Always better to hear from you Martin, much more personal and far more interesting than music overdubs, regardless of how nice the music might be!! The drawing and colour work are brilliant as always.
Yes yes yes… the endless same same same nonsensical video-editing trends these days with irritating distracting background music, stupid splitsecond videoclips of dumb faces and ancient soapopera scenes and fake fake fake everything are destroying viewerships - so good to see simple clean tutorials without attempting to make pretend-grandiose cinematic entertainment - much appreciated to see a back to basics approach !
@@MartinLachmairArtOhh fantastic, I'm from Nebraska, United States, and believe me, I'm very happy with your great art because it motivates me to continue growing, and thank you for your accurate explanations for us.
Thank you Sir, you have inspired me so much in my watercolor journey. Your class/tutorial at Sketching Retreat 2024 was one of my favorites ❤💛💙 and my first dip pen and ink are coming next week, I cannot wait to make splashes like you. Each one of your tutorials carry so much knowledge and you have definitely helped meme in finding my own style, thank you!
Let's make it international....Greetings from the Netherlands. 😁 Martin, did you do a video on how to soluble the ink? I do know you have various glas pots with different kinda greys of ink. It's more on how to measure the amount of ink and right amount of water.
Hello to the Netherlands from Austria ;-). Well in about one hour there will be another tutorial with that topic. Shading with the not dried ink. The glasses with ink and water, are just try and error. Some drops of ink and water, more water, till its ok for you. so no great science. ;-)
I tuoi lavori sono assolutamente fantastici, ed è un piacere per gli Occhi osservarli.Vorrei essere piccolo piccolo per poterci vivere dentro. Sinceri complimenti.👍👍👍
If I may make a suggestion, your lighting isn't very good. It puts a deep shadow of your hand across the paper. Maybe a second light source would help.
Un réel plaisir de vous voir travailler, avec ou sans musique, vous êtes source d'inspiration ! Ravie de découvrir votre parcours. Merci !
thank you so much for your kind words! 🖋️💯👍

Very nice. Interesting that you have shown two quite different approaches to the same building.
Great that you like it! 👍🖋️
Ouch! I turned out well, but the ink didn’t seem to be waterproof after all! I would have panicked. Way to make it work! Another beauty ❤
Thank you. Well the ink is waterproof, but only if it is really dry.

Martin, What a wonderful piece... Is there anywhere we can download that big image?
Good day sir! I've been following your tutorials and want to know if I'm on the right path! Cheers Charles Campbell
That’s great to hear! So keep it up!👍
I wonder how this sketch would look in a sepia colored ink?
Could look quite good!
I agree, this was even better without music.
Great to read! I will keep that in mind 👍
👏👏👍👍

Indeed that’s the case in this tutorial! I will change that in upcoming ones!
@@MartinLachmairArt Great! I'm looking forward to future videos!
Thanks for ditching the music…. Your voice is far more melodious
😅 Thanks for your kind words! 👍🖋️
