Thank you for letting us watch in real time. I really enjoy the style in which you draw and your use of ink and watercolour. I’ll definitely be having a go at this tomorrow
I like it when you make tiny mistakes, that helps me see how you manage to go around them, that they just disappear when you finish your piece.. thank you Martin
Martin, your shorts are fantastic, but I'm so glad that you have found the time to produce more of your full demonstrations, which are superb. Can't wait to see how this scene developed.
This is great Martin. I see the major difference between my work and yours is I don’t go direct to ink, but do my sketch in pencil to work out any possible issues in alignment. Takes longer yes, as I have much erasing before ink. And, most certainly any devoted artist talks to themselves as they work, lol! Thanks for another opportunity to see your work:-)
I'm new to following you and getting started in scketching, your work seems incredible to me and I try to practice with your incredible designs, I love your work, thanks for your videos
Welcome Miguel! Thank you so much for your friendly words! Great that you join my tutorials! So if there are any questions or suggestions for upcoming tutorials just let me now! 🖋️👍
Thanks for sharing your inspirational talent in creating an impression of House with surrounding details in ink and watercolour sketch, I've only seen your work recently and am quite enjoyable your videos. Thanks again stay safe and healthy
I like the shadows drawn with the inkbrush so much. It creates such a natural drawn shadow. What is the reason you painted that part later on a little darker? For more contrast? Love your work and vids and be a little part on your journey.
Thank you very much! Yes from time to time I like to use the Sailor fude because of its lightweight. All my others are heavier and this matters after hours of drawing ;-)
I love your style. Thank you for the great videos. Could you do a video on how you pack your painting equipment for travel and how much you take with you. Also I have ordered some escuda travel brushes, should I also try the water filled plastic brushes you used in this video in the start of the shadow creation after the inking? How much do you use those. Thanks!
Good choice for travel brushes. Yes I started to use these water brushes as well, order a random pack from amazon (about 10 different sizes and inexpensive)
Fantastic video learned a lot Thank you Wondering if Do you have a favourite pallet of watercolour colours you like to use If so could you share that Thanks for the consideration P
Bravo!! Great to see a real-time drawing, super helpful! P.S. You looked dashing in your white shirt and vest! Hopefully that means you were taking your pretty wife out after your video ;)
Ich muss jetzt auch mal versuchen, graue Schatten mit dem brush pen zu malen. Darf ich fragen wie du das Grau hinbekommst, das ja sicher auch wasserfest ist? Kann man wasserfestes schwarz verdünnen?
What brands of pen and sizes are you using I think I see two different sorts and is there a technique for getting a thin line with a fude pen, I have a sailor fude pen then just does a think line and scratchy everything else. Thank you!!!!
Hi I tested a lot fude pens, sailor as well. Important is to use good ink for fountain pens like “sketch ink” from rohrer and klingner. And if you use the fude pen upside down, then you can do these fine lines.
Hi, thank you for your feedback! 👍 In this case I was drawing the whole scene from fantasy. But I also made tutorials from real buildings where I display the photo in a small window. 🖋️👍💯
Where's the introduction to the video? At the start You always say: _Hallo colleagues_ You take off your jacket. Then Sit at the desk... And Then you start to make wonderful artwork..... The beginning sets the mood... (All official and business like) and it's like *your trademark* :) Anyway - HAPPY new year and HAPPY 2024 everyone

Hello Martin
Really impressive !
What are the travel brushes that you use ?
Vielen dank!
I just discovered you and your work…. just amazing ……beautiful lines! One question, do you like the Sailor fude or this one better?
Thank you very much! Yes from time to time I like to use the Sailor fude because of its lightweight. All my others are heavier and this matters after hours of drawing ;-)
Hi Martin, thanks for the video and I wonder did you use DJI pocket 3 to film this? Thanks!
Thank you! Well, no it’s recorded with sony rx100 (table top) and canon rp (headshot). The pocket 3 I use when I am away from studio.
New to your channel, gives a different view to my learning how to paint.
Thanks....mike in the uk
That’s great to hear! Thanks and best wishes from austria 🇦🇹

😅👍👍👍👍
Your work is always lovely. Some soft background music might be nice to disguise some of movement noises:)
Thank you! Well yes in some of my other videos I used background music but not always 💯👍🖋️
Hello Martin,
Ferry Nice drawing, what paper die you use.
Jean Pierre. Dor😊
many brands but always 300gr and 100%cotton
Excelente!!! Que pluma es esa please?
Thank you! It’s a Majohn S5 fountain pen available at amazon
Excelent
Thank you!
The Fude nib fountain pen looks like the Moonman S5.
Exactly! 👍🖋️
I cant draw straight lines 😢 any suggestions would be awesome
It’s just practice: In my youth I filled sheets of paper with straight lines every 5 mm, over the whole length. First horizontal and then vertical!
What brands of pen and sizes are you using I think I see two different sorts and is there a technique for getting a thin line with a fude pen, I have a sailor fude pen then just does a think line and scratchy everything else. Thank you!!!!

I would be helpful if you displayed the image you are drawing 😊
