Amazing that Louisiana is early summer weather with leaves & azaleas blooming. Then I saw that Cloquet was expecting 2 inches of snow. In central VA, our poplar trees are out & dogwoods are beginning to bloom. Thank you for taking us along.

My understanding is that when a pump is slow the attendants need to clean out the fuel filter-it has gotten clogged up with debris.

Clear Lake Iowa is just a stopping point for you along a murderous drive down to Louisiana. But I wonder does the name of that city bring into the focus a significant historical event. It may not mean much to you unless you are a student of the music scene. "The Day the Music Died". It will always be linked to me because my Dad was born on Feb 2 1929.
I don't know why it never dawned on me that distinction. Maybe because here it is 03.36 in the morning I am viewing this video.

Joe the last exit on I-55 in Missouri before you hit Arkansas has a good truck stop with alot of parking but has great food inside and in the building North of the fuel pumps. I think it is Indian or Greek. I used to stop at that exit for fuel and food and I sometimes stopped at parked there overnight when I drove truck.

What kinda mileage does that big truck get? Do the oversize tires make it worse?

The oversize tires take more power to move them, more surface area on the road. They spin less but it is not enough to compensate so I do lose some mileage. I have not done the math at all yet, I never really worry about that. I am guessing I pulled around 15 to 18 per gallon.

@@NorthernSeclusion That sounds about right. My 2015 just purchased, has 55K miles but the computer was saying like 10-11 then as i drove it more I got 13.1 MPG. I was curious about yours since you have a tuner computer on it. I think I will leave mine stock for this year and I wont expect great fuel MPG.

Hooooooooooly sheit it's 80 here and you say 6 there?????? what is up with this USA weather? I don't get how you are freezing and I am burning down and turning on ac here. I do not have a working Capital a on my keyboard, so it's all under case and not just bad grammar. These temps are insane you are freezing and I am burning down. In my southern kitchen, I either can hardly stand the heat of the oven but not coupled with the dishwasher together. Way to much heat here. Just wish we could always have 72 degrees constant year round and not a degree higher. Joe you take care and layer your clothes to be able to put on or take off as temps arise.
