  • Slow Death Rigging is a finesse technique that lures walleye in with the action of a trailing nightcrawler. Spinning Attracting Blades with beads or floats adds to the presentation enticing them to eat.
The blades I choose to run are Ram Lures Montana Blades. Their spinning movement is different than anything else in the market. It elongates down the bait as opposed to a propeller spinning out in front.
Watch as I show how to use & rig the system along with a couple other pointers to feel that bite which puts Walleye in your boat. Big or small Montana blades catch them all.
Not to mention a BONUS Monster Northern Pike which was caught breaking down techniques & locations earlier in the day.

10:00 why don't you use spotlock? Makes life a lof easier in situations like this!

He was running fast & the leader was 12lb flourocarbon so I chased him down to pull him up as opposed to leave him run straight away from me.
I was worried he was going to spool me.

That day was 30-45 ft, Bottom bouncer would be 2oz -2.5oz. Once your going desired speed you let out line until you feel bottom. As you fish continuously checking for bottom contact putting you in the zone.

I use Bottom Bouncers @ 0.8 - 1.5 mph. Fishing various depths requires different weights for Bouncers, the deeper you fish the heavier the bouncer. You want to try and be on a 45 degree angle from rod to bouncer behind the boat.

Yes prob a bit to fast. But I have another thing for you to try if your looking @ casting.. Walleye Nation Creations Death Rig Jig. Look it up on Bass Pro Shop online. Heavy jig with a spin gets that crawlers down there.
