Hi Shi, it's Mike, I fished w/you on Sunday there. I was out today 5: 30 to 10: 30 nothing. 5 others showed up for 2 hours each, nothing. It is slowing down.
Hey Mike. I went back out another day around 530am and limit out. But it is slowing down.
@@shination3846 Awesome Shi!...Nice getting a limit that fast..even if you want to do some fishing, good job!!..It seems it's slowing down. I'm seeing an early bite with the hotter weather plus it's cooler. People have differnet opinions on tides in the Sacto area. Imo, the tides aren't as important [as long as there's good current] as it is in the delta and SF bay. The river here doesn't move up as down nearly as much as it does in the delta/bay. The schools and loners come and go. I've recently caught big ones here at the top, bottom, outgoing, incoming. I've heard 2 hrs before or after the change, everybody has their preference.
@1Mannco I actually think the tides play a HUGE part. I've put in 8 plus hours sometimes just to see how the bite would be during the tide changes. And most of my catches have came during the outgoing high tide and even sometimes on low tide. I have another video coming soon fishing the tides at that very spot. Be sure to look out for it.
No shad fishing ?
I went out for a bit last week but no luck. I might try again.

Where on the river is this shi?
This is by hood.
@@shination3846 Shi...you keep telling people exact spots, hard to park there as it is...but this is your channel.
@1Mannco hood is a pretty long stretch so technically I'm not giving them the exact pin points. Plus I'm sure all those cars aren't coming from me. That spots already very well known before I got there.
@@shination3846 I'm just giving my 2 cents Shi. You can say anything you want here, no biggie!. Actually there's that one spot and sometimes I can't even park there b/c of people that already know the spot like in March and April but now more people will know, unless your including spots on the other side of the river....Sometimes during the day there's space to park there and now there's more space that it's slowing down. I know all those cars aren't there b/c of you.
First to comment!!! Going to start watching now. Just wanted to be first 😅
Thanks for being the first Shaun! Let's kill it tomorrow!
What spot is this? Been trying to find one and try jerkbait for the first time

@@shination3846 Bro!!
Dude your fish handling skills are terrible why would you just drop it on some ducking rocks just to release it…?
If you such a pro, how would you have done it?
It’s undersized 😢
@@SACHMOOB916 hold it with lip grippers remove the hooks release the fish it’s not that hard jackass.
i thought the same thing, pretty rough with the fish man but hey, nice job usin the jerkbait
