In Orca slicer you can right lick on the plate and add primitive. Make a cube, reduce the z height on the cube. Do this twice and place them either side of the plate.
What do I do when the first square prints fine and the second is too close? If I adjust for the second square, now the first is too far away. Do I auto level the bed? Done that. Auxiliary level the bed? Done that too. Fluidd shows that the variance is .16, but the two regions for the squares are pretty much identical. What is going on?
I have a big problem with my Leveling. When i select 'Leveling' and then select continue, the Z Axis is way too deep and the Nozzle gets pushed into the Heating bed. Any Help? (Elegoo Neptune 4) Thank you
You have to go to the leveling section the main menu and there you can change the z-offset for all future prints. Don't forget to click on the save button in the top right corner.
@@JayRioLasRocas So thats the problem ok. Maybe there is a possibility to downgrade but I dont know. I also become desparate of levelling. When I do the first layer test, the distance between the layers an their bond differes in every corner. Overall I am not happy with the printer. Maybe its my fault but its not intuitiv in my opinion
I created the file on my own. It was easy. Load up a calibration cube then scale it by 200%. Multiply the cube by right clicking and choosing multiply, or you can just create another if you choose. Then you seperate them on the bed as seen in the video. There you go.
Where do you find this file?
Did you ever find it?
Where can I get the file to calibrate the z?
Same question, where can we find this file?

You're farther than me, i can't even find that file.
Same problem, never figured it out in 2 months of trying to get the first layer good

Thank you
do you have the PEi Plate attached? The Z Axis has a sensor that detects the magnetic PEi Sheet to stop, if its removed, its smashes into your heatbed
Should the layer thickness be 0.2 mm or 0.1 mm or whatever the specific model needs to be printed with?
had this printer for 2 days so far my first 10 attempts at prints have been failures and this file isn't even included in the usb. i'm pissed
Welcome to the club mate) same here I'm having 4 tickets pending at same time with elegoo but only 1 was solved
same lol

look for calibration squares stl
When I make an adjustment like this it is never saved? When I start another print the z-offset value always resets to what it was before.

@@shihan-gaming Thank you!
Klicking on the adjust button while printing does nothing. can anybody help?
