Edge's retirement and Jerry's heart attack got to be two of the saddest moment on RAW. But on the bright side, Edge made his unforgettable comeback at Royal Rumble 2020 which resulted in one of the loudest pop in wrestling history, And Jerry would be fine and return at the commentary.
Michael Cole easily had the greatest "Face turn" of all time! how he handled that situation&stayed behind giving us updates, massive RESPECT to that man
Jerry's heart attack was such a frightening moment I remember watching it as it aired and breaking out into tears I honestly thought he was going to die that night. My dad kept me updated as I have always been a fan of the King of wrestling and getting to meet him a few years later was such a moment ❤️
Lol he is “The King”, but he definitely wasn’t the King of Wrestling. I remember watching him crawl under the ring at an old Royal Rumble match which ended up starting a tradition for sneaky heels to hide under the ring. I heard he was hospitalized again recently though. Hope he’s okay.
I remember King's Heart Attack. I wasn't a huge wrestling fan but I love Jerry the King and also JR. that moment I was blasting in tears and I was praying for his health.
Still gives me goosebumps when edge returned at the royal rumble. The look on his face. He felt how we all felt. One one ofe the greatest memories ever

Mark henry's fake retirement was both sad and hilarious lol, Everybody fell for it. Sad, cause we legit though that he was going to retire. They got us in the first half.
Nexus, the biggest blown angle in WWE history. I still wear my Nexus shirt from time to time if only to remember what could have been. If Vince had just gotten over his ego and either let Wade go over on Cena or even better, turned Cena heel when he joined Nexus, they could have had a stable that rivaled the NWO. The hype for Nexus and how over they were in the era of Super Cena was unreal and they completely threw it all away. Oh well it did kinda lead to the CM Punk pipebomb promo as he was the leader of the New Nexus at the time.
Number 8 was in 1996, at a time when activists were really concerned about the amount of gun play on television, especially in cartoons made for children. Six years before this, TaleSpin had so much gun use that by 1995 when the show transferred from syndication to Disney Channel, Disney started editing (in a laughable fashion) out gun cocking, pointing guns and even some shooting scenes. And TaleSpin had villains shooting guns at child characters as well. I can see why USA Network panicked when Brian Pilliman took out a gun, since WWF rarely used firearms on their shows. I think the last time before that incident was Doctor D showing off his gun collection to Vince in 1984-1985.
Man the nark Henry spot got me good , cause he's one my favorite guys at the time and was sad but the speech was great crossing Cena "I still gotta Lot left in the tank"
You have to be kidding me. He said for that night he was the most electrifying man in sports entertainment. Because he was electrocuted. It was a joke saying that for that single night, he took that title from The Rock. Are you that dumb or was this a piss poor attempt at a joke?
Shane should be put into the hall of fame. He really put his body on the line. I'm sure we all remember multiple spots he's done. Leave a comment with your favorite Shane moment
vince buying wcw, vince limo explosion, kane unmasking, the first stunner to vince, and pillman gun incident are my favorite as i watched all thos segments live, whats missing from this list was kanes debut, that changed wwe also.
the Austin Pillman bit WAS shocking at the time... but if you look close (ie pause at the right time) you see that the gun he pulled had NO magazine in it, and was most likely a non-firing prop.
It's funny when I see stuff about the big switch from WCW to WWE to watch mankind win belt. Back in those days both WCW and WWE was replayed every Monday. So I didn't switch bc after watching WCW I just waited for the replay.... I'd do that every Monday, if I watched all of WCW or WWE on Monday I'd switch after the show to watch the other ones replay of entire show.
18:39 if that 3D was on anyone but Mark Henry it might of killed them. The timing and angle of it hurt to watch. If his neck wasn't the size of a tree trunk that could've been a wrap. 😱
Just speaking as someone who was a kid and channel flipper between WWF and WCW during the monday night wars... I remember watching so many of these live from 97-03 and Mankind winning the title always gets me. While WCW was playing those games, the little kid that is me had no idea this was even happening. No clue he spoiled Mick's big night. So while it's talked about a lot today, back then it's not like everyone went to twitter and said "OH HE JUST SPOILED RAW!" and even sending a mass email out would require people turning on a computer to see it... and a lot of confused little kids like me were like... "who is mick foley?" because were were still wondering why Dude Love and Mankind never were in the same room since it's obvious they're related.
27 Goldberg was NOT an OMG moment. There were promos in the coming weeks saying he was coming then the night of promos saying he would come tonight. It wasn't a shock during rocks promo, we knew who was next.
Personally feel the invasion story was actually good, no doubt it could of been so much better if we got Hogan, Hall, Nash, Sting, Goldberg… etc, but it was still decent in my opinion
the wcw buyout was the biggest cause vince showed up on both shows at the same time. I was watching WCW when it happened, flipped back to raw and it was the same video going at the same time, both live.
@@user-tv3mz3mw7v yh, that one. I looked it up. That was epic. Found out it happened a few times, so I guess it's not that of a big deal. I loved it at the time, and if you remember it, it was pretty memorable.

Terrifying thought we'd never see him again
Jerry Lawler getting a heart attack on RAW got me really worried. One of the biggest RAW moments in WWE history we will never forget.

Edge and Lita live celebration was just wild for us to watch on live TV at the time.
10000% I can’t believe they did that to this day. I was a bit older but still uncomfortable and wondering why LOL
I covered up the screen😮
That Jeff hardy swanton bomb on Randy will always be in my memory

11:43 This moment had me so devastated!😢 I was SOOO glad he returned at the Royal Rumble!
I wanted to cry honestly, been watching him since I was 7 😭
Love your vids!
Big Bossman showing up to Big Show's father's funeral, and dragging the casket off, should've definitely been on this list.
Oh, shit!!! Almost forgot about that. Funniest moment for sure if it was on raw lol
It would've made the list but that angle was taped for SmackDown, unfortunately. If we get the Blue Brand follow-up that needs to be included.

Gold dust had that title for a bit too.
