      They do what they’re allowed. Devs are just employees. They don’t have as much authority as people think. Developer is just the job title. Their bosses range from the supervisor to the investors and shareholders

      That's so true @Xizziano! I've studied game development modules before & realised that it's really not easy to just create the games you want/envisioned due to factors you mentioned. It's a sad truth but nonetheless one we have very little control over.

    I love this character and and their skills! I play as an assassin in everygame I play, that offers one as a choice. Sad to see that DD2 removed the Assassin class.

      Hi @azizjacko3222, yeah, it's kinda like a mix & match of skills already in game.
      It's done via Skill Maker (another mod).
      With it, you're able to access the assets (like animations, skills, magic & effects) in the game itself, then setting nodes, adjusting timeframes & etc. to get the desired animations that you want.

    I'd try this if it were toned down a lot. That's just personal preference though. Definitely really cool.

      I'll probably be making a version without the Darkborn abilities, i.e. less fanciful with no/less teleportation. Will update you here once it's done!

      Will probably do up a video showcase on that once I have the time.

    Hello can you make illusionist that creates real like clone phantasms not similar to trick also uses a staff

      Hi @TheForbidden-qq3eg, from what I've tested, I don't think it's possible in Skill Maker to create clone phantasms. Thought of something similar like Black Myth: Wukong's clone spell, not gonna work =(

    I love all the idea of your mods but all the skills are so extremely overpowered and flashy that remove any challenge from the game (and hurt the eyes 😅)

      Hi @fammilogga, thanks for liking my ideas & for your honest opinion!
      It is true that the skills are overpowered 😅 partly due to that the damage is tied to individual animation that I have no control over on how those could be adjusted individually.
      The intended style by the game designer is more toward a challenging, slow-paced journey & skill-navigated exploration direction, but my mods are intended for a fast/smooth, feeling powerful & stylish/cinematic direction (that's why Film Art & that's why Darkborn & Forbidden). The directions are very different; hence the challenge is no doubt changed from "finding ways to killing enemies" to "finding the most stylish ways to finishing enemies".
      I enjoyed the game as it was & the mods are created such so that I could enjoy the game longer with different playstyles. Sharing it freely as a mod to others is more so to share the kind of joy I experienced through these different styles of playing. No doubt not everyone would enjoy these experiences as it is of different game genres to different gamers.
      But understanding from your point of view, it does also inspire me to think of different fun styles that I could probably try out as well! Will definitely try something different, haha... provided that I have the time & that my interest in the game is still there 😅
