Clearance is dependent on the appliance rather than the venting components. The installation manual for your gas fireplace or stove will specify the clearance requirements. The insulated wall thimble is designed to help prevent heat loss from the home rather than improve clearance. My wall is 6 mil. Will this work on my wall?
