As a pre-nursing student taking my microbiology course, our class is practicing the different staining methods during lab days. Today we will focus on the acid-fast stain to identify the gram + and gram -.
Good video, but have some not so accurate statements. Gram negative outer membrane is not just made of phospholipid bilayer, it also have lipopolysaccharides. Not all bacteria have capsules, some just have a slime layer.
Perfect communication is difficult in a video that needs to be succinct and accessible.
That's why it's great to have people like you coming in and helping out in the comments section. Thankyou
