- I spent over 10 weeks in Louisiana working on "The Louisiana House". My work season has begun and it was time to head home. What a long drive. Going from everything being green to everything wanting to turn green. I am back in Minnesota and missing Melissa.
Joe you don't need a nap, you need a holiday at the TENT after the last few weeks. Well done.
Gareth Jones I concur!...
Never thought I would watch someone drive down the road I enjoy you that much
You're such a legend Joe!
we are almost totally green in Kentucky and have to mow a lot, to many to count! I love these videos easy on the ears, not too much endless chatter.
I just love your property. We were going to go up to Anoka this morning for brunch at Billys and then I remembered it was easter. So probably next weekend.Glad you made it home safe.
Just saw all the flooding thru St Louis. Good thing it waited for you to get back home before it flooded. Glad you made it safely!
Hello.!! from India.. Glad to see you reached home safely..😊
MacGyver.!! One of my favourite shows back in the 90s... we were just small kids then.. and there was just one or two families who had the luxury of owning a black and white television set in our village, and we would wait for Saturday to come and all children would gather in one of those houses to watch MacGyver.. those were the fun days...😊😊
I enjoyed riding with you back to Minnesota. Thanks!!!
Ahhh...home sweet home. I grew up in Andover. I went to Fred Moore Jr High in Anoka and graduated from Blaine. Great to see a home boy doing his thing on YT! Glad you made it home safely.
Good to see you arrived safely.
Thank God u made it home safe. Time to go to the tent, lol. Tyfs, God bless you
Welcome home Joe can't wait for the fishing opener @ the tent or sooner if possible you probably need that after a couple months of hard work on the Bayou....house looks great though!!
Welcome home, looking forward to seeing the next "TENT" video! :)
Just a few more weeks.
Glad you had a safe trip home
Home sweet home
Glad you made it home with no problems.
Glad your safely home, now for some videos from the tent!
Glad you made it home safely Joe.
St. Louis traffic is a pain, I agree. I recognized the footage of 55 and 270. I agree with you about Iowa btw... nothing there but miles of flatlands and nothingness.
Welcome back Joe, I was just up in Ramsey on Friday but I wasn't sure when you were going to be back.
It's always great to get 'home'.... your dog must have really missed you. Now for 'joe' time. Great video. Best of luck
At least this year you get to enjoy two springs! Get caught up and looking forward to tent ⛺️ video
Welcome back. Cheers!
Well was good you got home ok.....
Welcome home Joe!
That rain storm would have put me right to sleep.
That was a monster run mate, bloody good effort. I bet you slept like the dead that night. Cheers Moose.
Hey....just as I was getting used to a clear windshield....now the crack and the puck is back
Glad you made it home safe!
I'm glad to see you made it home safe and sound. Maybe you can take a couple of days to rest after that long drive. God Bless...
I hit the ground running tomorrow. 2 jobs going on at once. Let the hair pulling and sleepless nights begin. LOL.
Sorry to hear you have to go straight back to work but I understand. Be Blessed And Happy Easter to you and Family.
I've been to WhereAmI, Mississippi too! I think everybody has, at least once, LOL! Glad you're safe.
welcome home Joe! btw those turkeys are looking yummy.
One of the males will be hitting the freezer very shortly.
I've driven the Avenue of the Saints many times
Joe go to the settings for your GPS and you can set it to take expressways or to shortest route or even fastest
Russel Brown you are correct, GPSs do offer alternative routes.
This mans obsessed with the weather
That's a long trip! I thought I had it bad, going from coastal CT up to northern Maine! Takes me about 7-8 hours, but only one day!
Hey Joe welcome to Hannibal,Missouri !!
The hotel you stayed in is across the street from my house. Nice town but crazy Missouri weather.
I like Hannibal. There is another subscriber that lives there as well.
Love to travel, but great to be home als0✋🏻
Those long distance relationships 😳😬
Have you ever ate at lamberts in sikeston Missouri. Amazing catfish. My great grandmother was a cook there when they first opened. It's her recipe.
i miss those long rd trips! so i bet your already for the garden now arent you! lol
Enjoyed the trip. Much easier to watch the drive than actually drive it! Which episode of McGyver did you watch? Thanks for the upload. Have a rest, you've earned it.
I know it weeks away yet...but im sure looking forward to the "2017 Opening Fishing video"
You did a lot of work
Glad you made it home buddy! Next week at the tent and cabin?
Still snow up there, it will be a few weeks until I make it up there.
Can't believe 5 peeps gave you thumbs down, Joe! I love your adventures, and am sure you'll be with Melissa again soon! Great progress on the Louisiana casa!! :)
next time type in Mason City, Ia on your GPS as a "stop" along your route, and that will keep you on rt 18 and take you to 35.. that's all 4 lane.. thats weird though that your GPS would do that.. I'm guessing it kept you on 218 up to Austin, mn..
That doggine GPS!
You should see So. Calif. traffic!!!!
I suspect you are happy to be back home, but it must have been harder to leave Melissa than it usually is due to the length of time you spent there. Regardless, welcome back to your Northern Seclusion. 😊
It always sucks to leave. Its time for me to make some money though so I will be very busy and that will keep my mind off things.
Yep what imari2305 and Tim C said. Avagud'n Joe.
There's no place like home
Im not so sure, that travel trailer was nice to stay in with Melissa, I enjoy spending time with her. It is my work season now though, so its time to make some money.
Can you tool reviews? I'm jealous of all your know how.
Glad to see you made it home safely. How did you get that nasty crack and divot in the windshield??
It has always had the divot but the crack happened last fall. I have no idea how. I did not care because I bought the new truck but then decided to put the miles on the old truck and take it to Louisiana.
Ah, thanks for the reply. Where I live, windshields have to be replaced by your insurance company, regardless of the deductible, if the damage is in the driver's field of vision.
Ha you filmed going though my hometown in Iowa City
That is actually a pretty area of the state, lots of big farms that look nice. I do like the wide open spaces.
Hello Joe, I' ve been watching the nick on your windshield, how long has the crack been their. By the way, Happy Easter.
should have ignored the G.P.S. and stayed on 35W north.and yes the roads thru Iowa are long and boring.
thomas roering Not boring if he'd stayed off the county roads. Every state is boring like that if you take the backroads.
I hear ya,back in 91 I was heading to Alabama and took I 35 W south to Missouri then went straight east til I found I 65.Thought I was in Florida cause I was driving late at night and swamps were on both sides of the road
There's construction on I35 in Iowa and southern MN. The GPS may very well have saved you from lots more 18 MPH driving :)
I feel certain that you are learning French on these long drives. xojenny
How do you take care of animals in two different states.
how did you meet Melissa way down in Louisiana ???
How long did you get to stay in Louisiana, glad you made it home safe!?
I was there almost 10 weeks this time.
Joe, cant you set your GPS for the fastest time instead of the shortest distance? I know my gps you can. All the best.
StihlnLogs ....gday mmate.looking at your pic , I think you might enjoy the buckin billy ray channel , plenty of saw actioj, building vintage axes etc

Hi Joe, what software do you use to edit your videos?
Good grief. You have a cracked windshield on your new truck now too?
You need to watch the whole video.
Does Chester stay in that pen The whole time you're gone?
when is it mudbug time
It took us 12+ hours to move from California to Nevada. Just like u I was done at about 8 hrs and was ready to kill at 12. Never again hopefully. I dont do well on long trips driving and its funny cuz my Moms and Stepdads generation grew up on roadtrips and driving everywhere, not me, I will take a plane next time!So u do these trips every year or what?? Are going to eventually settle in one place or nah??
Joe does this truck run on diesel also or gas?
Joe what breed is your dog? Do you slaughter your own animals or does a butcher do it for you?
Is Melissa from Louisiana or Minnesota ? Is it her house or yours?
while you were down there did u see the robertsons
i know whare Missouri is
So are you any smarter after staying in that Holiday Inn Express? lol
