@@jaclyn2001 Yeah I agree, she should still be held accountable for her actions no matter what, and previous bullying isn't an excuse for treating people badly now. However, even though I find it really hard to empathize with her since I can't imagine being like her, I think it's a natural and good thing to extend compassion to someone who is clearly leading an awful life, even if they maybe don't deserve it. It's kind of like one of my favorite quotes from Martin Luther King Jr, "Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Thousands of people hating this girl might upset her (or not, but I have a feeling that she's pretty insecure under all of that attitude), but it'll likely just cause her to hate people more, thus creating a vicious cycle of hate. But if someone reaches out to her with compassion and love, it might just break down her walls and give her the perspective (and example) she needs to become a better person. Idk, just food for thought. :)

No one can change until they want to change, I learned that from my psychology class. She obviously has a lot of insecurities, but her narcissistic actions speak louder than that. Her song “Skinny Legend Anthem” blatantly makes fun of overweight people. Watch Danny Gonzalez’s most recent video where it talks about her. Giving her attention and validation is what she wants. What she needs is a good therapist and a social media cleanse. Like I said, no one can change until they want to change

I felt that. The reality is a lot of girls our age probably felt that. None of us actually say it because it’s...shallow. But the amount of value beauty holds is astronomical. The pressure is on. Yes, we are making positive steps but when being skinny and looking pretty is ingrained you from age 4 to young adult it’s really hard to unlearn that standard. We feel useless, a waste of space, monstrous and sometimes suicidal based on the reflection we see. Excuses are for the birds but I see someone who struggles desperately and just wants to feel beautiful because that’s all that matters. I so deeply feel her pain.

She’s kinda crazy but I felt her pain cuz I went from being ugly to beautiful. I lived most of my adolescent times being called out as ordinary, nerdy, unpopular. I was those type of people no one would ever pay attention to… The boys I liked saw me as their bros……But now with 50 pounds weight loss, double eyelid surgery and 2 porcelain teeth which took me a lotta pain. My life has completely changed and people started to treat me well since then. You’ll never understand how it feels until you have experienced the same thing..;(

I also was a late bloomer, and it can be traumatic being teased at school. I understand her wanting to be pretty, but life is more than just looks. Looks can help attract a partner or get a job, but it’s not forever and need to gain skills or personality as well.
