Возможно Игровая мастерская сделает ещё список - на 3000 очков, и придётся ещё отряды добавлять. Но в этом случае придётся играть во дворе - на стол две такие армии просто не влезут (если только это не биллиардный стол).

@@surfnbird6480 Basically he is the ideal GW customer: starts a lot of armies, doesn't necessarily finish them before getting enticed again by new shinies. Though I do think he will finish up this one, just because he is doing it together with Miniac.
It might be morale breaking but in some weird way it's a decent idea this way he doesn't Need to buy anything else even if there's a sexy new plastic goodie out later and who isn't guilty of buying more plastic/resin just because it's nice looking and new 🤫

Dark Eldar was my first ever games workshop army of any kind whatsoever. I started my journey with the third edition starter set in the Christmas of 1999. I was pretty into black/death metal at the time, and when I saw the dark Eldar I was just like “this me.”
wow, feels awkrward to know Drukhari are older than me and knowing i play against guys who had an army in the same year i was born but its amazing to know how dedicated this fanbase is and gives me hope that when im old i can share the love of the game with younger people

World eaters are fun! My third army. They’re great you’ll enjoy them. They have a lot of personality and you don’t have to be scared to customize each one or a few of them. Kitbash bits and diff helms or weapons it still doesn’t look arbitrary with them

I absolutely LOVE my Drukhari (Dark Elder). They get so little love from GW but I think they have such a cool aesthetic.

I just returned to the hobby after 30 years roughly, and there's something about having a whole army in front of you, the potential of what you can do and how you'll do it.
Dark Eldar are cool and all, but I was really hoping it was going to be your 2nd Edition Blood Angels. I’ve nearly finished my half company that I started back in the 90’s and can’t wait to see how yours come out.
I wish you luck on your brand new army that you're doing oh and I hope you have fun customizing them too.

Yesssss, more Dark Eldar enjoyers!! I am SUCH a huge fan of everything about them. I love the aesthetics of each subfaction, I love the absurdly hilarious ultra-violent lore, I love painting them, and I love seeing them on the table. They're SO hugely underrated IMO!

I recently started a plan too,. I broke everything down in excel because I wanted some data to help me think. It surprised me when I crunched the numbers and realized I had already painted 25% of my force! not bad! I broke down the remaining miniatures into phases and I'm planning on attacking them one phase at a time, and trying to only think about the current phase I'm on. I hope I can do some good work on it this year!

Gl hf building and painting this huge Dark Eldar army, If you finish this project is a big motivation for many people they have problems to finish an army.
Love this! Just started painting some myself and I must say the airbrush comes in super handy! Just a note, the venom also confers the kabalite warrior sticky objective rule. Lastly, blasters with the aeldari ranger rifle barrels glued to the end look just like dark lances!
And just like that Munitorum Field Manual dropped and you are now well under on points. Time to start adding stuff!
Did a similar thing for my new army this year. Signed up for a tournament in october, so gotta get it done by then :D

I'm also in the same boat, got myself a new army of IG, 2k pts with 88 infantry models, Baneblade and 2 Dorns. It's gonna be a wild ride.

Tip on converting Dark Lances. Use the the disintegrators left over from your boats, cut off the end and just use a splinter rifle for the barrel of the gun.

It was inevitable that at some point Jay was going to start an army that wouldn't need an excuse to be painted magenta.

Good choice jay. Last year I amassed a massive eldar army to paint. But I also looked at drukahri the models seem to be the most affordable in the second hand market by a good margin. You could collect a staggering amount of those guys and not have it set you back to far. Excited to see your color schemes and conversions
I find it adorable that Jay thinks he is gonna finish that army before the point costs invariably change. My nighthaunts got point adjusted like 4 times while I painted them (also within a year).
I love the homuculus kitbashed into the Hellraiser characters, that's on my bucket list of models I'd like to do.
Very happy to see Dark Eldar Drukhari get more coverage. They have amazing models, despite most being over a decade old. At least they've steadily been getting a few refreshes lately thanks to Killteam

I just started getting into the hobby with my first army
I still remember splitting the third edition box with my friend. I took the Dark eldar. I eventually abandoned them for the Craftworld eldar and sold all my dark eldar, but I still have a lot of nostalgia for the army.
I was able to snatch a copy of Leviathan recently, so I am starting a Tyranids this year. I will try exactly the same approach, I won't just mindlessly buy everything that has good price or value, but specifically kits I want for my list and I will change my painting routine, I will teach myself into proper batch painting and not wasting hours on a single model, ahh dreams...

Also, points will most likely change once or twice before you're completed, so I wouldn't stress about points at all
