How do WWE wrestlers know right when to make the tag or kick out? There are some secret signals that they use that we'll explain in this video and more.
I am glad that more people are noticing that the wrestlers eyes being opened during the pin is an indicator of them kicking out, I though i was one of the only people who noticed that.
@iiTsFaded_ I think you're getting Roman Reigns mixed up with Stone Cold, as he literally has mentioned this on a few occasions. Go back and watch Stone Colds matches and see for yourself. Roman's eyes are open.
I'm pretty sure Bruce Prichard is lying as usual. When Vince did that ear-tug it was an immediate reaction to Flair's comment. There shouldn't have been a music cue before this point.
@@flanaj2Flair made the announcement, but the ear-tug was a cue to hit Austin’s music. Austin came out right after this to stun Angle and beat up McMahon. If you’re going to call Prichard a liar, at least watch the video again. It’s on UA-cam. Pretty easy stuff to research. By the way, Hunter said the same thing - Vince was trying to cue the music, but he did it so obviously that it became an inside joke with the boys backstage.
yeah its rhythmic thing. njpw wrestlers do it all the time on alot of moves - and besides theres no way they can tell i n time if hes gonna clap or not
Giving your opponent the Iggy is its insider term. As a referee I used to give the iggy to a wrestler to indicate how much time was left or to go home etc.
I remember that back in the day I made fun of Cena for being so lousy during his calls, but then I heard that interview when he was called out for that and he said "I'd rather be heard saying, 'Hit me, motherfucker' than saying nothing and have crickets" and I changed my mind🤣
It actually makes sense since they need to be in a position to be able to counter. I don't even think the arm position is itself the cue - rather they already know when he's going to take the move or not before he's picking them up. If they know they need to counter, they are simply placing their arms where they need to be in order to successfully counter.
And so many people are calling this "fake shit"...yes, it's scripted but you have to train hard for these moves und you have to be aware of so much at the same time every second...
I like knowing more behind the scenes of wrestling. And I think knowing the secrets don't take away anything from wrestling. More the opposite if anything.
I've been a wrestling fan ever since I was a kid but I try to watch these matches closely to see if I can pick up anything during the matches. So one thing that I've noticed that the wrestlers do is that when they land face first on the mat they try to land with their hands touching the mat first. I guess that prevents them from getting seriously hurt and I've noticed that when wrestlers are coming off the turnbuckle to make a splash off the top turnbuckle. I've noticed that the wrestlers on the mat has their arms tucked inside and I guess that prevents the wrestlers from getting their arms broken. I mean the storylines might be fake but what they do in the ring isn't fake at all
6:03 all i heard was “double skee-zuup sklee-zam move on beezo ezel poze round around the kids or abduct the kids im a tator pizz on ya pinszon in the fizz eich with a cow bell”😂
There was a rumor that Rick Flair wore a different color cape to indicate if he would win or lose. He always denied it but it does seem to have a pattern to it.
Randy not clapping hands for a powerslam doesnt mean dont take it. They both knew he wasn't going to do it because Randy does a spin to his fists. Not a cue. Also, Vince pulling his ear to cue music doesnt make sense. They've cued music without signals thousands of times.
It still hurts, but hand signals and cue stuff like this ensures that the people doing the moves and stunts will be okay most of the time. Wrestlers are not ACTUALLY trying to injure each other. Why would they unironically want to? They have families to go to after shows, after all.
Im really not used to the " the F.U" being called the attitude adjustment. I haven't watched wrestling In a long time and ik its more kid friendly but still
"As the scripted nature became more well known..."...more well known to who? lol I think what you meant to say is that because the matches are already pre-planned ahead of time between the wrestlers, they don't do much calling of the match in the ring anymore.
No The clap is to determine either to take it or not Also, while taking ddt if the giver beat the back the taker would take it but if not would counter
5:59 … ummmm…. Putting “Izz” in-between the first letter of the word and the rest of the word isn’t nearly as difficult to figure out, speak, or understand as they/you think it is 😅😂
“Are you alright?”
“No. You gotta give me the Tombstone” 😂
i dont know why im laughing so hard hahaha
Who's the one saying "no" Taker?
@@Knight_mare5Batista
probably to finish the match
Haha, right??? 🤣...finishing moves are supposed to be devastating and CAUSE the most damage.

Roman is good enough with sound cues that he doesn’t need to have his eyes open
@@iiTsFaded_ 0:26
@@shmunggussobviously for a match like that and a venue like that, he has them open. In general he listens to the sound.
I don't notice any wrestlers doing this. There eyes legitimately look close. Maybe its the camera angle lol.

Hulk Hogan was just YAPPIN
Back then, Majority of the time atleast. If a wrestlers eyes were open during pins, I knew they were going to kick out.
Hogan was just calling football plays
Hogan wasn’t speaking carney, he was speaking in tongues 😂😂
After years and years of watching, at this point I have figured out most of these.😆
The clap by Randy is a rhythmic thing he does, he does not always clap his hands before hitting that power slap
Yea I'm pretty sure 65% of the time, they already know they need to take the move
yeah its rhythmic thing. njpw wrestlers do it all the time on alot of moves - and besides theres no way they can tell i n time if hes gonna clap or not
100%, it’s a rhythm thing.
The spot is already called - they already know during the Irish-whip if they’re taking it or not.
Same with the DDT …. No way the slap as you are dropping the DDT is enough time for them to register in their brain to take the move
@@Dadpool5864 yeah
Chris Jericho coaching after getting beat down by the guy is amazing. He's like a movie director, trying to get the most drama possible.
Randy’s powerslam is toooo smooth
Yeah
That was one powerful powerslam to Bobby Roode
