      Idk how else everyone likes their omelets but here is how I make mine. First thing I do is get a pan and put it on the stovetop. Turn the heat to max. Put some butter in so things going smoothly. Beat two eggs in a bowl into they're all nice and mixed up or whatever. By that time the pan is nice and hot so pour them into it. Try to get in all nice and even around the pan. Then I go get some cheese. Salt and pepper. And add that on top of it. Around that time the omelet is ready to fold in half and take out. It's usually nice and brown kinda like a pancake. And I usually put it on some toast and eat it like a sandwich

    • @BurgerwithPeanutButtter
      @BurgerwithPeanutButtter 2 роки тому

      @@3Faidonas3 First of all, you changed much of what the original statement mentioned. They said butter and bacon, specifically, which are high in unhealthy, saturated fats. Obviously olive oil, butter-less toast, and ham would be considered healthier alternatives. Secondly, a fried egg has no more or less nutrition than a scrambled one. It's the exact same egg, cooked in the same butter (or olive oil, in your case). The only difference is how it is cooked (scrambled vs hard boiled vs sunny side up, etc., changes nutritional value by only a negligible amount). Thirdly, you added cheese, which also tends to be high in saturated fat, which is considered the unhealthy kind. Of course, as with all things, it depends on how much of it you eat. All that said, the sandwich the original comment mentioned would be high in saturated fats and sodium, which together in high amounts negatively impact cholesterol and heart health. The alternatives you mentioned would be considered healthier, if only marginally so.

    THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO! I was planning to make something special for my family for once and just I came across this video. My dad always makes us plain sunnyside eggs for us as breakfast, now I want to pay him back with a countryside omelette. (I'm 12 and I'm really excited while I'm preparing the thing I need currently!)
    Edit: it's been a hour since I've made the original comment. My dad walked downstairs first to the kitchen, when I told him I made a omelette I found in a video, he said "wow" then proceeded to walk pass me then boiled some water. I felt pretty sad but I push that emotion away and go upstairs to wake up my brother. As I told my brother bout the omelette I made he said "I only eat Sunnyside eggs" I shamefully walk down stairs. When I walked back down saw my dad making sandwiches out of the omelette, handed me one to give it to my grandma and I go upstairs again to meet my sweet grandma. I knocked on her door then came in saying goodmorning, we greet eachother and I was hesitant to tell her bout the omelette but I did anyways, was brassing myself for a sad comment but it did not came, my Grandma tells me that it's good that I'm making my own food then she proceeded to lecture me about a omelette eggstyle she know that keeps the yolk in the middle? Felt really good after that exchange then walk back downstairs to find my dad and my brother putting mayo on there sandwiches. After I told them 'is it good' my dad answers 'sarap' I felt like he lied. My brother answer 'pwede naman' Felt neutral bout that one.
    (Now currently I'm stress about what would my mom, sis and my other brother would think about it. This was a rollercoaster of emotions.
    Thank you for making this video.)

      Yes and no. Can you use a fork? yes. However not with a Teflon/ cheap non-stick, only do it with a well seasoned cast iron/carbon steel or enamel pan(to a certain degree).
      The main reason for not using forks on non-sticks is scratching the non-stick coating away and health issues via consumption. This goes back to why cooking a classic French omelet is judged from the very beginning even from your choice of utensils I.E pan.

      @@Cheeky_Raccoon There's a video on Adam Ragusea's channel about the studies showing that health concerns about the nonstick coating aren't really true (unless you plan to stick a coated pan in an oven at like 550 Fahrenheit for an hour+). That said, it absolutely will scratch the hell out of the pan, which is an instant waste of the somewhat-expensive pan (even if they're now becoming the cheapest ones, and ones like cast iron are now becoming the pricey ones). It will also make the food worse (flakes of coating in the food is still gross, even if it's basically inert), and will cause the food to stick to the scratches.
