I'm new to walleye fishing and have just finished a three week fishing trip at Lake Leelanau ,Michigan and was STRUGGLING to catch fish! I mean I caught 2 walleye in the first 6 days. Anyway, I watched this video here and took what I learned to the water and had great success! I used the slow death tactic in a variety of spots and depths and was able to gain great confidence in my fishing. I began catching 15"-18" walleye in several spots and even brought a friend out to catch his first walleye too! My last 4 days of my trip I caught 5+ walleye every outing and I credit this all to your video! I wanted to say thank you for your time and effort you put into your videos, they are fantastic and really do help out fellow anglers!
Thanks Scott.....great video and way to open my eyes to an amazing way to fish.....I watched this video last fall and made the commitment to fishing this spring out on as you say Lake X. Was a game changer for me bud....can't thank you enough.
Thanks for the video heard you speak of slow death in the tournament Video I wasn't sure what it was. Will try this with my Granddaughters they struggle with the trolling rods and boards.
Suprisingly have only caught about 5 catfish this year and we've put a lot of hours on the water. But once the water warms up a bit more...you can be sure they will keep you busy. Something I forgot to mention is it works in any depth of water, just adjust your bouncer size. Have fun and good luck.
:) Thanks, I've had a crappy summer between work and most of my fishing friends quit fishing. I've only just recently started getting out again. I'll be back online soon here.
Once again nice video! Your style gives anyone with a boat and a rod a chance to land some walleye! Like the bead...haven't seen that before. Is it an attractant or serve some other purpose?
Very nice man! Ive been playing around with the slow death for a couple years now they work great. I usually do really well with them tied on a harness too! Great video
@@schoover hell yea.... I once took my kayak out of whites beach in 25mph winds.... With the wind i was cruising... Against it.... Well lets just say i was borderline giving up lol

I've never seen those slow death hooks before. I'll definitely be getting some. Nice looking set up. Some good action. A little bit of everything. 👍
Thanks for stopping by Grant. Give it a shot and let me know if it works for you.

Happy Memorial Day!
sup. a nother great vid. going to a lake where i caught my pb 6 pounds. people caught 15 pounders there.
Good luck, fish where the fish are :)
I noticed you were not pulling boards, how many lines can you pull without having to put on boards?
With 2 guys we usually use 4 rods, 2 out the side and 2 out the back. My boat is long enough that we can run rods off the bow also.
thanks...
Once again nice video!

Thanks Zach! I think it's just another thing to catch the fish's "eye" :) :) A friend of mine likes to use spin n' glows on his.
I started bare hook, years ago. Now it's taper beads, wedding rings, floaties, smilleys......more bling than Puff daddy.
What speed

Damn scotty..... I got gas and bait money if you ever need another dude to roll with ya lol
Loading that big boat alone was not a super fun experience! But I managed...somehow. Thanks for watching!
@@schoover i bet that 300 on the back aint no feather.... Is that a 20'er?
Boat is about 21-22ft. Of course when I returned to the ramp the wind had to be blowing right IN to it....stuff we do for fish.
