Great video, thanks. A couple tidbits: In addition to the "Standby Me" bridge, I think they also used the McCloud train (shutdown 2010). The town of McCloud is further North and nearby and notable are the "Three Falls" of the McCloud River. The McCloud River is one of the "arms" of Shasta Lake. The historical Sierra Nevada Brewery also raised millions of dollars for the city of Paradise and local communities which were all but destroyed by fire. The fire was shortly before Thanksgiving and Sierra Nevada Brew, opened its' doors to those that lost their homes just prior. I mention all this as I was planning to retire from the Bay Area to the town of Paradise. After the fire, I looked at the towns of Birney and McCloud, but both being an amenity (or two), too far. Thanks again for the video, I Shared it to commemorate "World Environment Day🌍"
Love Burney Falls! Be careful hiking upstream of the falls as apparently it’s private property. I was fishing up there and a landowner pulled a gun on me and told me to get off his land!
Dang!! That would be scary. I did read up there is tons of private property up there. Burney Falls is so awesome! I'll definitely research the areas before going; yikes!! 😳
