the putter alignment one interesting...i use the alignment to the line (high point) i want to take to get to the hole. this change have been either short online or pass the hole on high side with means reading the put back is easier.
Just an update on my hand surgery. All healed but still a bit tender on the palm. The GREAT news. Those adjustments i had to make to my grip to protect my right palm have weakened my right hand and I am now consistently hitting LONGER and STRAIGHTER. Thanks for all your advice, I used your back to basics grip advice just to be able to get back on course on the golf course and it has really worked.
Next time on the practice green try hitting toe putts for the short ones. You can hit them a little bit harder and it keeps them on line better than hitting it on center and easier, at least for me.
Its true! In Florida while on vacation I needed to rent a set of clubs at a course. Because I’m a Lefty, they only had a ladies set available that day so I had to use them. Once all the jokes were over, I was out-driving the group on some holes, and I ended up playing one of the best, most enjoyable rounds of my life. Size matters! 😆
By far the Cobra One-Length Hybrids rock. I have the Cobra Golf 2020 Speedzone One Length Hybrid 24% (5), and I LOVE IT. Trust it and my swing with it completely.
Interesting for #1! I’ve weirdly found my best driving game ever by “extending” my hands a 1/2” off the back of the club resulting in a long and pure fade, but playing a normal grip or up on it makes me duck hook it like crazy. Every other club I play standard grip. I call it “hand and a half” grip and It’s definitely a “homegrown” swing as I can find absolutely nothing supporting the results I’ve gotten out of it.
It boggles my mind how much better I could be with my chipping if my grass looked like yours. Hardpan, three inch deep grass, or wet . This is what I have to deal with.
Same. I could also drop my scores if the greens were decent where I play. It's always a tradeoff though. Do I want to be able to afford to play every week on bad courses or do I want to play nice course and only be able to afford playing once or twice a month. You definitely get what you pay for.
@@verissimus3008 well although you are correct, you could also say, “if you put the ball on the green in regulation on every hole, you wouldn’t have to chip at all “.
It is no wonder you are the number one coach and I follow your lessons all the time and practice them a lot. I must say though, I LMAO wondering just how bad your game must have been if you added up all the shots you claimed to have dropped since making your videos? God, I wish I had your game. Thank you so much for your lessons.
Alex, question, where I live we have about 50 par 3 courses we call executive and almost as many championship. Can you please answer about par 3 holes? When you tee off should you use or not use a tee? What gives you the most distance?
Trouble is when my swing 'goes' I can push the drive on one hole and then then pull it on the next. Hard to play with what you got if it is not consistant.
I do not understand the first one. We don't play full shots with anything less than a 6 iron? Should I be getting my ranges for these shoulder to shoulder flighted shots?
@AlexElliottGolf this sounds so crazy but it makes sense. My signature shot is my sky high 52 degree bomb drop at 99-101 yards, might have to let it go to score better lol
For me, I think the best one to use is to only hit partial wedge shots when possible. I can hit my 56 about 80 yards, but why bother. Use the 52 and swing easier for more control.
Alex. So wirh this approach tou dropped 6 shots; if I believed all your other video titles I recent weeks you ahe dropped some 50+ shots following all these new techniques. Question - why are you not playing PGA golf tournaments and earning millions? Or reasonably should your video have more reasonable titles?
Alex tips are reliable. I have gone from 29 to 22 using his tips. I don't care what he has to do to make sure these tips keep showing up in my YT feed.
*Which one of these 7 is going to lower your scores the most? I reckon you’ll use more than one!*
I was about to say the same thing. I like the tips but over sensationalising each video is making me doubt the tips.
Good input but stop with the click baiting I already want to unsubscribe
7. Bunkers have all of a sudden become a nightmare after yrs of confidence
I love your coaching style, Alex. I bet in-person lessons with you are amazing. Thanks for sharing, keep up the great work!

All great tips but for me, cleaning up those short puts with confidence. I already feel 3 shots lower. Thanks Alex.

@@billybilly3777 Makes sense, I'll give it try tomorrow. Thanks friend!
Played Mottram a couple of weeks ago. Lovely course. Thanks for the tips.

Alex, excellent, thank you for improving my game.
Thanks for these quick tips. I really need these "way to think and play" habits on the course
Thank you this was huge i broke 90 shot an 85 that should've been an 83 or 82 but I gave up 7 strokes on the 18th hole. NO BS THIS WAS GOOD THANKS
Excellent video I will be using all these particularly the bunker one

Thanks, Alex. I'd like to see a video on how to adjust to the different conditions in greenside bunkers. Cheers.
Well done Alex!
Love the loft back at ya tip
Thanks for making this video!

This is a victim mindset. Great chippers/pitchers put it close in many different situations. The type of grass is irrelevant. Git gud

Amazing tips, thanks so much mate
No problem 👍 HAPPY TO HELP
Brilliant video
Love this great information

ALWAYS use a tee when you can. No question
Hi Alex - thank you for your videos ! What putter do you play and is the white shaft original ? If not what is it ? Thank you
yes and the lab golf DF3
mathematically, you must be shooting 48 for 18. How many times can you drop 6 strokes?
And moving back a set of tees? Teeing off from the parking lot aye?
Great video as always 👌🏽
Number 4. Good tip.
I already don't hit full shots with anything shorter than PW. Will consider extending that to 7i.
I enjoyed the content of this rapid fire video .
Great video, now it just needs to cool down so this old guy can try these out⛳️
You should be winning the masters with all the times you've dropped strokes...
"One shot fix to scratch golf "😂
Lmao😂
nice shirt. do they make any for men ?
Nope.
Geez guys - this is aimed at the 20 handicappers - chill on the 6 strokes comments
😂
Hi mate. I’m looking at getting new wedges but what’s best ? I see you have 58 and 54 PW. What else do you carry ?

Thanks Akex, I really enjoyed your seven tips on improving your golf game. They were excellent. 🏌️♂️
Playing Wilson DynaPower irons. Nice.
How far do you hit the one length hybrid @AlexElliottGolf? Curious, didn't know they made a one length one
How do you like that LAB?
More secrets of golf…just how many secrets are there?

He’s full of it nothing but a con artist
Click bait, he's just playing the"UA-cam game", all the golf tubers are professional liars but it's fine' cos it's the " UA-cam game" 🤔
Why are 99% of all UA-cam golf instructors British?

You guys sound miserable. If you're not willing to put in the work, none of these videos will help...
I have a ping g430 17 degree. I don’t really care for it much. What is your thought on cutting that club down to 7 iron length vs a 19 degree?
The titles are click bait but the advice is actually decent.
I presume you mean fade not slice - it would be very difficult to compensate for a slice
...because a butterfly landed on a willow twig in Taiwan.
Bro that putter is ridiculous…that is all.

Is this guy 14,34, or 54?
30 and he's called alex, thanks Steven :)
no you did not drop 6 shots
