This is definitely what Elektra is all about - vocally she also manages to pull it off admirably (especially when one considers how agile and the amount of dancing she does - it's pretty impressive!)

Sensationell gesungen. Besser geht es wohl nicht? Wüsste nicht es so schon mal gehört zu haben.

Brava Derilova! What a fantastic performance... And I love the production and the orchestra!! I hope it will be commercially released on DVD.

A very powerful performance. Most certainly not one of the best sung renditions of this difficult aria I've heard, but she still pulls it off very well, and still manages to move so much and so well and act both with her voice and her body remarkably. I'm not sure this is the ideal Elektra, but her interpretation is definitely among the most intense and compelling I've seen, and intensity and total commitment is what Elektra is about. An excellent performance.

Love it or hate it - you got to admit this is about as powerfully emotional as music gets.

THE Elektra of one's Imagination!!! The finale is stupendous: for once a true Todtentanz!

Second time watching this! Wow! Truly a great Elektra--she sings and acts with her whole body expressing the text. Too many fat-assed old ladies singing this role. Unfortunately this singer will probably have a short career, but she truly gave legendary performances that excited the audience and fulfilled the composer's vision.
