Yea he forgot to add you either need to be a beastren or have the mask you can get from the forger at the checkpoint town. Some of The wandering merchants sell them too

A easy but kinda expensive way to get a fruit wine in Vernwerth
Find a kid named sven in the market square and buy and certain object for him from the vendor he stands at. After that youll meet him everyday at the water fountain and talk to him. He'll give you a different gift each time (really nice stuff,ill let yall see for yourself). During this time i had bought the 20000 dollar house and he put fruit wine as a gift hangin outside my door!!!

For people who want to do this early game and also get some mid - late game chests, get thief and level it until you get shadow veil (or the skill before it). The skill makes you ALMOST invisible at the cost of stamina and could loot most of the chests along the way without any problem.

Unfortunately cannot use the thiefs master skill as a warfarer. @@CharlesVanexX
If any of you are confused on how to actually use two different weapons and or more, you have to use the scroll that the maister gave you (the drunk).
The scroll will unlock an ability called rearmament which will now allow you to equip more than one weapon at a time while using the class. You will have to equip rearmament as it is a weapon skill in one of your skill slots.
lol best part of Warfarer is it builds exp for ALL unlock vocations slowly....leveling them all up whether you are using them or not. It also seems to level the one where you have a weapon equipped a little more. AND you don't need to learn rearmament and lose a skill. You can just change to any weapon in your inventory.
Tested it a bit and it gives 50% DCP to the Wayfarer and splits the rest to the remaining classes. It doesnt matter if you have them equipped. So if you gain 100 DCP, Wayfarer gets 50 and everything else gets 5-6.
It does seem to round up, so if you get like 87, Wayfarer gets 44 and everything else 5, so you get 3 "for free," which is pretty insignificant in the long run. But there's no DCP benefit in leveling as Wayfarer.
@@melanp4698 It levels everything incredibly fast in some of the final areas where rewards are higher. In 4 hours warfarer went to 8 and the 7 classes that were at 1 all went to 4.

@@JJBCrimsonKnight Sadly not :( Even if you have maxed out all vocations except 1, it will only get 5% of DCP with Warfarer equipped.
@@seanmacha2668 The first few levels go by extremely fast, that is by design. The grind starts around 7-9, that's when they'll take a while.
"Outside Higgs’s Tavern, to the left of the entrance, is a small fenced area and two bags. You first want to put on a Beastren Mask if you are human, because the shop only lets in Beastren. If you haven’t obtained a mask already, they can be purchased at Ibrahim’s Scrap Shop at the Checkpoint Rest Town. While wearing the mask pick up one of the bags with R2/RT and drop it into the fenced area."
Let's just say I learned it the hard way and got myself in Jail due to not wearing a mask and as a human 🤪

Not sure if youve included this in a video yet tag, havent heard it yet, but enhancing gear tips would be a really good idea. Verund is where you want to enhance gear for an even split of stats, elf village if you want to level magick defense and magick attack, while bakbahhtal is for strength and physical defense!

a nice perk of warfarer is the fact it can equip any gear. so even if you dont care for weapon swapping, you can basically just make a sorcerer decked out in heavy armor. or a warrior in more magick defense centered outfit as that usually hits you far harder than physical damage. it's fcking awesome. granted the stat boost from the vocation wouldnt be as strong but considering a LOT of your stats come from gear anyway, that shouldnt be an issue here. plus apparently max level is 999. chances are nothing lives once you get in the 100's anyway.
Which means I can make a magic archer wear trickster outfit

Theres a mod on pc that lets you swap skills with a button. Making it perfect for the weapon swap skill. Also your stats stop improvement after a certain level. Cant remember which as i modded exp.

took me a good 5 hours when i got it in the early hours of this morning. I didn't get the newt wine first and therefore had to go back to battahl to get them and run back
If you manage to anger the newt liquor merchant in Bhataal, for example if you try to move his sacks as a human (he'll sic the guards on you) you can wait and return to his shop and go to the upstairs room, he'll be there and sell to you like normal, beastren mask or not.

@@dingdong6563 No prob, I was pissed and looking all over the place for it. The problem isn't how rare the newt liquor is, it's the scarcity of the fruit wine if you wanna craft it yourself
All I can say is good luck to anyone trying to do this very early in game. I did half of this route just to unlock trickster when I was level 11 and it was brutal.
leaving your pawns behind and managing stamina is key
I did took me nearly 5 hours. But it was for mystic archer which was actually harder because the quest involves enemies that are way way stronger than you.
Get mystic spearhand or whatever it's called, the shield ability is so broken it makes everything easy

I found a way to Bypass Drabnir's grotto:
If you go to the coastline outside of Bakbattahl and wait a griffon will eventually show up climb it and ride it.
When riding it it will fly over the bridge just north of the Windwalker's home.
Where is the coastline located?
Make sure you go back tho, it has good loot, lots of money and a high damage one handed weapon - probs more etc

What is this coast you speak of? The Gryph at the front wants to fight, and I don't have enough Stem to hang on
For those who want to use that sneak in method. Wait for the ox cart at the checkpoint town. Once it is there walk towards the bar and there is a bench on the right to the left of the staircase. Doze off on that bench. Get up and go look if the fancy one is there. If not doze off again and it should show up. If that didn't work do the ox cart wait again and you will get the fancy one guaranteed to show up. Have no idea how it works but you can replicate it at any time by doing that. Hope that helps!

When I dropped the sack to the fenced area like you've mentioned I got arrested, lost all my stuff with both the newt liquors, and had to pay 44k for a bribe. Thanks a lot for that..

They only let beastren customers in.
next time you get sent to jail, there might be a broken wall you have to punch to escape or a vase that has a key in it after breaking it... you dont have to pay
You can go to the border checkpoint and also copy the liquor at the forgery
PLEASE NOTE: There are NO Saurian Tails in that room in the research lab. There are only saurian SCALES, which are of exactly zero use for this. Something I wish I had known before spending 2 hours getting there on foot from Verworth!
Secondly, I was a fully maxed Archer, level 25, when I set out with a party to match and I got my shit absolutely rocked along the way. This POS journey took me 2.5 real days to complete. It’s a nonstop goblin gangbang once you hit the road. Get ready for unrelenting fuckery from every single type of foe. Sometimes all at the same time.
Also, unless you’ve have a beastren mask when you talk to the beastren outside of Higgs Tavern, you’re gonna get sucker punch by a huge mob when you pick up that bag. I respawned and the bags were gone and I was unable to buy any Newt Liquer from the tavern.

Thank you for this guide! This is super helpful. Question if you don't mind me asking, what is the lowest level you recommend going for this on, and doing this doesn't mess up any side-quests or interactions, right? I'd hate to find out I glitched or messed up an interaction because I went too far ahead. I know some NPCs approach you with quests and they can, I believe, have time limits- I'm worried about that sort of thing!
Few things.
Wayfarer doesn't get other classes ultimate skills.
Weapon determines class skill and associated passives that come with said weapon when out.
Wayfarer splits earned xp to all the other vocations.
It has reduced stats compared to others.
Haven't unlocked it yet, but Can you only run one skill per weapon? or after equiping rearm, can you have three for each weapon?
Nvm, found out, hyped died for that class.
@Alan-mc9yx which is it? I was under the impression you could have 3 skills per weapon 1 skill slot being rearmament.
Unfortunately, you only get 3 skill slots since the warfarer skill that switches weapons takes a slot. You can equip all 9 weapon types but only have any 3 skills. Also no maister skills can be used.
@@aaroncrilly1605 Sadly no, I do hope they change it. Right now it is "4 skills for one weapon or 2 skills for one weapon, one for another, and one for rearm or 1 skill for each weapon up to 3 (1 for weapon 1, 1 for weapon 2...) and rearm being the fourth. The plus side is you get to use any armor, it levels all vocs albeit slower, but it does, if im not mistaken all augment that are unlocked and equipped are always active, the passives you unlock are active when using that weapon same as core skills. And you can equip up to 9 weapons and cycle through, but you only get three total skill no matter what. Straight bummer. Was soooo hyped for the class being able to make our own builds with cool combos and skill synergies. But alas, nope. I'll keep my head high though, hopefully, they will change it, as more people unlock. I've seen a great deal of people unlock, and be seriously disappointed.

For the Newt Liqueur, if you don't want to go through a proper odyssey to get those, just kidnap the gard upstairs at the tavern, go kill him somewhere quiet, and then the door will be open and you can buy the liqueur.😊
7:38 I picked it up, placed to the spot and the the beastren was angry and made whole the town hunt my ass instead of inviting me to the tavern.

If you just stand at the gate after they shut it they will open it again, you can run right past the guards they will chase you and not be happy but you can do it that way to
I'm def getting warfarer. I didn't know this class existed and I was hoping something like this was gonna be dlc lol
I went for Magic Archer and Thief combo, Mostly Thief's Skull Splitter for the most damage up close and for Magic Archer I use Ricochet Hunter and Sagittate Avalanche. I melt bosses and kill anything really fast. and having the dodge from Thief is amazing too.

I’d suggest using the thief vocation with formless feint, it’ll help in the caves and even during the escort when you’re bombarded with enemies and your pawns are unalived, additionally the thief’s twin fangs finisher hold ability is clutch at taking care of staggered or off balance enemies with minimal effort- even with enemies of higher level.
There’s also a guy there named Earland. Human, long hair, tattoos. He will sell you one for 2k.

cann you play as warfarer and lvl up the other vocations that way or by choosing the specific voc??
Use the quick step for thief to get thru the gates going to volcanic island so that u get to the camp sight first then set a port crystal there before you meet the old man. When it’s time to take him to the spring pick him up and use a ferry stone boom way easier
The oxecart is pretty common i think. I used it when i traveled down there without knowing it would even work. Very excited about that 😅
Now I feel bad I made him walk the whole way to the spring 😭😭😭😭😭
When I ran into a minotaur in the cave. I was not taking chances. I picked up that old man, juked the minotaur and ran while my pawns distracted it. Then as I approached the camp, the gate was being zerged by fucking saurions. I love this game.
Bro i went to put the bags in the cage thing and got 12 enemies on me and ive tried using the beastren mask but it doesnt work.
Question I got the liquor from the lab but I’m not able to mix the fruit wine also when I put the bundle in the beast guy fence I went to jail

Every time i pick up the bag to move it an old guy yells for the gaurds, and they all attack me. (Updated: Wear a Beastren mask, and instead of calling the guards, he calls you a friend and escorts you inside)

Pro tip if you want you can have a forgey made of the newt liquor and it counts
would be interesting to see stat growth and how skills unlock when leveling early as warfarer only vs a character who leveled all vocations and then leveled warfarer.
All your stats change when you change your class I believe. So you don’t have to min max to get the most out of any one class now.
Stat growth doesn't work the way it did in the first game. It wouldn't make a difference.
@panmeza4828 "permanent" stats dependent on vocation are actually a thing still. Though, at 200, I heard it all equalizes so if you get that far it won't matter (if it's true that at 200 they're the same base)
@@SmolGriffith Are you sure? I've leveled myself as warrior and pawn as mage, then to test it switched us both to archer but our base stats were different. I had more base strenght and they had more base magic. So far doesn't look different from the 1st game
@romariomejia5396 Vocations has some built in stats until level 200 for example Fighter will have more hp than a mage. But long term, since the max level is 999, those stats are minor.
Theres an npc in vernwurth that talks about seeing a dwarf and elf walking together holding hands or something. Glad to know who he was talking about
What I love about mystic is that you’re immune to damage for a few seconds. this is what helped me beat the final boss without dying.

Theif us just OP. Sadly won't find any class get better damage wise. Warfarer you can combine thief with spearhand and is really good
I think warrior is competitive dps wise, you just really gotta get the positioning/ timing elements dialed in perfectly
idk man wild furie is pretty strong
thief is the best class for single target dps nothing come close to it, warfarer can wield daggers too but they get lower stats so you better off going thief.
Warfarer is best if you want to play paladin type of class.
I got to Higgs Tavern stand but when u try talk to the npc he's not a vendor and the name of the place doesn't show on my map.
The forbidden relationship is completely backwards, but you get it little homie🤙🏽
I dont know if anyone has said this yet saw this on reddit or another video but you can get a free permit in vernworth when the pawn saids your being followed dont accept the bribe when catch them
Just to keep from getting jumped grab the mask form the vendor in the checkpoint town. That way when you move the bags everything goes smoothly.

It can be the best vocation once you have mastered everything else since you can use other skills from other vocations
You can also have the forger to make a copy of the Newt Liquor if you already have one... I was able to craft 2 and just had the forger make the 3rd
I slaughtered my way through the gate out of pure anger
it took me a while to using grandmasters path is the way to learn the rearmament skill for those still wondering why they couldn't switch weapons
You can unlock mystic archer ontw to unlock warfarer if you stop at the hut that's right before the volcanic village and escort the dwarf to the hotsprings where the bum you need to see is
Kinda dislike being forced to use only 3 weapon skill slots, especially when Rearmament has 9 weapon slots that we can switch too.
It would've been awesome if Rearmament switched the 3 weapon skills slots to the ones that you have equipped for that exact Vocation.
Well here's hoping that they think of adding that in future updates.
i did this on level 21 when i already had access to bakbattahl and i died at least 15 times. good luck to anyone early game trying to do this.

Edit. I finally got through it after running it about 50 times because my pawns sacrificed themselves by knocking the support beams ontop of themselves and caused me to get killed everytime. Lol
For those who can’t buy at Higgs Tavern, you have to be a beastren to be invited after throwing a sack in the pen.
What if I destroyed both sacks by throwing them at eachother and now they won’t spawn back in?
Or you can wear a Beastren mask...

to those wondering you can make fakes of the newt wine as well. had a hard time getting my third so i copied my second newt wine at the check point shop before turning in quest.
There's more than just one way or two ways to get in there if you happen to walk past the opening card the opening gate with that Ox car going past you can run past with it and then if you happen to have a pork Crystal you can set it down and you can use a Fairy Stone to get across these aren't the only two ways to get across that he mentioned

I just by a tiger mask for the vendor below in check point and a merchant permit besters or whatever and the guy let me pass lol whiout taking the long trip

Yeah, i am using a greatsword and it is really useful, i use the hook that Lets you attract enemies to yourself of the daggers and it helps a lot with small enemies and flying enemies, bosses too. Greatsword is there to do a lot of damage.

You can forge the liqueur in Checkpoint Town for 6000 g and it stacks with the real liqueur. Oh thanks for the upload much appreciated

I got the wayfarer class in postgame but he didn’t give me the magister scroll and I can’t find him anywhere now
You can absolutely be a single-vocation warfarer, using it to level up your other vocations while sticking to your favorite. This way, you can stick to your favorite vocation while gradually maxing out the others.
Can we get some gameplay of the warfarer? I haven't seen anybody use it in action yet

💡Hire pawns that are really high levels. Like around 35 or so.

Can someone please tell me at what point in the early game can I get this vocation cause you can't unlock it as early as most of the guides say unless my game is bugged. The moment I got the quest to travel to Vernworth I set out to get these vocations I didn't go to the capital city of Vernworth or complete any of the quest. I made my way to Bakbattahl nothing happened no bar fight when I passed that bar, no bags outside the black market liquor dealer. Then I decided I'm going to look for the dwarf and his elven wife found them dude isn't suffering any back pains he's in great health. I thought maybe the passage of time would start them up, but nope. So please some tell me is there a set of missions I have to be on in the early game to get all these interactions that aren't triggering or is my game just bugged and you can do it literally at the beginning of the game like most of these guides claim you can? Also I have the beast mask that doesn't matter it has to be linked with the actual progression of the story missions cause I went there 3 different times before I decided that it might be the case as to why I can't get the items I need.
I dunno if it's just me, but the warfarer kinda sucks? I get 3 total skills to choose from all vocations and that's... it? I was expecting the rearmament to let me swap to magick archer and have 4 magick archer skills, then i could swap to say thief and get 4 thief skills and so on as long as I had a weapon of each type and had leveled each vocation up... the fact it doesn't work this way kinda makes me not interest in it at all really. It's just bad because I have to choose what, 1 archer, 1 magick archer and 1 mage skill and then... that's supposed to be a win? Nah, It's pointless imo. I'll prob not even use rearmament and just be a "Warfarer" magick archer to get experience faster. Equipping any gear is nice for fashion, but doesn't even remotely feel worth in any way how it is designed.
This is a single player game, I'd prefer it be just a weapon swap gets you 4 skills of said vocation or else yeah kinda feels super bad to give up a skill just to get access to two from other vocations.

3:05 yeah I did this then I later found the east coast has one in the Guerco mountain pass. I was dumb because I camped as the fire and was gonna explore those woods but a drake was there and at the time I was way too weak.

Higs tavern doesn’t work for me…I picked up the hay stack and then dropped it & the guy called the guards and I got arrested…now the shop keeper just speaks a line of dialog and doesn’t open shop for me to buy anything….
Sit at bench doze off in checkpoint rest town doze off cross bridge in afternoon oxcart will spawn across bridge
so...for some reason i don't have the rearmament skill. i must've obtained the class wrong? because i just talked to the guy in the post game after evacuating everyone and it unlocked the class for me.
Rest until night at the checkpoint town, then go a little out of town and one will spawn. If you wait in town it may take forever

Can anyone here help me how to get ryuka, this blasted npc in an area between vernworth and the starting area where you first fought the cyclops at the intro. I got him at night and i had to deal with skeletons just to be his bodyguard to this yellow marker to the east. Found out its blocked, the main road, and seems i need to detour to eastern forest. Thing is, im checking online how to get this man off my way by finishing its quest, however that place seems to be the nameless village that will be part of the main quest. Im not yet doing main quests since im grinding to max archer and thief first. Anyone can confirm if ryuka is indeed going to the nameless village and will i trigger some main quests if i get there before captain brant gives the quest? Thanks.
