How did you do? if you don't mind my asking
I just want to say that this is so helpful!! I have almost lost all hope I took the Teas 6 and missed it by .8 to achieve proficient. Then a year later took the TEAS 7 (no longer TEAS 6) this time I was not proficient by 1.5 (did worse). I have one more shot or I cannot get into my nursing program, I have completed all of my pre-requisites for the LPN to RN bridge program. I am beyond frustrated that a standardized test is holding me back from achieving my goals but I will NOT give up!!

@@lauramittenhuber2956 They aren't going to be the same exact questions verbatim, but the online tests especially from here will give you a *very* good idea of what to expect and a wonderful way to study. I've already had quizzes in my biology class that this place has helped me tremendously!

I take my TEAS 7 this Thursday and I have been prepping for 2 months. I did really well in my science classes for my prerequisites but I’m going through all 4 sections watching videos just to do one last skim but praying for the best🙏🏾.

@@SmartEditionAcademy Hey I needed a 58.7 to apply and I made a 65.3% overall with my gpa of 3.5. The nursing program required a 2.75 to apply. I’m just happy that I passed above the overall score and my gpa is higher so hoping I get that acceptance letter 🤞🏾

Just took the science portion of the free practice test on your website. With no studying I'm at 29/50 or 58%. Hoping with me studying I can get it up to 75% at least for science alone. I need a 65% overall score for my program. How many times can I retake the free science practice portion on your website? Do the questions change?
You can take the free practice test as many times as you like, however the questions do not change and what you might run into is you start to memorize the same questions after seeing them multiple times. Im watching your video but am extremely defeated. Your questions for practice tests make sense and I have gotten each one right. I purchased an official guide studying the 2022-2023 official ATI TEAS study manual and the questions are MUCH harder. Its very in depth questions about the endocrine system, and quite a bit of chemsitry. I am feeling unsure of what to even study now.
You should study both, it's great to have more than one resource.

Does the LH and FSH question depend on age? I would have got that wrong only because I was thinking of women going into menopause would have a decrease in FSH? But as a young girl going into puberty would experience an increase in FSH and LH, but maybe I misunderstood what FSH and LH did in the body. Can you explain this to me?

The question at 40:00 is confusing for me, because autotrophs (plants) use the inorganic material CO2 to create energy. I know they use minerals in the soil as well, but CO2 is the primary source of plant’s energy and biomass. I don’t understand why that option would be incorrect. I think that might just be a bad question. Great video though!
Literally the google definition of an autotroph is “an organism that is able to form nutritional organic substances from simple inorganic substances such as carbon dioxide.”
I think the answer really is supposed to be CO2, because autotrophs DON’T produce energy from minerals. The energy comes from using sunlight to oxidize the water and reduce the CO2 into glucose. Minerals are important in small amounts to facilitate the plants cellular processes, but the energy directly comes from photosynthesis, which in itself doesn’t require minerals at all.
I suppose minerals are needed in the form of phosphate in aerobic cellular respiration, and maybe that is what the question is getting at? But the energy is still produced from CO2 and minerals, so the question still doesn’t make much sense.

Are the practice tests for Allied Heath fields? Or just nursing? Im applying to the Dental Hygiene Program.

I’ve seen this question on other ATI TEAS practice tests and it’s simply incorrect. The kidneys filter the blood and produce urine. Some practice tests even have a question where the answer is that the kidneys produce urine. I’m not sure where this question originally came from but it’s not correct. I looked up many sources and even emailed my former physiology professor, and they all agree that the kidneys filter blood to produce urine. Blood goes in, urine comes out.

I registered after watching this to take t he practice test, but it tells me I do not have access. Am I suppose to register for the class before I can take a practice e test? Terrible. If not, That should be explained.

How do the grade the teas
The TEAS is broken out into 4 subjects and each subject gets a seperate score 0-100%, to get your cumulative score you can take your 4 individual scores and add them together then divide that number by 4. If you go through the comments you'll read that it is similar, our practice tests and questions are designed to be very similar to the actual test in terms of the topics that are covered, the way the questions are asked and the level of difficulty.
i hope the teas is as easy as this
The TEAS is a pretty challenging test especially for the science section mostly because there are so many topics covered within this section so there is just a lot you need to know that may or may not end up being on the test. In general there is a good chance the questions you see might be slightly more challenging than this. 18:06 I love the fact that there was a tip saying parasympathetic equals 🟰 no peace I am that type of person that I need little abbreviations to remind me of so much terminology to this test with math and science so little goofy things in this matter actually helps significantly.
