Maybe it’s just me but the explanation for question #1 was wordy and a little all over the place… I mean it got there but again just my opinion…

The way I solved it was just using the quadric formula.

For number 3.) 60x30 is 1800.

Correct. And then you divide 1,800 by 100 which is 18
