did.
Exactly. I feel the same way. Because what GF isn't going to notice the sheet-less bed and that stain? It was incredibly noticable from the side alone.
@@carolinapepsi3507 Yeah, and not just being stained, I'd suspect it was still wet or at least damp, and would smell of blood still as it will have gone into the mattress. But ... some people are particularly obtuse.

Me too. I suspected planted evidence long before that truth was exposed. That no action to free the man convicted on the basis of this was taken after it was discovered is mind-blowing. At the least he should receive a new trial.
Thank you for this comment. I was blown away more people hadn't mentioned this very important detail. Seems like that detective needs his own documentary. #andareview #ofallhiscases
Thank you Kevin, I’ve only been a subscriber for a couple weeks now and I’m glad to have found your channel. JTL has a no nonsense approach with real case media including evidence photos, surveillance footage, interrogation videos and all that great stuff we’ve come to demand from our true crime chroniclers. Kevin however has a voice that quietly conveys sincerity and compassion. Perhaps there’s no need for me to say it but - I’m a fan. Approaching 300,000 of us at this time, looks like I’m not the only one.
Did they ever question the other gf? Likely she’s the one who helped him move her body. That’s how the love triangle madness always plays out. As awful as that is. Seems to me a good interrogator could have gotten her to roll on him. The female usually does. She was pregnant… they could have put all sorts of pressure on her.
1. He's the last person she was on route to see. So unless a carjacking went.....oddly, and the blood spatter is co-inky-dink? He killed her 2. Sounds like someone had to have helped, carry her up those stairs.... unless he cut her up? (I don't know how likely that is) 3. His car wasn't the mode of transportation....not unless he's magical at cleaning. 4. After a few days, bodies float, unless weighed down very well! So while not excluding water, its iffy. It sounds like he meant to bury her, but was able to get a better option available....within his timeframe. 5. What was his timeframe for all this cleaning? While a week before the cops, he lived with people and had a job. So maybe 5-8 hrs max?
He definitely doesn't know how to clean considering the amount of blood on that uncovered flipped over mattress. It was more than enough evidence without everything else so not sure why the detective would plant it elsewhere. She has to be under that concrete somewhere... somewhere definitely close.
I wouldn't think the family would have to agree to it. Perhaps it would be discussed with them, but I don't think they have the final say-so in the matter. Although I would be outraged at the plea deal proposed in this specific case; that would just be a slap on the wrist for, really, a double murder.
Yes, this guy had motive I suppose. It wouldn't be the first time a guy killed his side chick when she got pregnant. The lack of dna is perplexing, but maybe he didn't use his sword? Maybe he (or his father) disposed of the murder weapon? Maybe they moved her body in his dad's vehicle? Someone obviously helped him, the guy who thinks there's no crime without a body would be confident in advising his son against a plea deal. Then again, if the dad got rid of the body maybe he didn't tell his son where. A plea deal would have been impossible. Lots of maybes, but someone should step up and tell her family where she is.
It also could of been the other girlfriend, she is pregnant, so you have a motive, Either way, I feel bad for the kid, police did a sloppy job on this one
Poor girl, too many times this has happened! Don't be eager to make anyone a father ladies, especially when they're making it clear they do not want it!
I don’t understand why women are blamed for pregnancy when it’s sp** that causes it! Why make the assumption she was eager to make him a father? It’s sad so many women are murdered bc they got pregnant-by the men’s actions that they don’t want to take responsibility for. She was willing to take responsibility for the child
Time is the only thing that we have when there’s such a huge loss. It will never take away the loss but time gives us a chance to see it feel it but not be driven by it which leaves room for healing and peace…. 😊I wish this for you and every family with such devastating loss
Biggest mistake these young girls make….. a pregnancy is NOT good news to most guys. She barely knew him…it’s so sad that a random relationship with some loser guy cost her her life. Murdering someone is never the answer, why do these narcissistic men think it is? All young women have got to start protecting themselves from unwanted pregnancy! Thanks for covering this very sad story❤
I got a girl I barely knew pregnant. I spent the next 20 years of my life with that woman raising my son and another daughter who came along 10 years later. Never once considered killing her so that sounds like a lame excuse. It was a horrible relationship that led to a horrible marriage and an expensive divorce at age 45. I lost everything, but this is what happens when you get busy with a girl you don’t really know or even like.
It’s a two way street!..if a guy doesn’t want a baby then he needs to take preventive measures…and not leaving it to chance and up to the female. And yes, females need to wake up to the fact that pregnancy is not love and won’t make them stay.. And this is coming from experience, not judgement. ❤
The father's arrogance got him the exact opposite result he thought he would get by refusing the plea deal.. Its good he's sentenced to a century, well done to justice dept. I think he did it anyway, the mattress seals it for me.
Gotta go back and continue investigation into the girlfriend. Personally, I'd find the most plausible theory of events revolves around the girlfriend showing up, finding Chris asleep next to Jessica, and hulking out on Jessica, herself. Subsequently, Chris goes out and buys what's needed to cover up and once they both get the body in the car, handles disposition... But if the investigators say she wasn't involved... ok.
After the first search of a crime scene has taken place, I’m thinking that additional searches should only take place with someone from Internal Affairs present.
regardless of the blood splatter in the car, he had a bloody mattress, motive, and opportunity. not to mention she also told people where she was going and who she was going to be with… not smart to deceive two women but literally why take her life… rip jessica 😢
Thank you Kevin for another great case. I truly appreciate your hard work and effort to bring excellent content.Remember self care, and give yourself grace.
Hi Kevin, I thoroughly enjoy your interpretation of US and GB criminal cases. You tell the story in such a succinct way, without all of the repititious dialogue and dramatic music, normally associated with this type of genre. Im hoping that one day you will be able to lend your treatment to some notorious OZ infractions. Australia only has a population of 25 million people but we punch above our weight when we focus on this subject Thanks Kevin.
I often wonder if these guys ever sit in their prison cell and think maybe I should have just broke up with her, got a divorce, took responsibility for my child etc instead of ya know MURDERING A HUMAN.
No, they do not. This guy quickly found that prison was brutal beyond his wildest imagination and he paid dearly. His whole existence is ruthless and absolute. His former life is not even a distant memory.
Great channel, thanks for the work. Unsensational presentation with no gimmicks. But you still managed to present everything in a very interesting manner. I appreciate it.
He absolutely is guilty the amount of blood on the mattress! The dad denying that plea deal is perfect !! Now he'll be in prison till the end!! Evil monster! Rest in peace Jessica ✝️💜
If one of my children were murdered and we could not find the body and the perpetrator of the murder could get less time if he would just tell me where the body is I would NOT accept that plea deal. No way. I'd rather the murderer spent life in prison or be executed. The plea deal offered in this case was outrageous. Good grief.
Love this guy makes it so easy to follow his stories I think it should be a way to force criminals to tell where they put their victims. I am sorry even if you go to their homes and destroy their families lives that’s just fair.
One of the most shocking aspects of this is these young people's total disregard for contraception. In my youth, we took our responsibilities more seriously.
Lmaooo that’s gotta be a joke! my dads mom had twins at 14, my mom’s mom got married and had her first at 18, my mom had 4 kids while on birth control and one when her tubes were tied. The millennials might be the first generation to actually take contraception seriously 🤣
You are so fucking ignorant. Do you actually understand and believe how bad it was during YOUR generation? IT WAS BAD, there was very little accountability back then! Sex health and education only improved during this past generation. Get off your high horse honey.
@@mackenziewilliams4507 Millenials? Get real. I don't know anyone who didn't take birth control seriously. No matter what format they chose. Only idiots don't think about this.
Any jurisdiction that would offer a deal like that to a person who chopped up someone just makes me realize how weak and pathetic our justice system is.
@Bettina You're out of your mind if you think the family thought 10 years was fair. If they did, than the prosecutor should tell them to fuck off forever!! America is so soft on violent crimes that its almost laughable.
Right? It's people like that who make it so we can't trust our justice system. If I'd sat on the jury that convicted that guy I'd wonder what evidence was actually real. Because obviously his department has been letting him get away with it for some time. Maybe they're not all fabricating evidence but maybe they are. Or maybe presenting things in a way so they're perceived a specific way that doesn't give the full picture, just the tiny part they want you to see. Yes, I want murderers locked away from those of us who know how to act but this investigator is far from the only one ever caught doing this (and more that haven't been caught) so if they're doing whatever it takes to lock up who they want to believe it is rather than the actual murderer, that means in some cases the murderer is actually still walking free.
What about those blood-stained towels found next to his car? I didn't hear that any testing was conducted on those... at least before he was arrested and charged; still watching though.
CSI David being shady to try and work his way up the ranks. His sentence was kind of a joke, but seeing that it was a felony, hopefully he is no longer working in any sort of law enforcement capacity. Anyhow, still do hope that they are able to find Jessica's body someday so that they can have a proper burial. Sad but interesting video. It will have to hold me over till your return, cuz I know you won't be uploading next Sunday. Till then, take care & stay safe!
Hello. I grew up in Omaha. For a while my husband and children and I lived near Cunningham Lake. We went on many hikes around the lake. They drained the lake at one time because of silt build-up, but obviously didn't find her. I'm so sorry for the family. Not only did her aunt lose Jessica, but also her precious great niece or nephew.
I've seen this tragic case on another channel a while bk, but Kevin you added more details, the mother of his living child just wtf!, how would you not know if your lover was having an affair? they say love is blind..and deaf too with this one
The internet is full of stories of people who didn't know their lovers were having affairs. It's also what kept Jerry Springer on the air for decades, and gave Maury Povich lots of "you are NOT the father" paternity test results. Apparently, lots of people trust their cheating partner, and get blind-sided.
He did it, he had motive and opportunity. He additionally had enough time to get rid of the body and clean up, his girlfriend and father know more about what happened and possibly assisted him to her rid of the body.
This was the comment I was looking for. I was thinking … doesn’t anybody else think his other gf helped him? He won’t rat her out because she’s pregnant with his other kid. But that’s always how those love triangles play out.

Good that he followed his dads advice. I have two sons, I love them and would do more or less anything for them, but I'd never protect them if they did things like this. Obviously i would still support them and have their backs, but I wouldn't think they shouldn't do the time, if they did something like this. But that forensic detective is an idiot, if he really planted evidence, I mean, guilty people could be released because of that.
He likely didnt really have a choice to take the deal. They would have just charged him with another murder upon finding the body - the babys. So he was screwed either way. Thats the only reason they gave him such a good deal - because they knew it wouldnt matter.
First I want to say I would like to send my condolences and prayers to her family and friends. I also want to thank you for sharing this and other cases like this. Yesrs ago it was something I had seen on T.V and I realized that I had been basically brainwashed into thinking everything was my fault, he broke my jaw but he didn't smack me intending to do it so it didnt matter etc If I disnt say whatever then he wouldnt have done it. Or even mentally beat me down where I hated myself and felt worthless. I didnt grow up on a household like that but I bevame a mom at 15 and when I met this guy he was good to my daughter that wasnt even his. When I watched somwthing I realized just how bad of a relationship I was in. Part of it was probably also being older at this point 22 and losing my mother. But its thanks to ppl like you that share these things because sometimes something could click and even if its just 1 person that matters so thank you!!

This was on an episode of Forensic Files, which by complete coincidence, was just on TV before I watched this
When I heard period blood and seen the mattress pic, I was pretty sure he was guilty. When I heard that his father said, "could not convict his son without a body" instead of, "don't take the deal because you're innocent." I was all in on guilty.
I wonder what would’ve happened if he’d said she miscarried in his bed… just a thought. Glad he’s locked up!
That photo of the mattress pic was proof. Idk if you've ever seen how much blood a period produces, but.. it ain't that much, even over the course of an entire week.
I looked up the mattress too. It's down right insulting and comical at the same time that this was his argument.
Wow! Great coverage. Christopher's father really screwed his son. Probably had a lot to do with the son's behavior in general.
Thanks Meena!
I thought the same.
@@dinabern3121 Certainly has a huge impact....
I will never understand why a man would choose to kill a woman rather than break her heart by telling her the truth.
Coward
I think it was financial based as well....
He didn’t want his other girlfriend to find out, and, the matter of child support.
So the father says: "They'll not convict him because there's no body" and not because he didn't do it 🤔

My parents would never protect me or defend me if there was any evidence found that I killed somebody.

I wouldn’t be surprised if his father helped him remove her body. I can’t imagine what Jessica’s family is going thru.
I wouldn't be surprised either but then thought it couldn't be his dad because that man would've been smart enough to get rid of or clean that mattress right? I mean that was a ton of blood that hadn't even tried to be cleaned or covered with some new sheets or something. Seems like something a teenager would do.
Someone definitely helped him. Someone had to have picked him up from work because Jessica's car was found in parking lot near Lone Star.
@@Elaine-br4lw I'm betting that gf. I know me tho, I'd turn my kid in in a second. I'd force him to tell me the truth too.

Ugh.
Famous quotes: Its the quiet ones you need to watch out for.
George Carlin. 😵💫
That’s sad
KARMA!!! 😃😃😃
RIP Jessica. ❤🙂
I hope Chris is doing okay in Prison, and that he can hopefully get his Sentence reduced or overturned.

Yes! Kevin's voice and presentation are both perfect for these sad stories.
Plea deals absolutely blow my mind, as does the theory that without a body there is no crime. I understand the victims families reasoning for plea deals, and wanting to find their loved ones body, but the extreme leniency of the proposed plea deal for this particular case is ridiculous and disgusting!
Would you rather say goodbye to your loved one or not? Put yourself in their shoes.
Couldn't agree more!
But a plea deal is not leniency if the accused is innocent. I'm not speaking about this case, but in general, the police don't offer a plea deal unless they don't have enough strong evidence to assure a conviction. That could mean innocence.
Lots of reasons for a plea offer not just for lack of evidence!

Kevin, you have a great voice for narration! Love the channel. God be with you brother. God be with us all! 🙏🤗
1. He's the last person she was on route to see. So unless a carjacking went.....oddly, and the blood spatter is co-inky-dink? He killed her
2. Sounds like someone had to have helped, carry her up those stairs.... unless he cut her up? (I don't know how likely that is)
Did the family agree to that 5-10 year deal? Letting the guy out after only 5 years just for the sake of finding her remains seems over-the-top.
They had no case. They were lucky to get the conviction and luckier it wasn't screwed up by that crooked forensics guy.
I wouldn't think the family would have to agree to it. Perhaps it would be discussed with them, but I don't think they have the final say-so in the matter. Although I would be outraged at the plea deal proposed in this specific case; that would just be a slap on the wrist for, really, a double murder.
They wanted to know where the body was. It's really hard to heal without a grave to mourn.
In exchange for her body. They'd have agreed
The narrative, narrator, editing, brilliant. Your channel’s a great find.
Why do these people think that murder will solve their problems . So sad . Sad for their victim .
It would eliminate child support in one case!
THAT is the question!
Thank you for your videos! Walks me through every step. Best channel I have seen so far. Thumbs up! Please keep the videos coming!
It also could of been the other girlfriend, she is pregnant, so you have a motive,
Either way, I feel bad for the kid, police did a sloppy job on this one

Biggest mistake these young girls make….. a pregnancy is NOT good news to most guys. She barely knew him…it’s so sad that a random relationship with some loser guy cost her her life. Murdering someone is never the answer, why do these narcissistic men think it is? All young women have got to start protecting themselves from unwanted pregnancy! Thanks for covering this very sad story❤
So we should use birth control to avoid being murdered?
#banforcedpregnancy
I got a girl I barely knew pregnant. I spent the next 20 years of my life with that woman raising my son and another daughter who came along 10 years later. Never once considered killing her so that sounds like a lame excuse. It was a horrible relationship that led to a horrible marriage and an expensive divorce at age 45. I lost everything, but this is what happens when you get busy with a girl you don’t really know or even like.
Sounds like you’re victim blaming
It’s a two way street!..if a guy doesn’t want a baby then he needs to take preventive measures…and not leaving it to chance and up to the female.
And yes, females need to wake up to the fact that pregnancy is not love and won’t make them stay..
And this is coming from experience, not judgement. ❤

I love your voice so much, Kevin. It is so richly expressive.
But if the investigators say she wasn't involved... ok.
You really think he’s so chivalrous he’s cover for her? I sure don’t.
After the first search of a crime scene has taken place, I’m thinking that additional searches should only take place with someone from Internal Affairs present.
or by another department (like the state police in this case)
regardless of the blood splatter in the car, he had a bloody mattress, motive, and opportunity. not to mention she also told people where she was going and who she was going to be with… not smart to deceive two women but literally why take her life… rip jessica 😢

If one of my children were murdered and we could not find the body and the perpetrator of the murder could get less time if he would just tell me where the body is I would NOT accept that plea deal. No way. I'd rather the murderer spent life in prison or be executed. The plea deal offered in this case was outrageous. Good grief.
If all cases before had been found not guilty without a body I can see why they offered a plea deal
Absolutely ridiculous to offer a plea. Can't believe they offered that.
Best part is when the cops don't have shit, but the guy turns himself in and confesses.
Love this guy makes it so easy to follow his stories
I think it should be a way to force criminals to tell where they put their victims. I am sorry even if you go to their homes and destroy their families lives that’s just fair.
iT's So eAsY t0 f0LLow hiS sT0riEs
You are a sick puppy if you believe that. Destroying the family of a criminal is never justified, for any reason.
Thank you for your great work👍
One of the most shocking aspects of this is these young people's total disregard for contraception.
Only idiots don't think about this.
agree...but why not just keep yourself a virgin and wait for your husband on 'that special night' after your married.....
@@mackenziewilliams4507 exactly! I don't know how someone could believe unwanted youth pregnancies are just a current thing.
All the twists and turns so well explained.
Any jurisdiction that would offer a deal like that to a person who chopped up someone just makes me realize how weak and pathetic our justice system is.
Compared to what? Saudi Arabia?...Singapore?
I didn't hear anything about her being chopped up. Did I miss that part?
It's not the justice system it's the family of the victim. They prosecutors almost always ask what the family wants, not always but mostly.
@loveforeignaccents You missed everything. She was stabbed to death with a samurai sword. Did he miss a stab or two for you?
@Bettina You're out of your mind if you think the family thought 10 years was fair. If they did, than the prosecutor should tell them to fuck off forever!! America is so soft on violent crimes that its almost laughable.
The crime scene investigator “superstar” is suspicious with how he magically finds evidence that others passed up.
Yeah that's concerning
Interesting that the guy accused of planting false evidence doesn't say he didn't do it,he says there is no way to prove it!
He says both.
Sorry but the bloody mattress can't be ignored.
Loved Your Video and also Your Soothing Voice ❤️🩹
What about those blood-stained towels found next to his car? I didn't hear that any testing was conducted on those... at least before he was arrested and charged; still watching though.
Really enjoy your coverage.
Thanks!
18 months is absurd
Pretty easily.
The same way the majority of people who are cheated on don't know... till they finally get caught.
People are sneaky as fuck.
They all worked together, very strange.
great channel
He did it, he had motive and opportunity. He additionally had enough time to get rid of the body and clean up, his girlfriend and father know more about what happened and possibly assisted him to her rid of the body.
This was the comment I was looking for. I was thinking … doesn’t anybody else think his other gf helped him? He won’t rat her out because she’s pregnant with his other kid. But that’s always how those love triangles play out.
Great job as usual! Keep up the great work!
You're so close to the big 100k! I know that you will continue to grow cuz you give us quality content and are always respectful of the victims. I look forward to your new videos and you never disappoint. Thank you for all the hard work and dedication you put into your videos! ❤️😁
Yeah, her blood all over his room but he didn’t do anything… he and his family are ridiculous.
@@scorch4299 I actually didn't think about that, but you do have a very valid point.
@@scorch4299 I think you might be onto something. Clever stuff.
